I stopped there yesterday because i see i sign on road side that they have open beach front restaurang and it was a pleasent surprise. It was a fantastisk plase. When we sat down waiter came whit a can of fresh brewed coffe that was perfekt. So i ordered home made vegetable samosa whit home made mango chutney, one of the best samosa i had in Sri Lanka. One more thing that surpised me was the price. I will go back there again for sure. Owner is a nice Lady from Canada

We love it. Staff super friendly.. the General Manager Ms Marcy Vale very lovely lady. Place very clean. And peaceful.what else you want..price wise and size of the room can't complain. Enjoy it. God bless Sri Lanka
Amazing relaxing getaway. Well kept small luxury resort. Very good and reasonably (for a resort) priced restaurant. Ask for the specials as there are often great seafood. Great breakfast options. Plenty of places to relax and hangout. If you get tired of the desserted beatufull beaches, jump in the 41 meter swimming pool. Lovely maneagement that are happy to help out. Well english speaking staff. We felt pampered for 3 days. Small tuk tuk/bus ride from Mirissa and Matara.
Incredible location by the sea and amazing garden and pool (+40 meters). Food and service are close to perfection, the staff is very friendly and smiling. Villas offer a great view on the sea but rooms can be small without any particular view. We definitely recommend this destination for a romantic getaway.
It's just one of the coziest luxury boutique hotel i've ever been. The friendly, attentive and well trained staff make the experience unforgettable. A good chef able to follow your requests and a great massages spa available for guests. Great wi-fi just like being in New York. I would definitely come back.
Thank you for a lovely stay. We really felt we quickly entered the calm and soft spiritual mode we wanted to achieve. The service was excellent, the team always willing to assist in any aspect and wish of ours.
We liked the feeling of a small scale hotel even though close to an urban area.
Please take good care of our new friends Sally and Michael who will visit you in a few days. What a coincidence!
Probably the best overall in Southern Sri Lanka. Spent 6 nights here in November 2019. Accommodation is excellent, new, clean, stylish, huge rooms. But the best rooms are very expensive by Sri Lankan standards especially in high season. They are worth it.
Only 14 rooms in total I think, and only 4 or 5 have the spectacular beach/pool view from upstairs, so try an get one of those if you can afford it.
Service is very good, friendly, as close to 5 star as you will get in Sri Lanka. Food is good but not brilliant, we had 1 brilliant meal, 1 poor meal, and the rest were pretty good by Sri Lankan and Western standards. Breakfasts are fantastic and included.
But the problem with staying at a resort for 6 nights is you get too lazy to go outside to look for variation. There are 14 other restaurants within tuktuk range and some are not good!
This place is expensive, but worth it. The saltwater pool is 6 star, and the beach is excellent for walking. Some surfing here on most days. Not much else to do which was fine by us as we came for a wedding nearby.
Our extras bill was $600 Australian for 6 days for food alcohol and spa. Food is very well priced. Wine and spirits are very expensive everywhere in Sri Lanka due to taxes. Don't forget to leave a big tip at reception, they need it and they deserve it.
Stayed here for several days as part of a family reunion in November 2017. We had a group of about 30 people, and had the entire resort to ourselves. It was positively lovely! Staff was attentive, rooms were beautiful and the pool and amenities were excellent. My next visit to Sri Lanka will absolutely include a stay here.
We booked a double room in one of the four villas directly through the hotel's website. After our arrival everything was taken from us and an iced tea was served - very tasty. Then the operations manager (very friendly - keep it up) showed us the system and we were upgraded to one of the rear suites. This was very nice and possible because of the offseason. The rooms are all very nice and spacious. There is everything you need. The pool is really nice and as there are only four villas it won't be overcrowded in any way. Salt water pool - great!
Breakfast is served a la carte. 4-5 are available. There is always coffee / tea and juice as well as fruit. It took too long to serve for our taste, even when we were the only guests. Coffee and tea should be served before anything else and take a maximum of 5 minutes. There is potential here.
We also had dinner. This was plentiful, tasty and well priced.
The staff were not always particularly attentive, but always tried hard when you approached them. Marcy, the general manager, does a good job and tackles an emergency even when the storm calls for it and tries to teach her employees the service mentality. I think this will gradually bear fruit.
Thank you very much and we can only recommend this accommodation to everyone who is looking for a little relaxation!
Great hotel with beautiful area, small beach area and a large pool. The staff was the hotel always helpful and courteous. The breakfast was great and so was the dinner, especially the fish dishes! ;) Also in Europe this hotel would have 5 stars!
Upon arriving at the Sri Sharavi hotel, you get this feeling of luxury, the place oozes chic from the reception area to the rooms to the pool.
We arrived a little early for check in and the manager, Marcy gave us a tour of the hotel and explained everything we need or may need to know. As our room was being made ready, we left our bags with reception and went to relax by the bar right next to the beach. A little later we were then shown to our room which was the Rampe room and our bags were brought to us, the room itself had a very Mediterranean feel with white stone walls giving it an airy feel. The room had all the amenities you'd expect along with a jar of ginger biscuits (being British, we obviously loved this), aftersun and mosquito repellant and even a docking station for your iPhone!
We were exceptionally lucky to receive an upgrade and the next day we moved to a superior suite in one of the villas which was absolutely amazing! Our bed faced the balcony doors which open onto a pool and sea view and the room itself was huge with a chaise lounge and large bathroom with twin sinks and an open shower area. Each villa has a small number of rooms along with a shared dining and living area, it has it's own cleaning and wait staff who we found to be amazing, nothing is ever too much trouble.
