Extremely child friendly. Had a play room available from early morning till 10 at night for the kids to play in. Had a surplus of toys in the room as well as a pool for everyone to play with. A very extensive breakfast bar and best of all it is right across the street from sesame place.

Horrible. There is one woman doing everything. Check in took forever. Called for towels, I expect them tomorrow if I'm lucky. Was supposed to get a pack n play, still waiting on it. Hope I'll get it for tomorrow night... there are no sheets on the pull out couch, no one to get those either. It's just a total disaster with no one to speak to.
Will not be returning., too bad bc it's walking distance to sesame place

Bathroom didn't have a lock but a sliding glass door that projects the bathroom light onto the beds where people sleep. Design flaw. Besides that they have breakfast in the morning, exercise room, pool, free valet and laundry room. If you go in the pool and have kids make sure they don't run on the pool side AT ALL! It is very slippery. The breakfast is simple and will save you if you have a big family. One great perk is the hotel has a walking path to Sesame Place. Staff was very friendly except about towels. Towels are gold to the hotel world.

The staff was nice and accomadating, room was clean and smelling fresh, even had a problem of roadkill on property and was dealt with quickly. Worth spending the money for what I got.

Apparently this hotel is under new management. Cam...

Apparently this hotel is under new management. Came on a Thursday at 2:15 to check in and the lobby was already mobbed with people waiting for rooms. The poor attendant at the front was trying his best to accommodate everyone and was left alone with no management to support the crowd. Rooms were not ready, and it was a free for all once he was able to start checking people in. Someone in valet said that under the new management, it s like this everyday and that people are left waiting a long time for rooms. Check-in is at 3, we didn t get our room until 3:30.

At night, my husband went up front to get one of our key cards fixed (one didn t work) and said there were a group of people needing things for their room (pillows, towels, etc.) and they were told housekeeping staff were only there until 8. So the receptionist had to go get them pillows which delayed the help of everyone else.

When you re a hotel right across from sesame place with a large number of families coming in, you need to do better! Kids don t always have the ability to wait an hour which makes it very stressful for parents!

On the flip side, the rooms were clean and large which was perfect for our daughters pack and play. The bathroom was nice as well. I just wish the process went much smoother for coming in.

Check in was a very long wait even after the check in time. Other people had to wait over one hour to check in. I was informed that new management took over this hotel. It s very disorganized with the new management. The pool area had no towels for two days. The rooms wasn t cleaned the next day. They said they are short staffed. Now they also charge $15 a day for parking. Overall the hotel was clean but with the new management team it s quality definitely went down and will continue.

Nice Hotel....quick and easy check in and cgeck out. Staff was friendly. Great Room. I did however have a problem with the TV and the instructions i was given to try and fix did not work. But overall i was there to visit Sesame Place with my grandson so TV wasn't really a priority. Park right across the street was soooooo convenient, especially with a 2 year old. Being able able to go back to hotel for nap time was awesome. Room was cool, so was pool and the outside fire pit so pretty i want that exact one. Will definitely stay here again when i return.

Called around 2pm to say we will be checking in late and was told that was ok. We arrived after 8:30pm and were told that because there was a situation there aren't any rooms available. There were a couple of families waiting before we arrived. The front desk employee said the wait would be about a half hour. We ended up waiting for about nearly 2 hours for our room to be available. The front desk clerk told us that because the power had went off the previous day they could not clean the rooms right away. My question is why couldn't they warn their guests about this problem before they arrived? We had called at 2pm. It would have been common courtesy to let us know there was a problem with the rooms. And when we asked to speak to a manager we were told she was upstairs cleaning. By 10pm the lobby was filled with families with young children and infants waiting for their rooms without knowing how long the wait would be. There was also no organized way to keep track of who came in first. I would not stay at this hotel again. I understand that the power outage could not have been controlled but the way the room situation was handled just showed the incompetency of manai.

