Superb architecture and interesting chapter house. Considering the tools they had, and their age, the leaves are just amazing

Very interesting 900 years old Minster & Cathedral of Nottinghamshire. Well worth a visit if you're in the area. Has a number of interesting artifacts and features. The architecture is Gothic and Romanesque. The choir stalls have amazing wood carvings from the middle of the 19th century. They are a range of woodland animals and foliage carved with amazing skill. Near the choir stalls there's a large brass eagle lectern which if I remember correctly was made in Holland or Belgium at the beginning of the 16th century.

Beautiful building! We came here for the Christmas craft fair and it had over 70 stallholders! Friendly volunteers and lots of effort made to make it a brilliant craft fair. The village is always stunning!

Totally beautiful building and well worth a visit. The grounds are fantastic. Be sure to check out the Educational garden at the rear of the Minster. Minster is beautiful, great stained glass and lovely organ. Also has a great tea room in the grounds serving good food and drinks.

Beautiful Minster , really interesting , we called to pass some time on our way to somewhere else but we will be returning this year to spend more time there .

Went for the Tower Tour. Led by Mr Corner: very knowledgeable and informative. Well worth a visit.
I understand Mrs Corner was busy doing the Minster Tour too. Friends from church said that was excellent also.

Amazing place. A perfectly preserved cathedral with the archbishop's house in the park. It's impressive. For this walk in the episcopal gardens in the neighborhood of the ruins. Worth seeing.

Lovely and interesting Minster. Old fashioned town centre without national chains and some tasty places to eat.

Marvellous building, dating back to Saxon period, charter granted by King Eadwig who had a very lively coronation (Google it )

Was there for an ordination. Lovely building and service.

The Minster, while smaller, had architecture equivalent to much larger places like Lincoln and Salisbury. The greeting volunteers were very keen and helpful. I think it's well worth a visit.

A relatively unheard of gem that boasts some fantastic historical connections to important past events and well-preserved architecture. Staff are helpful and the gardens are beautifully laid out.
