It is sometimes incomprehensible how some Fletcher Hotels get their reviews. We are at a 4 star location Spaarnwoude, what a terribly dated location and that is euphemistically expressed, actually an old mess almost right next to the A9. Huge noise and exhaust fumes in a so-called nature reserve! Not really recommended.

Really the dirtiest hotel I have ever been to. Mold in every corner and the beds smelly. We ate in the restaurant the first night but the wait staff did not come to bring us menus or provide drinks. After a long wait, we took the menus from a pile and then walked to the counter for our order. The burger menu cost 15 euros. It was not worth 4 euros. Worst burger ever with chips that were fried for half a minute: literally raw potatoes. Dirty. Even for the bill, I walked to the counter after a long wait. Bye, see you again.
This is really too thin for a 4-star hotel. The location is beautiful but the staff knows how to bring this down. Unfriendly, just not answering a question. Room is spacious, nice view, but no fridge for example. Also very noisy. There is a group that gets all the attention. O don't you belong to that? No, I just wanted to drink a cappuccino.
Room worn out, so absolutely ready for renovation! Cleanliness on the last level! When addressing the staff there was no reaction! We were accommodated there for work and it was not cleaned on any day of the week!
Stayed at this hotel last weekend with my partner. Located behind A9, but you hear little or nothing of it. Beautiful surroundings and on the water. Helped very nicely upon our arrival. The receptionist was friendly and told us about the hotel and the associated things in peace. Room was good. No more, but certainly no less. Room smells fresh and is clean. Beds fine, pillow on the soft side. Bathroom looks clean, here and there some corners where some painting is needed. Balcony overlooking the water. Breakfast also has an adequate, something for everyone. Fresh products are also constantly being replenished. Check out simple and fast. In short, a good address for an overnight stay.
Poor service and we got a room in a lost corner "stepped" room where it was hot and the window barely on and could. We went right away but did not get money back even not from the unused breakfast.Kortom service, customer service, entourage seriously insufficient in our eyes.Hotel Akersloot was a real relief after the Fletcher debacle.
In the evening there was no one at the counter or behind the bar .. but like at 9 o'clock no longer. And some employees clearly have no pleasure in what they do.
The location is beautiful, but the hotel itself is faded glory. It all looks a bit creaky. Staff are friendly and work hard, but it doesn't stand out. We were in room 2 behind a wedding room. Very noisy because of the thin walls. Both above and next to us we could literally follow the conversations. Room was also really small while we were told it was an upgrade. Wonder how the rooms are without upgrading. 1x for us but not again.
If you can imagine a hotel from Russia in the 1980's, you've probably got a good idea of what this place looks like. No plugs in the room next to the beds, decor from the post war USSR - most of which looks like it's seen heavy use - light switches are not next to the bed, the list goes on and on.
The beds are comfy, the rooms are quiet, but it's still next to a major A-road so it's not deathly quiet, but if you want any mod-cons from 1970's Western nations onward, forget about it, this place doesn't even have AC.
Nice sports hotel, unfortunately pretty close to the highway. Dogs are allowed, as in all restaurants in Holland for hygienic reasons, not pure. The rooms are large, and nicely decorated. But there are many things that need a renovation. The staff is nice but not attentive. Gluten-free food possible.
I did not spend the night there, but just ate. We did not get any attention from the wait staff (get menu cards themselves, order drinks inside) while it was very quiet. The service also very ignorant about the menu More
Downright bad! Rooms mwah, bed hard, small, dinner very bad can not mention anything good, breakfast fine but no more than that, bar missing, atmosphere absent
Incredibly small room, had to pay extra for the 4 stars of this hotel. This hotel is entitled to a maximum of 3 stars. Upon entering it immediately shows how dirty it is, the toilet was full of urine, there was not even flushed. the petite waste bin was too dirty to look at, full of dirty stains and rust. In the room it was already 27 degrees Celsius. Totally unworthy of a normal hotel. A nice terrace but a lot of noise from the national road. If you think the national road away it could be idyllic. Before showering there were 2 towels, we later found 2 more in the closet. The towels were the smallest size there is, 80 by 40 centimeters. We have also indicated this, answer was that something went wrong at the laundry but just as nice they let you pay more for the alleged 4 stars. In a word a disaster, never again to Fletcher. Reported what we found.
