What a unique and fabulous service. They have helped family and friends out over the years and we are very grateful to them. Did you know they cover right up to the Kapiti and Wairarapa regions as well. As this is a free service, WFA love donations and help too. The 2019 annual street appeal is coming up so if you have time please help them out. I cant speak highly enough of such a great service.

Support Wellington Free Ambulance Service, one day...

Support Wellington Free Ambulance Service, one day it may save your life or those who are close to you.

How about REALLOCATING a good portion of the $20 BILLION BUDGET earmarked by the govt. for "defence" (from what??) yesterday into services that are so much more DESERVING OF MORE FUNDING such as hospitals, ambulance services, R & D (agricultural, medical, tech), etc. Does the govt. realistically expect the ambulance and other medical services to rally to the rescue in the wake of a BIG QUAKE when these can barely cope even now?

It beggars belief that after Christchurch those dense ppl in power are so complacent that they do not see fit to PREPARE NZ FOR the BIG ONE, the QUAKES & AFTERSHOCKS which will decimate the capital, etc. where EMERGENCY PLANS & PROVISIONS should have taken TOP PRIORITY after CHCH and be well in place by now, including SAVING AND GENERATING RESOURCES (will need trillions, personnel, medical and all kinds of services, etc. ) to cope with this MASSIVE EARTHQUAKE AFTERMATH which could potentially wipe out Wn.

Take a look globally and under the earth's crust at recent earthquake disasters, don't imagine that NZ will be spared when we are sitting on top of the same /similar, active, tectonic plates.

About Wellington Free Ambulance

Wellington Free Ambulance: Providing Free Healthcare Services to the Greater Wellington and Wairarapa Region

Wellington Free Ambulance is a non-profit organization that provides free ambulance and healthcare services to the Greater Wellington and Wairarapa region. The organization was founded in 1927 by a group of volunteers who wanted to provide emergency medical care to those in need. Today, Wellington Free Ambulance has grown into one of the largest ambulance services in New Zealand, with over 400 staff members and more than 100 vehicles.

The mission of Wellington Free Ambulance is simple: to provide high-quality healthcare services to anyone who needs them, regardless of their ability to pay. The organization operates on a donation-based model, which means that they rely on the generosity of individuals and businesses in the community to fund their operations.

One of the unique aspects of Wellington Free Ambulance is that they are not funded by the government or any other external sources. This means that they have complete control over how their resources are allocated, allowing them to focus on providing top-notch care for their patients.

In addition to providing emergency medical services, Wellington Free Ambulance also offers a range of other healthcare programs designed to improve overall health outcomes for people living in the region. These programs include community education initiatives focused on topics like CPR training and first aid skills development.

Another key aspect of Wellington Free Ambulance's work is their commitment to innovation. The organization has invested heavily in new technologies designed to improve patient outcomes and reduce response times. For example, they have developed an app called "St John Clinical" which allows paramedics access patient records remotely while en route so they can better prepare for emergencies before arriving at scene.

Overall, Wellington Free Ambulance plays an essential role in ensuring that people living in Greater Wellington and Wairarapa have access high-quality healthcare services when they need it most. By donating today you can help support this vital service so it can continue its life-saving work well into future generations!
