ALERT to new moms! Southside Medical no longer offers breast pumps. I ordered mine months ago in preparation for baby coming and followed up today given that she should be here in 6 short weeks. No call to inform me of this, all they said is that it wasn't ordered and they are no longer offering them, and they offered no apologies for their lack of customer care.
SERIOUSLY? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I just called to see what the cost of a box of 100 Tegaderm bandages was and I was quoted that they sell them at the single rate of $1.61 each or a Box of 100 which = $161.00 I went online and got the same bandage from a medical supply place in New York City for $50 for a box of 100.
They dont deserve any star. They are very rude. they treat customers as if they owns them. We went there for a postpartum belt . they said they dont have it in stock and they can order it for us and claimed will get it in a weeks time.. Its been 3 weeks now and still we didnt get the belt. whenever we called to check the status , the person answering the phone was very rude and never gave any proper answer.
They are very slow to answer the phone. I have been on hold for about 10 minutes. Their supplies for catheters is always on back order and I don't always recieve the correct supplies. It is extremely cumbersome to order products and when you do place an order you can expect to call at least once or twice to see where the supplies are just to find out they never placed the order. I would definately recommend using another company if possible.
If you are interested in speaking to rude people, ones that can't smile, people that are not concerned with wasting your time, making you wait unnecessarily-- Go to Southside Medical Supply on South Clinton Ave in Rochester, NY. These people act all high and mighty they sit and talk and tell you to sign in on a clip board, and wait. They make everyone waste their time. If you call them they put you on hold and go back to their conversations with co-workers. They are not there for their customer. They are totally rude and if you are in a hurry and have other things to do, don't bother going there. Most places that want business treat their customer with respect. These people all say no I can't help you you'll have to wait, sign in, and have a seat. Even if you are just there to pick up a package that is pre-paid. I asked to just have it handed to me and was told no sit and wait behind the 4 people in the waiting room. They lie about what needed to be done to just hand it to me, saying it had to go through insurance-- the sale already went through insurance when ordered. They just wanted me to wait longer and try to demean me. They should really should get a new crew there, ones that actually care for their fellow human beings. These people are awful human beings. Take your business to ANY OTHER medical supply place, don't go to this place unless you too want the stress and headache and anxiety I suffered.
Very disappointed that I called in to check on an order placed two days ago and was informed that AS OF THIS MORNING there was a company directive to stop providing this product. I understand business decisions, but to NOT close out an order already in process?! AND I was not called about this and had to call and find this out? Very disappointed.
it would be great if someone answered the phone ever. which they never do.