Great location if you are taking children to Seasame Place. Rooms were smallish and the breakfast too simplified. Maybe a better assortment and meat options would have been nice. Staff were nice but are only focused on the direct operation of their facility and do not tend to be knowledgeable much of the options of things to do around them.

This place was a disaster. We made a reservation 2 months ahead of time. We arrived at 10 am, expecting that we would not be able to check in yet, and were told we would get a text when the room was ready in the afternoon, which was perfectly fine. We called after check in time and were told our two rooms were ready. At 3:00 we went to check in (after spending time at Sesame Place in 95 degree heat) hoping to cool down before dinner. No one was even there to check anyone in and people were milling around waiting. When someone did come to the counter, we were told that the rooms were cleaned and ready, but they hadn't been officially listed in the computer as clean so they couldn't actually give us our keys yet. OK... so back to the heat and park for dinner. After dinner we (the FIVE little kids and us) went back to check in again at around 6pm. By now there was basically an angry mob of people who were clearly all promised rooms and had been waiting around now for hours- people were furious and swearing at the ONE worker who was trying to control things but clearly couldn't do anything about this mess. We asked him about our room and he said he didn't understand why it wasn't coming up as ready in the computer so he would go check himself- so he leaves for about 5 or 10 minutes (again, huge mob in lobby) and then comes back and goes to the next person. We basically interrupt him and ask will it be ready now or not, so he says no and we say fine (we didn't feel like joining the angry mob) and went back to the park for the parade. We return AGAIN at about 8 pm and now ONE of our TWO rooms is ready, so we head there and WATCH the very slow staff clean our room. We had to make several calls down before my sister in law finally demanded the key and we were able to get in at 8:30. No compensation offered. When we checked out the next day there was already an angry line of people. We were told they recently were under new management. This place is close, but a disaster. Until they work out the "new management" I would stay further away and save the aggravation!

Depending on the season, it can be packed with families with small children sure to the proximity to Sesame Place. Rooms are comfortable, but the walls and floor/ceiling are thin. Noise from neighbors can be an issue.

Overall the location is clean and neat we had a a fire alarm that caused an evacuation. The walls also were a little thin so you could hear people's conversations and unfortunately some guest did not respect people's right to sleep at two in the morning.

the reason why I give 5star to this hotel because they are honest and service well. I lost my phone somewhere and I felt desperate since I was looking for a long time. 2days ago I got a call from springhill ,they told me they found my phone and were willing to send back ny for me. I was surprised they did a extra job for me and I get my phone today. it means a lot . I definitely will go back there to support them. highly recommendations. love it

Hotel has no clean rooms and over an hour wait to even check in. I get that it s frustrating but the bad staff attitude doesn t help. For a place catering to families with kids, it s not acceptable.

Perfect location for a visit to Sesame Place! You can walk down the sidewalk to the front gate. Rooms were nice and comfy. Desk separating the bed from the sofa area was awesome since we had an 18-month old in a pack-n-play. Only complaints (and not worth deducting a star) was that there were not enough towel racks (1, barely big enough for one bath towel) and it would have been nice to have a bath tub instead of just a shower stall (especially since they cater to families with kids). Breakfast had a great selection and was stocked constantly. Definitely will stay here anytime we go to Sesame Place again!

Its clean and pretty new but the rooms are a little small for the price. I guess it's all about the location; it's right across the street from Sesame place. The evening manager on Sunday was rude and snarky and made for an uncomfortable vibe when requesting certain needs like sheets to the pull out bed. Definitely needs customer service training.

We left the room at 9:00am and returned after a long day at 8:00pm with two tired kids. The room had not been cleaned and there were no fresh towels. Front desk said they would send housekeeping ASAP. Kids went swimming and when they came back a half hour later, still no service. I called back to the front desk and was informed by the manager, Kayla, that housekeeping had left and no one was coming. When I said that was not acceptable she said she could bring towels and would offer us a discount or points but would not comp the room and then hung up on me! I didn t want a comped room- I wanted a clean room! Not acceptable for any price level hotel to not clean and not offer to make it good!

