Sparkling Point Review

Super impressed! Being native Californians and having been to dozens of wineries from Napa to Santa Barbara, we admittedly weren't expecting to be blown away by the quality on L.I. but these sparkling wines were amazing. Taylor our wine tender was super sweet and knowledgeable. The ambiance was lovely, you can sit outdoors overlooking the vineyard or hang out indoors. The owners are Brazil aficionados so they've displayed tons of Brazilian artwork and Carnaval-themed items. They seat big groups (typically drunken bachelorette parties) far from everyone else down in a separate area to give the rest of us peace and quiet to enjoy the experience. Unlike most wineries where you stand at crowded counters for pours, competing for employees' attention to get your next tasting, here you are served restaurant-style at your own table which was lovely. We did not try the nibbles as we'd just eaten however they have caviar, gourmet cheeses, charcuterie, chocolates, artisanal honey, and best of all, everything is locally-sourced from NY. So good job for supporting the neighborhood mom and pops! We loved it so much, we will be back when we move here next month to join their wine club.

Great tasting room if you re a sparkling fan! The 2013 brut was definitely a highlight and a great value. If rustic is what you re going for, this probably isn t your spot, but it has a beautiful renovated interior and a great view.

One tip: get the chocolate pairing. It s fantastic!

Very comfortable outside seating. Sparkling wine is their specialty. I enjoyed the 2011 Blanc de Blancs, a sparkling wine made from 100% Chardonnay grapes. Pricier than nearby Martha Clara but fancier, too.

We've been going here for years and love their wines and atmosphere along with the amazing staff, especially Kelsey. She always remembers us and is smiling. If your out on the North Fork this is a must try.

I have been a member here for over six years. In my opinion, Sparkling Pointe is one of the best vineyards on the North Fork. They treat their members like family. Always go above and beyond to make us - and our guests - feel special and welcome. Thank you!! This winery is stunning! I cannot recommend it enough. All of the sparkling wines we had were delicious, the caviar was very reasonably price. Excellent customer service and the vineyards are gorgeous. We cannot wait to return!

A great place to relax and sip some sparkling wines on an off-season Sunday afternoon. The weather was gorgeous, the jazz duo was putting out a nice smooth vibe, and the ambiance was just right. A perfect spot. The only downside is that they only do white wines, but the consolation is that they do them well.

We spent the weekend wine tasting on the North Fork and our last stop of the weekend was here at Sparkling Pointe. I have to say, we definitely saved the best for last. We enjoyed our time here so much. The sparkling wine was fantastic and the atmosphere of the winery was great. The service was excellent. It was busy but still they took the time to explain each of the wines we tasted in detail and answered all of our questions. We tried some local cheese and sausage which made for a great lunch. I would definitely recommend a stop here if you are visiting the Long Island wineries. It is so worth it!

Fantastic way to start off our anniversary getaway at the end of October. Took every covid precaution and made us feel very safe. We sat outside in the rain but under an overhang and it was a beautiful view of the vineyard. We were there on a weekday so it was not crowded and a very nice experience.

Sparkling Pointe is a rare North Fork winery. It's an absolutely stunning setting and tasting house. They make exclusively sparkling wine in the traditional method. Their Brut Seduction is aged for almost 10 years before they release it. If you like sparkling wine, or if you're curious, definitely check it out. Their staff is amazing and will make you feel like a rock star.

This is a winery in the North fork that serves only sparkling wines. One with think that only sparkling wines for selection would be boring and monotonous however this winery has many varieties that taste quite different. The wines are a bit pricey but if you join as a member you can get 10% off. The Tasting room is spacious and large And also has a backyard patio with very ample seating with fantastic views of the winery. The waitstaff at the back yard section are very good and attentive. We really enjoyed our tasting here of all of their delicious wines. There is also quite a few items on the food menu for snacks so that you can still drive home.

