Spruce Meadows Review

I went to the movie on the spruce.. I would talk about the organization.. although there were so many of them - of course thank you to all of them - but their tackling was to me not that much efficient..
They were all on a straight line, so you would have to wait for the people in front of you for longer time.
I would suggest to be in two lines, especially that there were some people with pre- purchased tickets.

This place is amazing. We went for the Masters in September. Horse jumping. Pony rides. Train rides. Wagon rides. Playground with play structure. Kids free. Seniors free. Parking free. Adults $5. Family fun at an affordable price. Grounds are kept in excellent condition. Spruce meadows does not disappoint.

Amazing day complete with a great competition in which Canada came in second only to Germany who won Gold, beautiful weather, amazing facilities good food and great people. Amazing time had by all...

Great location, beautiful grounds. Staff are friendly and everything is always very clean. The international Christmas markets are a real treat!

I attended a Calvary FC soccer game and I was blown away by the experience. A 6000 person covered stand, lots of concession stores, easy parking (but an outrageous $10 on top of the ticket price for the game, disgraceful really), and a great atmosphere. Soccer has come to Calgary and it's a fantastic venue really.

A very nice place for meetings and events. Great facilities, huge parking lot and a very powerful brand. Five stars for sure.

It is different in a good way. People put a great effort to make home made staff and home made food which is awesome.

Always a grest place to come as adults or with kids. Depending on the day or event it us free or low cost to get in. World class horse jumping, a great carousel for kids, food options, free parking a couple minutes walk away, free shuttle for those with mobility handicaps

Great time with my kids at the Masters. Train ride, pony ride, and lots of staff in costume with horses. The kids ended up two hours late for their nap. Totally worth it.

Truly a world class facility with tons to offer horse lovers from all around the world. Horse racing, sales of championship stock, training for athletes, and horses alike, just to scratch the surface. Also each Christmas they offer almost 75KM of the most amazing Christmas lights atop massive Christmas trees in a scene sure to bring out the Christmas spirit in just about everyone! Truly an epic and beautiful sight that each of us should behold at least once in our lives! :)

You can take your family including little children to Spruce Meadows during the summer and just enjoy their grounds. You can sit outside enjoy the sun, see the horses, the kids can take a little train ride around and get some snacks from their vendors on site. It's beautiful there. Lovely and Lush and very calm. A lovely place to enjoy the afternoon with no admission charge

We went to the Christmas market. An enjoyable walk around. Lots of vendors.

People are friendly and great to bring your family here.

The spruces are in situ...the decoration must have taken a long time and is most impressive.
Indeed, the day after my visit the news showed the aerial view...just as impressive as being there.
Hot chocolate, coffee, wine, beer and some hearty meals available.
Definitely recommended.

Beautiful xmas lights on so many trees; however, we went on a Saturday evening and got in the line-up going West on Stoney into Spruce Meadows at 7pm and were in line for 3 hours! Not worth that wait.

Spruce Meadows is an amazing venue. Beautifully maintained and so much to see and do - we were there to attend the Masters showjumping event and saw the Nation's Cup. Wonderful venue for anything equestrian but just in general a beautiful place for a picnic or a walk/jog and it is dog friendly as well.

Just go. If horses run through your blood like they do mine, you will never give anything below a 5 star rating. I grew up watching spruce Meadows show jumping and it was incredible to be able to say I got to go.