The breakfast selection is great and plentiful, in fact I enjoyed every meal I had here and regardless of whether it is a full meal or just a snack, your table is laid out beautifully. The cocktails were so good, I had to be reminded by my boyfriend that it was still 10:30 sometimes when it came to ordering a drink by the pool!
The pool is salt water infinity which I prefer as I find chlorinated pools really dry my skin out not to mention burning your eyes and nose, theres also the plus of your blonde hair not turning green! We spent a lot of time floating at the edge looking out at the sea.
You can easily hop down to the beach although it's not recommended you try and swim in the sea at this part as there is a rock shelf but a few minute walk takes you to a calmer area. You can walk in either direction.
I would happily stay here again, we didn't want to leave and I definitely feel this will now spoil us for future hotels as we will forever be expecting the standards that we experienced here. Also, make sure you say hello to the resident dogs!
Incredible luxury. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. The staff are kind and try to accommodate your every need. The food is good and fairly priced. This is the kind of resort where you can comfortably spend your whole day, although they also organised an excellent whale watching tour for us.
This was our grand finale on our two-week Sri Lanka trip. We appreciated the service, the good food, the friendly and attentive staff. We had booked one of the Ocean Signature Suites and were absolutely impressed with the room and the view! The hotel has a total of 4 villas, each with 3 rooms, so a total of just 12 rooms. There is a butler / waiter per villa, which is from the morning from breakfast to dinner. The hotel is located directly on the beach and invites to walks. Since the surf is very strong, you should rather swim in the (saltwater) hotel pool. The whole hotel area is very clean and is maintained daily. Altogether so recommended and 5 stars well deserved!
I can't recommend Sri Sharavi highly enough. The property is gorgeous, the location is wonderful, and the staff are delightful. Their food brings out the best of everything we tried in Mirissa. Truly a five star location and experience.
Absolutelyoutstanding property.Which obviously made me to extend my stay.Beautiful layout of the sitting and dinning area dedicated to your space when it comes to the concept of privacy.Rooms are well maintained (something I seldom experience at most properties due to the pandemic situation)and spacious.Perfectly located with a beach front and a pool which is almost the length of the property which I loved. The staff were very friendly, approachable and helpful, who go above and beyond to make sure you have the best time.so thank you Ruwan and Young lady (can not recall her name) who was around throughout and ofcause Sandeep and Marcy.I will definetely come back and I would highly recommend this Villa.
Beautiful clean villas on a picturesque beach with a perfect pool! These villas have a modern yet homely feel, couple that with the one of a kind service from all the staff and you have a special place to stay in Mirissa. Big special mention to Rumesh who looked after us so well during our stay for whatever we needed, making our stay even more pleasurable. All staff wear huge smiles! Will be back soon for sure, missing that pool and view already.
amazing place! very nice and clean rooms. the service and also the kitchen do extraordinary work! really! the management fulfilled all my (extra) wishes. organized whale watching and safari tour for me, no matter what! one negative thing about the location: the water level is pretty high (at least at my stay end of october) what makes the beach totally unusable. the waves would crush you! for experienced surfers though, not bad.
Very nice complex with 4 villas, each with three different rooms. The rooms differ in their actual size and whether they have a veranda, balcony or direct access to the common area and pool. Each villa is looked after by 2 personal employees.
The management and staff are very courteous and helpful.
In addition to the very large pool (45 m long), there is direct access to the beach.
Stayed for 2.5 weeks and loved it! Great staff, rooms and food with very fair prices. Highly recommend a visit even during the pandemic. Looking forward to comin back.
This is an absolutely wonderful hotel - beautiful location, perfectly situated, extremely nice rooms. The pool and sunbed area is very well maintained, the staff are lovely - very pleasant, attentive and chatty; bringing us a speaker to have music while we were having dinner and making sure everything is as we want.
The breakfast is very good (included in the booking) and the rest of the food on the menu is tasty, well cooked, generously portioned and very reasonably priced.
I would love to go back to Sri Sharavi and hope I can do one day, and I highly recommend it to people looking for perfect place to stay in Mirissa. It's a very well done, well run operation and the staff should be very happy with how successfully it works. Thanks for such a lovely stay.
Marcy and her great staff do everything to make your holiday unforgettable! Superb, and very clean rooms, and a wonderful living in each of the houses. Also perfect food, from breakfast to diner. Where do you find a chef who visit you every afternoon to ask what you want for dinner! Here on this heaven on earth! We hope the complete staff continue the way they do now and gave to all future guests the same great feeling we had in march 2018. Thanks again to Marcy and her great staff.
One of the most amazing places I've stayed at. Staff excellent very friendly and accommodating to requests. Private beach and pool are quiet even at 75% occupancy. Room was clean and luxurious. Would gladly stay here again, ideal for couples, kids may get bored however. The ocean at the private beach is not safe due to the size of the waves but further along the beach is a calmer bit
Beautiful hotel with a nice location, on a calm beach (although not swimmable) with few tourists. The spa is great, massages are professional. At night, we spotted many sea turtles on the beach laying eggs, which added to the great experience. I would recommend this hotel.
Fantastic place to stay! Pool area was amazing and service was great. Bit far from Mirissa town, but we found ourselves just spending the day in the pool anyway. Highly recommended!
Fantastic hotel. Our room was big and with the most beautiful beach view. The restaurant was outdoor at the beach and couldn't be better. Service level from staff was fantastic. We will be back ......
