This place is incompetent they picked up a shipment on July second guaranteed it to be next day for July 3rd. The dispatcher nor the driver had enough common sense to tell the shipper that they where closed on the 3rd for the holiday. So I did not receive my shipment till the 6th which I refused and sent back to the warehouse. Then I call on Monday and the customer service representative hangs up on me. I will never ship anything with them again.

Wonderful experience! My wife ordered an expedited "next day" pallet of tile that was crucial to the completion of our bathroom remodel. After speaking with the dispatcher at the COL service center that morning and a call from the delivery driver 30 minutes prior to delivery it was very easy to coordinate a link up and sign for or pallet. Great customer service and will definitely use SEFL in the future!

SEFL can't seem to figure out if their employees are peasants or lab rats!

Where to begin? I only rated 1 star because the service won't allow me to give SEFL any less. Terrible communication, despite repeated contact from me over the course of 8 months (business related shipments). Each and every person wants to place the blame on someone else. My invoices clearly state "CALL TO SCHEDULE DELIVERY APPT" and "need liftgate" and yet somehow each and every delivery is a complete fiasco- from the cost of freight, to NOT calling for appt, to no liftgate, to someone actually telling me "they told me to pull your shipment off the truck". (Who is "they"? and why are they telling you this? and why are you telling me this when the last person said my shipment *was* on the truck?) Don't rely on Justin Self in the Customer non-Service dept at corporate to help, either. He'll just use "they" and "them" frequently and pass blame around, until he blames you, his customer. In fact he blamed me despite proof on my invoices that everything I said was the truth, I had dates and names, and voice mails proving the employees in the Durham depot were lying. I'll be speaking to the owners next. I realize I'm just one very small customer, but your customer service is the worst. And now my largest supplier knows it, as well. They're not such a small customer...

Worked for this great company in the 1990 s when a Dallas location was the connection to the Southwest. Now in 2020 - as I travel - I see terminals and trucks practically nationwide! Wonderful, friendly folks at Columbia Home Office. Had the honor of meeting them when I made the President s Club first member in Southwest Region and received my award on-site there at Columbia. I drive by it on I-20 everyday. I have never been here, and have no idea why my GPS pinged it...

Southeastern Freight Lines is where my son works. Located in West Columbia/Lexington SC. Every so often I will drive a little under two hours from my home in the upstate of SC to have lunch with him there. When you first walk through the door and into the lobby, a beautiful statue of Jesus washing the feet of one of His disciples greets all employees and visitors. The Bible verse from Matthew in the New Testament when Jesus says: If a person asks you to go one mile with him, then go two miles with him, is located near on the statue.
This place of business is remarkable and family owned. I know how well they have treated my son and I am thankful that when my son returned from a tour in Afghanistan in 2011, Southeastern Freight Lines actively pursued his employment. They are just good people, not ashamed of their faith.
