Southwood realty co. Review

*Update* Amy at Southwood and I have come to a compromised over thus situation. She made this horrible situation a little better......I paid rent with in the approved time frame given by Southwood Realty. The payment was rejected by error on their end. I have 2 statements from the bank that it was rejected by the company (Southwood Realty)not them. I have provided the statements and the bank statement showing the daily balance and this company still refuses to do the right thing and remove the charges! They have just settled a million dollar lawsuit for doing false charges just like this and they continue to do this fraudulent practice. I have filed a claim with the BBB and the Housing Authority.

Just moved in to Walden Landing from day one it was a problem. Lease was not ready to be signed while movers where in trucks. Infested with fruit flies balcony had layers of bird droppings from upstairs nest. Was told other tenants had more pressing needs! And corporate never returns calls. Do not rent here unfortunately I was pressed for time. Make this your last resort

I live here for 2 years now! They are always adding amenities. And really stay on top of the property.

Slumlord's, plain and simple. They don't take the issue of mold seriously, and if you complain too much about things that need repaired or replaced, they have no problem using retaliatory tactics to get you out of your home. The rent is raised at least 25.00 a year, but no updates are ever done for the tenants who have been there for years. I took great pride in my home for the nearly seven years I was there, but Southwood Realty never took pride in the property, and they've gotten worse with each passing year.

I have worked for Southwood for over 3 years. The training team and corporate office are wonderful. Never once was I belittled for asking the same questions over. People are individuals and most of the on-site people I worked with were wonderful. I always felt well supported and did my best to give my residents the best home possible. Although I m moving on to a new adventure, I ll always be thankful to Southwood Realty!

They do not answer calls professionally. They will hang up in your face. This company will throw away your washer and dryers after telling them the schedule pick up. You do not and I repeat do not want to live in their apartments. They rather you remain in a dangerous situation to keep making money rather than to help. I do not recommend this company at all.

Their apartments are slums. They don't respond to repair calls. Overpriced slumlords that will threaten eviction when you pay on time, but refuse to seal windows or replace broken appliances.

I have been employed with Southwood Realty for 3 years and I have to say it is by far the best team I have ever been apart of! I have several friends who live in Southwood properties who love everything about the service and quality of living. If you are ever looking for a new place make sure to go with the best! :)

This company is the worst the only important for them is money never will come to fix anything the employees so bad i live in the columbia location feom the first day they came every one compline the complex so dirty the manger there is the biggest lier the pool its all outside residents the car got broke in dont come to this location i have my friend do YouTube i will be sure she makes special video to show everything in this property

Southwood has been highly exceptional in educating their employees and working to maintain high quality standards within their communities.
