I was a first new car buyer and was so pleased with my service here at Spradley Barr in Greeley! I worked with Brent who was easygoing, respectful and helped me get the best deal that he could. With the help of Matt and Troy as well- I was very happy and relived at the ease of the whole process and walked away with a light heart, truly knowing I got a very good deal. Brent even scrubbed the bugs off of my old license plates on my trade in!! I am very appreciative and so happy in my new car! Thank you.

Sold me a Ford Fiesta. Long story short there was a settlement out on this car, along with Ford focus for bad transmissions. My transmission went out twice. Once at 16,000 miles and once at 24,000 miles. I still owe 4,000, but Ford will not buy it back from me. I have two babies to feed. Disappointed in Ford.
Tried to buy a new 2021 Ranger from Spradley, just a few miles from home. Our salesman, Paul, did a good job trying to find a vehicle with the features we wanted, but the sales manager (whoever he/she is) worked behind the wizard s curtain and offered us an unacceptable, low ball deal for our trade. The manager never took a second to mosey out of his/her hidden corner office to meet us. Their best deal was to combine a Ford trade-in incentive (available to all) with a low ball offer on our well maintained Tacoma to try to convince us that we were getting a reasonable deal. When I showed Paul my research on my trade value, he explained that Spradley doesn t use Kelly Blue Book but instead uses the Black Book that s only available to dealers. I was subsequently able to access Black Book through Consumer Reports online and determined that I was low balled over $3,000 against Black Book and $5,000 against KBB.
That weekend, I independently found a suitable truck that meets our needs through AutoTrader, located in Torrington, WY. I called the dealer to confirm availability on Monday morning and drove the Tacoma 150 miles up to Wyoming that afternoon. A few hours later, I drove our new Ranger Lariat back to Colorado. Transwest Ford in Torrington were a joy to deal with. Their first offer was spot on and we amicably shook hands. Saved thousands over Spradley s offer. Shame that we couldn t broker a reasonable deal locally.
I get it that a dealer has to make as much as possible on current stock. (I also get it that dealers need good used stock to supplement income, hence the generous Ford trade-in incentive.) With the fallout from COVID, Ford can t get microchips to complete thousands of vehicles sitting in Kentucky and the Midwest, and dealers are scrambling. But Transwest is in much worse shape than Spradley with less than 15 new vehicles in stock. When I drove away, there was one Ranger and zero F-150s on their lot. Yet they were able to immediately offer a good, honest deal right away. Will not be using Greeley Spradley for any sales or service in the future because of this experience.
Lastly, this is my first new Ford ever. My last Ford was a used 1975 Ford Granada that I bought in 1980 out of college. Sad that my local dealer couldn t have re-introduced us to the Ford family more honestly.
Do your homework before buying. And don t fall for any deal that purports that part of your trade-in value is included in a Ford incentive. They are separate items, and an unscrupulous dealer will try to convince you otherwise.
My wife and I are very happy with the whole purchase process at Spardley Barr Ford. Alex Nimmo from start to finish was absolutely awesome. He was in no way pushy and has so much knowledge about his product. I can definitely appreciate that. Made it so easy to figure out which truck we wanted with the right options. Plus got payment where we needed and zero interest on our loan who could ask for more. We very much look forward to enjoying the truck for years to come.
Wonderful service. I thought i was just getting my vehicle fixed. they did an amazing job fixing it.. then they detailed the whole car. I was given updates every few days of the status of my car. Thank you Spradley Barr Ford body shop. I hope I do not have to bring my buggy back but if I do you will be my first call
We just left Spradley Barr Ford of Greeley. Everyone there are always so helpful.Duncan was our sales person done a great job helping us.he was very knowledgeable on the truck was purchased.thanks again for all your help
Absolutely terrible service department! Spend 70,000 on a truck and they can't even change the oil correctly. Put 14 quarts oil in a 6.7 diesel that takes 13! Oil black as night after changing it! Oil on fenders and inside cab! Total incompetence!
I put $10,000 down on a used truck at Spradley Barr. My truck was lifted with tires and rims. They sold me their power train warranty for the truck. Well I had the truck for about 9 months when it began making a noise. I turned out the transmission needed replaced. The warranty did not cover it because of the lift which was already on it. The dealership promised me that they would refund my warranty. It s 3 months later I haven t seen a dime from the dealership and I m paying notes on a truck that is broke down in my yard.
My wife and I recently purchased a used 2016 Cadillac SRX from Spradley Barr in Greeley. We worked with Matt Koponen on the purchase. About a week after we drove it home we noticed that there was hail damage on the roof and the hood that we hadn't seen when we purchased it. We called Matt and his immediate response was "We will take care of it." He did just that. He had Ultimate Dent Removal do the repairs. Their service and quality of work was very good. Now you cannot see any hail damage. We will definitely go back to Spradley Barr when we are looking for another vehicle.
