I think this college in itself is an amazing school, however the financial aid office has been the hardest people to work with. I have had to email them on 5 different occasions just for them to actually get my information finished. Now that they took their sweet time doing so, I am at the point where I am going to be late on paying for classes. I may even be dropped from my classes because they took too long to get back to me with information that was needed from them. I would not recommend this college, or at least going through the financial aid aspect of this school. The one office has made the experience with the school next to unbearable.

I graduated from this college and have no regrets in attending this school. Fantastic professors who cared about me as a person, wonderful programs & easy to navigate campus. Highly recommend!

Takes 6 months to get your degree after numerous phone calls and emails to numerous people. I expect this mediocrity from Tech or UT not here, not impressed. Waiting 6 months for my degree that is not even legal size of 8 by 11 has left a bad taste in my mouth.

The bookstore has no customer service in a place where you need to have high priority for customer service. Go anywhere for your books, except this bookstore. They don't care about the college students here that pay their salaries.

The people there are extremely friendly -- teachers and students -- and the quality of education is superb. I feel like I have learned much more effectively in my classes than I did at Texas Tech.

Incorrect address for South Plains College. The main address is 1400 College Avenue; Levelland, TX 79336. The address listed above is for a satellite campus and as such gives wrong directions to get to the main campus.

I'm seriously about to pull out of all my classes and transfer to Tech, I thought this would be a good starter school, as I come from Amarillo & there is an AMAZING community college there. But this school is just awful, I've literally went here 1 semester, I'm a single mother and have been out of school for almost 6 years. The office staff are always rude and rush me in and out, even when it's not busy!! I always seem to get the run around and am offered NO additional help. Don't get me started on how they've screwed me over already by making me purchase 2 books for 1 class and wouldn't accept my return, and then I had a teacher fail to input my correct grade and now has to file a grade change form to fix it. (Still made the Dean's list though ) I'm not even upset with the teachers, they are overworked and underpaid. The office staff however is lazy and unproffessional. DO NOT GO HERE. It is a waste of money and doesnt even deserve government funding.

Cafeteria is just straight awful. breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner, Everyday. Any protein they cook don t matter if it s chicken, turkey, steak or whatever, good luck swallowing it, it s so damn dry and nasty. My high school cafe was way better. The pizza is straight up disgusting as well!

After 2 years of getting accepted in program, I was denied my degree because of negligence on the staff, and worse I had to pay to get my transcript to transfer to Texas Tech after SPC denied me a degree because of my disability. Staff takes too long to resolve issues, and 9 months later I still have not heard back not even an apology. Dont waste time here, go straight to tech if you can. Advisers do not care for you to graduate, they just want your money. At tech they keep tabs on you to make sure you graduate. SPC grad rate is awful compared to universities. Again dont waste your time and money go straight to tech if you can!

I graduated from here before transferring to Texas Tech, and I so enjoyed my experience. SPC is about a third of the price of Tech, and the quality of the education is very high. Being that it is a small school, the professors take the time to get to know you and work with you which, in my experience, helps set you up for academic success. Plus, the gym has good equipment and the cafeteria food is actually really appetizing.

I am a returning student to SPC. My first time around was very smooth sailing and easy to navigate. This semester back however has been almost a nightmare. I have had a very hard time getting straight answers from the Financial Aid office all semester. I finally just paid out of pocket for my classes and then decided to request a loan for Fall semester. I have never done this before so I needed help knowing how to go about this. Any time I emailed the Financial Aid office I would only get one response even if I would still have questions that needed to be answered. I almost missed my student loan acceptance letter because there wasn't any notification.