Great wine, amazing service, absolutely beautiful, open stone patio in the back overlooking the vineyard. A must visit if you're touring the vineyards on Long Island without a single doubt

One of the best vineyards on the east end! Sparkling point has delicious sparkling wines and their food selection is extensive and really great. The caviar is superb and they even have desserts

I have a wine membership here and will be canceling. This was a very sad experience. While I understand social distancing and diligently practice it my self, you mind as well be in jail. Once you arrive, don't get out of your car until you are told. They seat you and at no time are you allowed to talk to anyone other than at your table. Asked if you can walk down the aisles of the vineyard and was told no. No one is in the vineyard! After 1 hr 30 mins of being there I was brought my check. Almost to say, its time for you to leave. You have to have your face mask on most of the time especially when the servers come to you. No bottles of wine. Glasses only. So you are paying double what a bottle of wine costs. Very sad as this was once a place that I very much enjoyed!

This was the most beautiful facility and we were able to be served and enjoy a flight of wines while sitting outdoors. The server was was awesome! Only sparkling wines though. Must be a lovely place for a wedding.

I'm not the kind of guy to write a review without including both good and bad, but everything about our visit was superb. We were served extremely well by Michael, who was everything a host should be - attentive, prompt, knowledgeable and gracious. The wines were terrific. Their Carnaval wines were a nice blend and their cheese selection was also on point. Great photo ops at the vineyards. Laid back, calm and quiet atmosphere. We didn't want to leave! Cannot say enough good things about this place... The owners should truly be proud! Great job!

Beautiful location-come for the atmosphere-very open and full of colorful art and chandeliers. The vineyard is a wonderful view and the staff is friendly. Compared to a few other places in the area the food is on the upper limit of price range for me and tastings are $4+ per if I remember correctly which I wasn't too thrilled about after having spent some time at other wineries beforehand but the atmosphere is worth the visit and the kids really enjoyed the vineyard.

Went on a Saturday afternoon. The place was packed. All their sparkling wine is delicious. It's medium priced at 30-80 a bottle. Highly recommend a tasting and getting some sausage, cheese, and crackers and hanging out for a couple hours.

Classy. Delicious. A little pricier than some, but that comes with great sparkling wine, great service, and a beautiful ambiance.

My wife and I had a great visit to Sparkling Pointe! The tasting room is beautiful and the outside patio is kept immaculate. Travis, our waiter, was excellent and extreamly knowledgeable. We highly recommend him. The types of sparkling wine are varied and some are seasonal. I would recommend the grand tasting as it gives you the most bang for your buck. As well as the award winning cheese selection. Worth the drive and the time- the grounds are pristine! Lastly, beautiful statue of Christ is in the vineyard!

Great service and perfect place for a glass of sparkling wine and snacks. They let you walk through the vineyard, unlike most places.

Really great sparkling wines, fair prices for tastings. Beautiful outdoor seating that tops a lot of other wineries on Long Island. I wasn't a sparkling wine fan before I came here, so give it a try! I do wish there was more snacks on the menu to pair with the wines.

One of the nicest tasting rooms on the North Fork Wine Trail, Sparkling Pointe specializes in sparkling wines produced from locally grown grapes. Making their wines in the traditional champagne method, their winemaker intensely focuses on quality.

During warmer months, sitting outside close to their vines while enjoying their snacks and wines is an experience you simply must have when trawling along the NOFO wine trail.

Absolutely love this place. The sparkling wines are great. I was on a wine tour from fever. I purchased the Brutal and the Carnival sparkeking wines. The place is beautiful. Super fun atmosphere and really nice staff. Definitely check it out!

The place was super rude and discriminated my medical condition not allowing me to enter

I came here for my birthday with 2 groups of 6. We had 2 seperate reservations and followed all the guidelines of the winery. Upon arriving at the winery the man outside, who said he was the manager was extremely rude. He refused to seat us even though we had 2 reservations since we all arrived together. He was not nice about it even explaining that we understand and we can leave and come back separately 6 at a time. He went inside, I guess to go speak to someone and after making us wait finally let us sit for our reservations. I have never been treated so horribly at a winery before and was appalled by the behavior of someone who was the manager. I understand the NY rules and we were following them.

