Went for the Christmas market, there were a lot of vendors and it was nice to wander - nothing personally that really piqued my interest.

They had - personal food vendors, craft vendors, your mlm vendors (like Scentsy, DoTerra, Young Living, Epicure, etc)

Spruce Meadows is a beautiful property. I had only been here once before when there were no events on, and it was still worth exploring then. But this time I attended the Masters tournament. It was awesome! I can't think of any other place that provides so much quality entertainment for a $5 admission fee, and that even includes parking. There was a lot to see and do besides watching the show jumping. (Though watching that was definitely the highlight for me; it's so much cooler to see in person than it is on TV.) I did purchase a ticket that got me a seat in the grandstand, but it was reasonably priced. I'll bring something soft to sit on next time because the wooden seats are not easy on the backside. I really commend the Spruce Meadows staff, they were cheerful, helpful and everything is so very well organized. If you ever get a chance to take in a tournament with your family, I would 100% recommend it.

Great place to visit, always fun, always lots going on here. Would recommend if you've never been. They keep the grounds immaculate here, beautiful grass and trees, always so clean. World class show jumping. Great food selections. Lots to see for the kids; train rides, face painting, carousel. They don't charge nearly enough money to come either as admission is only $5 for adults and kids are free.

Was ok. Went for the Christmas market. Disappointed in the vendors. Would have preferred more Christmassy and/or less expensive items rather than the $300 straightener some guy spent half an hour trying to sell me. Oh well, guess everyone likes different things. The atmosphere (decorations, fire pits, singers)were nice but most products were out of my price range.

Been going a couple of years now but think I will give next year a pass. Not worth the entrance fee.

So much to do. This blows the slack off of any christmas even you'll go to this season. You have so many choices from handmade, to imported, to homemade! Something for the children and for the adults! Plus don't forget to try to mulled wine!! Yum!!

A hidden gem in Calgary! We attend all the Show Jumping tournaments in the summer and have loved the addition of the Movies in the Meadows in the summer season between tournaments. The Christmas Market in early winter is a great way to get in the Christmas spirit. One of my favourite places to visit!

I don't own a horse not a fan of equestrian sports, this is every second year to there public children's event with various types of competitions. Our incentives were the children's rides and mini doughnuts, we surprisingly found a good military display, I must admit the lineups were massive but worth the wait, go early

great pokemon go location, minus all stops now close at 5pm daily with park hours. However can now be extremely difficult to park as between the show jumping misc events and now this new soccer club hours of operation are not actually what is posted. Could also use a "store" to buy drinks while no events are on but you still want to enjoy the lovely atmosphere. -edited review and removed a star from previous review

Spruce Meadows is such a fantastic place to visit!...

Spruce Meadows is such a fantastic place to visit! In the summertime the staff of Spruce Meadows does such a wonderful job of coordinating all the competitions and events that happen; including the safety of all horses, riders, and visitors. They have an array of food and drink selections and the lines are never super long. The prices are really good as well so it's easy enough to grab something quick without feeling like your spending a fortune.

The biggest thing I love about Spruce Meadows is their ability to bring and entertain thousands of people each year and still have the price of entrance at 5$ per person (standard adult admission). It's lovely because my family and I can go multiple times a year (which of course we try to go to every event).

Spruce Meadows is also a kid friendly and dog friendly facility (dogs have to be on leashes and they can't go in some places, so read up on that on their website).

It's an overall amazing experience and I'd highly recommend going no matter what!

I wouldn't know much about the place for it's intended purpose, but i was there for rugged maniac and the facility was very well setup and maintained for the event. Could ba provideded more water for the mud pits, as tbey were lacking, but my guess is that wasn't the fault of the facility.

Be aware of the change to the schedule for the 2019 christmas market. It was open later last year when I went and, thinking that the same times were in place, I made my way over after work with a friend only to find that they closed at 7pm on the Friday we chose. So we paid $10 each to walk around as fast as we could for a whole hour.
Also 7pm means 7pm. Don't expect the vendors to stay open for anyone who wants to stay and spend money. Not sure why they would do this to the vendors or how they expect people getting off work on a Friday to enjoy the market with these dumb hours.

Terrible experience going to a Cavalry FC game. They made my 6 months pregnant wife dump out her water before entering the grounds, they assured us there were places she could fill it on the other side but when we got through we couldn't find any. We asked multiple staff all of whom didnt know/care until one person told us to fill from the toilet faucets. We asked if that water was potable because a pregnant woman should not be taking that risk and once again the attendant didnt know/care. It's pretty deplorable that the grounds would force someone to empty their water so they have to purchase their overpriced bottled water on an hot day.