The room was clean and modern BUT the bed was horribly uncomfortable!! It was like lying on a board with springs, and the pillows were all way too thick for someone with a small stature. It was like sleeping partially sitting up, so had to discard halfway through the night. I feel like everything in the room was going for 5 star material and then they skimped on the mattress and pillow variety!

I still give 4 stars because for an overnight stay, the entire hotel was very clean, the staff was friendly and accommodating and the free breakfast was good.

It's a great place for a weekend getaway or when traveling for work. I love the unique floor plans and beautiful and spacious bathrooms. I definitely recommend springhill suites. The staff are extremely courteous and definitely go out of their way to make sure you are satisfied. A special shout out to Tom at the front desk.

Perfect hotel to stay at for Sesame Place. Clean spacious room right across the street from sesame place that offers free breakfast. The fire pit and indoor pool is a nice touch. I would stay here again for sure. Sheraton across the street is similar in quality but the fact u can easily walk to sesame place in 3 minutes gives this place the edge.

My family stayed here to visit Sesame Place for the weekend. It was great! Friendly service, complimentary valet parking and so convenient for the park (a short walk across the street and we were at Sesame Place).
They had menus at the front desk to order local food delivery directly to the room.
We had a great time with our 2 toddlers =)

Staff is nice rooms are dated but okay my issue is we stayed here as a layover from North Carolina back to New York and the place smells like pot every time I walk outside. As well as down by pool on ground floor and when you have a 3 year old you don't appreciate that very much won't come back.

Check in at 3 but our room wasn't ready till 7:30. Poor customer service that day. Our room wasn't cleaned the next day. The pool is not nice & no towels were available. Our bed was very uncomfortable & you couldn't sit on the couch. Walking distance to the park was great.

I hate hotels. But did not want to drive the 4 hrs back home. So chose this one. Am so happy I did. I think if I go places I might look for springhill from now on first. Customer service, excellent. Room actually halfway decent. Of course cleanliness could be better. I might be more picky than most, but my first job was housekeeping in a hotel. I know they don't clean well even up to your lowest expectation.anyway, this is one is actually a two minute walking from sesame place. With 20 dollar parking at the park. We saved!

We checked into our room, the tub and sink drain were not draining and the phone wasn't working. The guest services were very rude, especially to give us a new room. The complimentary breakfast was poorly done. The sausage was cold, utensils ran out, food was running out. Had to let the front desk know. Not enough room for guests to sit and eat.

Fantastic rooms and amenities! Comfortable 2 bed suites with a pull out sofa, indoor pool and hot tub, exercise and laundry room are also available.

Located walking distance from the Sesame Place amusement park.

The service was amazing. They were more than happy to help with anything we needed during our stay, and the free continental breakfast had plenty to offer!

Really bad hotel. Check on time is 3pm. Two rooms finally available at 7 pm. One not till 8. Lobby was a zoo with many families waiting.
One room had to move as air conditioning did not work. Ours had mold in the bathtub and tile coming away from the wall in the bathroom ( see pictures).
Stay away!!!

Me and my gf stay at a lot of Marriott hotels this is by far the worst. Rooms are horribly set up. When we walked in there was a body Odor smell in the room and soap scum on the shower walls. Will not be staying at this hotel any time soon again I ll still to the other Marriott s for the price

Place was great , right next sesame place check in and walk right over. Looks like it was just renovated or brand new. Rooms and grounds were very well kept. Exceptional service from the two boys working valet. Cory and Greg were extremely helpful with all the bags and two really nice young kids to talk to. Next years trip to sesame we will definitely be back.

The hotel was great the staff was super friendly and acomidating.
We arrived at the hotel with our 2 grandsons (18 month and 3 months) much earlier than the 3pm check-in and the desk staff were able to arrange an early check-in for us despite the fact that it was on a weekend and the hotel was fully booked.
Thank you, we'll definitely be back!