The place is so beautiful. Great place to have a wedding or special occasions. Their wines are also good.

Not only were able they fit us in same day for a party of 10, the atmosphere is busy and beautiful, the hosts and staff were polite, helpful and our server Monique was awesome.

They were the perfect ending to our be helorette wine day!!

Beautiful winery - super nice - great view - new facility

Very beeautiful and spacious vineyard. Their menu is all sparkling wines. The rose was one of my favorites. At this winery, they take you to a table and serve you from there. The back patio is pretty large and there's live music on the weekends

Probably the most picturesque vineyard I visited, they're definitely going for an upscale feel. Beautiful building where you have to be seated. If you're planning on staying for more than one glass I recommend the flight, each pour is about half a glass and includes a bottle of water. Outside food is prohibited.

Beautiful property, wonderful vineyard. Sparkling wines were delicious, servers very knowledgeable about the drinks. You can get by the glass, bottle, and tastings. They have everything from crisp and dry sparkling wines to sweet and fruity. Also have a few brandy options as well. Indoor and outdoor seating. Very relaxing atmosphere, Brazilian feel to the place with the art work and music playing in the background. Christ the Redeemer statue in the vineyard is a cool touch. Quite a few bachelorette parties while we were there, seems like a great spot for such a celebration, or even a wedding. Location is beautiful.

A great place on LI to drink some bubbly. You can't technically call it champagne but it is better than most in my opinion at its given price point. The most expensive standard bottle is 75 dollars.

Such a beautiful place! The moment you step foot onto the patio you feel so connected to the vineyard. The service was wonderful and they educated us on every bottle they offered. We had a flight and caviar, we loved everything about this place. Absolutely will recommend to our friends and family and we will be back.

Beautiful experience at Sparkling Pointe! We went to celebrate our anniversary, and Evan and Jean provided exceptional service helping to make the experience, certainly, one of the best we ever had at a vineyard. Both gentlemen should be commended for their hard work and attention to detail.

While the staff takes everyone s safety into consideration through an organized and orderly manner, they are sure to preserve and offer a genuinely pleasant environment.

The service and ambiance was excellent. They are very thoughtful with social distancing...tables are spread out and thoroughly sanitized. Great selection of sparkling wines.

Great service, great ambience, great wine and a great selection of cheeses. After having our tasting flight, we stayed and sampled some "off menu" wines what were all amazing. Best vineyard on the North Fork by far (assuming you like sparkling wines)

Awesome sparkling wines and beautiful patio. We enjoyed a tasting outside on the patio for our first vineyard visit in Covid times. Making a reservation online was super easy and the check in process was great as well. Couldn't have asked for nicer staff and a perfect day!
As an added bonus they welcomed us with a taste of their Brut which was definitely our favorite.

Let me preface this review by saying, this is the FIRST time I've ever left a review about a place. Why? Because I read the 1 star review posted before me and honestly it *almost* impacted my decision on keeping my reservation.

SO glad I took that with a grain of salt- sounds like they are miserable wherever they go XD. If you're going to complain about paying for a bill every time you go out, just buy a bottle from Walmart and drink in your kitchen! LOL!!

I've been to quite a couple of different wineries post COVID, and Sparkling Pointe not only cares about their guests but also protecting their incredible staff! Visiting this winery is reservation ONLY, which took a total of 1 minute to do on their website. In their website and when booking the reservation it has all of their COVID policies written out CLEARLY. It's super noticeable that these "club members" failed to do their part and read the policies. I read them, and knew EXACTLY what to expect for my visit! Aka- a 75 minute (or 1 hour and 15 minutes) per visit so other guests also have the opportunity of visiting the winery. They also ask you to hold off on taking pictures until you're all done and then can take pictures on the lawn in front of the vines. It's important to remember that there are other humans that work in the vines so I applaud this vineyard for thinking about their safety over a minor inconvenience of not being able to take pictures in the vines in that location!!