Enjoyed a night out with my daughter (11). Nice swimming, delicious breakfast, extremely friendly staff. The only drawback: difficult to reach by public transport. (Half an hour to the bus stop)
Incredibly warm room. The fan could not change that. Hearing too, I heard that my neighbor used the snooze function of the alarm clock. Service in restaurant could be better. We sat with a group at the table and it wasn't even asked if we wanted something to drink with dinner. Cappuccino at breakfast buffet is possible, but you have to make 2 devices. Scary spiral staircase towards room. Very handy with a heavy suitcase ... The whole looks dated.
Dated room. Well spacious, neat, clean and good bed. Great to get warm and nice view. Friendly staff. Jammet that pool (due to swimming lessons children from the area) could not be used by guests.
Super service ... upon arrival super friendly reception. Staff so friendly and serious but also a lot of humor. Had very relaxed days there. Food super tasty compliments to the chef.
Appetizer bread pie not like on the menu. Would be with red onion chutney and caramelized apples. White raw onions and raw apples Asked my ribeye raw and got it more than well done. Then I ask for coffee with cognac and I get wiskey . Unfortunately, everything was said under guise of too busy. Too bad Fletcher. 1 person ran his balls out of his pants while a colleague of his was digging out of his nose. Unacceptable for one big bill that we have tapped. We are not used to this from you.
The hotel looks in real not so big as in the pictures, which is not bad. The rooms could use a new carpet I would say for my liking, because they look worn out, but not run down, so not holey or broken or something. Unfortunately, the shower is probably saved in which you have the water pressure of the shower extremely down regulated? The beds are completely ok and adequate. The balcony which looks like the outer facade of wood looks quite old, would sometimes take a treatment so say the wood sanding. The staff is very friendly, so they really do their job right. The breakfast buffet is also good. There are coffee, juices, scrambled eggs, bacon, cereals, cheese slices, cold meats, boiled eggs, white rolls brown rolls, milk rolls, raisin bread, all sorts of spreads such as Nutella, honey, jam, etc. Fruit of course. Altogether richly covered buffet.
A well-hidden hotel, without navigation a bit hard to find. We had a large room that had not been renovated (December 2018). Renovated rooms are available. Our room could definitely use a renovation, bathroom reasonably worn out. The walls in the room could use a paint, lampshades with stains. In addition to the spacious bed, a large closet with sufficient choice of different pillows and thick or somewhat thinner duvets. The restaurant section can also use a boost. The coffee machines with taped buttons to make sure that functions didn't work. The fruit drinks machine had a faulty orange juice button. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately we could not put our bags away before the rooms were ready. From the free parking you have to walk a bit to the hotel. With bad weather a disadvantage. We also slept well. The breakfast was adequate.
Nice hotel great location in a quiet area. Beds there soft no support and the breakfast you should not expect too much. Super nice staff and nice rooms.
It is an ok hotel, some outdated rooms with few sockets (with all the mobile devices of today not very handy). Very nice breakfast and very friendly staff.
Dated hotel would have been renovated in early 2018, but now in June 2018 none of the marked rooms with damp spots in the ceiling are outdated sanitary furniture. Bed was good Breakfast scanty choice for 4 stars. Price 132.00 far exceeded for one night.
January 2019. Very nice and quiet hotel, nice and spacious lobby. We had suite, very nice and clean room. Bathroom was also very clean. Staff were nice to us despite the fact that we came through a promotion / offer and so had no dinner / breakfast. SUPER! Swimming pool in the hotel is free, also nice but nothing special, nice to open / close the day with.
Brilliant hotel Fairly large pool with warmer water. Open entrance with grand piano and a very nice new design. Rooms are very, very nice Only some things have scratches, or you can see the usage Shower and bathtub in one You can always get enough towels at the front desk BUT THE LOCATION IS THE BEST! Idyllic location surrounded by a lake in which you can swim well with your dog, even if it is not that deep, but swimming is allowed and possible. In addition, it is quiet all around and the sea is only 20 minutes away restaurant You can eat in the hotel at any time, until midnight and the food is delicious too Breakfast is varied, fresh orange juice ... You can eat as much as you want. The view from the room is also very nice, of the rear part of the lake and the woods all around. An elevator is also available and in total only a little more than twenty rooms can be sold, that means that there is always peace ... Nice, responsive staff.