Glasses are reasonably price for champagne, and the flights are on the more expensive side. Again, champagne is one thing and regular wine is another. Highly recommend looking at their menu on their website so you don't look like a fool when you try to order a bottle when they only offer glasses or tastings LOLLLLL. Our server was so friendly and happy to interact with all of our questions about the Methode Champs. And Yes, while I do agree the masks can get some getting use to, we were not bother and more than HAPPY to make sure our waitress felt comfortable because we're out and about by choice, when they are there to work!

Wines: Since it was our first time, we all decided that we would try all of their wines by doing the two set of flights they offer. The flagship has slightly sweeter wines (a dry white, a semi-sweet rose, and another white that reminded me of Prosecco!) while the prestige flight showcased their premium high end wines that were all dry! My favorites was the Carnaval Rose and the 2010 Brut Seduction! Took home 2 of each can't wait to open them!!

Food: Heard of the infamous "Cuomo chips"?! Well that also applies to wineries and breweries too! They had an assortment of snacks like mixed nuts, chocolates, chips, caviar, and CHEEEESE YUM!! We went with the cheese board that came with a blueberry jam and honey. Our waitress recommended using them both with the soft cheeses which was spectacular! Ended up taking home a large jar of that Lavender Honey!

We will definitely be back thanks to their FRIENDLY staff, their DELICIOUS champagne, the PICTURESQUE terrance, and most importantly because they CARE about keeping OUR community SAFE and made us feel safe!

Vineyard tasting/dining room segment. Romantic, comfy decor. Great service. Prices and portions on par for the segment. There was a good selection of food. These paired well with their wines. Had the sparkling wine tasting, Dark Horse Restaurant duck pate and tomatoe chutney (pic).

What more is there to say, best sparkling wine around. Been a member for 4 years now and they keep us coming back with great service and an even better atmosphere.

Simply amazing vineyard,the view the atmosphere the delicious sparkling selections make you want to stay all day.It's perfection in one location.....You want to sample all there delicious appetizers that pair perfectly with their wines.

Great sparkling wines and perfectly matched with local dairies and charcuterie, the four fowles cheese with some raw or lavender honey is great and you also have to try the truffle cheese is awesome.

This is the place if you like naturally carbonated sparkling wines. Lots of variation in the tasting flights. It's a must stop if you are hopping vinyards.

It's definitely look and price like a higher end winery given a tasting of 4 cost $20. But to be fair, they are the only one that specialize in sparkling wine, plus their vibe is pretty elegant and classy. If you want to impress someone, this ought to be one of the choice within your list.

Wonderful atmosphere with pleasant professional wait staff. Amazingly delicious wine tastings. Each one we sampled tasted better than the other. And the live music added to the wonderful ambience.

In my opinion, this is a must-visit from North Fork. Their $17 tasting of the 4 sparkling wines are all delicious. I love the architecture of the building and the Carnival/Brazilian theme in the modern white hall. Everything is just so photogenic and well lit. I personally love their new red sparkling wine. Note that if you buy 2 bottles, you get the tasting for free.

Great staff and environment. You can walk through the vineyard and bring your drinks along with you. Superb customer service, always with a smile.

Visited this vineyard this past weekend and could not have been more impressed. GM Michael Falsetta is on top of EVERYTHING and makes sure every expectation is met. Owners Cynthia and Tom are "hands on" in the vineyard and I was so impressed - I joined their wine club today. Strongest recommendation... . Salute!!

A piece of heaven this is the place to be. The ambiance is super serene the service first to non. We have been this several wineries in LI and this place is just fantastic not only with the wine selection but with the service. A must go. Will not be disappointed.
