Big portions of delicious Nasi Lemak. If you're multiple people, consider splitting a set and adding on other dishes.

Is the 400% premium over $2.50 nasi lemak wrapped in newspaper & pandan leaves justified? Yes - I really think the chefs here did their darndest to make everything best-in-class (the rice, the fish/meats, the gravy, and even the desserts). Not just for wannabe hipsters and yuppies.
Great Nasi Lemak with delicious samplers and ambience
Went with a friend, the two of us got a table immediately on a weekday night. It was not packed but fairly occupied. We ordered 2 nasi lemak dishes and it arrived quickly. The portion was quite big and filling enough, especially the chicken. Everything tasted great. However, I don't think it's worth the price tag. You are paying more for ambience and location than the food. Good for a stroll around the area afterwards, and find a place for post-drinks.
We were here 23rd May, 2pm & we d like to commend the staff for their excellent service. I m vegetarian and they really tried to accommodate to that even though they didn t have much vegetarian items on the menu. The food was excellent as usual! :)
Nasi Lemak was super average, not worth the price. Cendol was not authentic. Completely not worth the hype and queue.
Worth every penny though it's probably best to skip a meal on that day so you can finish everything! Chendol was really yummy too
The Nasi Lemak is exceptional. More expensive than your usual fare but every element was perfect. Beautifully cooked rice,. Excellent fried chicken, crispy ikan bilis and spicy thick sambal! We had the sambal lala, sayur lodeh and finished with the cendol- all very good. Highly recommend.
Fantastic food - best nasi lemak I had in Singapore. The sambal cuttlefish was also fantastic, very spicy but completely bearable (with some water) and delicious.
Also great to finish off lunch with a lovely chendol to cool off the spice.
Overall great experience at a great price. Only complaint is the long queue, but that is a running theme for good food in Singapore I feel.
The reason why I frequently come here is for their specialty nasi lemak. Spicy clams which were very fresh and some fish in curry sauce is also a must try! Staff was friendly, approachable and professional. I am always having a great lunch experience here
Clean. Rendang, fried chicken and otah was good. Rice slightly lacking in "lemak" fragrance.
Really fantastic "new style" nasi lemak joint. Whilst some may poo poo paying $12 for a plate of NL, don't knock it till you try it. The chicken is amazing and if they have fish that day, order it. Be prepared for a wait tho!!!
Service is fantastic and vibe is great which makes this place worth the extra $$.
Will go there once only the nasi lemak is so so only, still prefer going to Changi village Hawkers ctr for Nasi lemak fix at slight half the price. More for angmo who have too much money or have not tasted real Nasi lemak
Great food and always loved going there for the delicious coconut rice and amazing sambals but they recently removed them from the menu, and portions have also decreased in size. It s a pity.
Chicken is tender. Coconut rice was average. Pretty pricey place for nasi lemak.
This is one of the restaurant listed in the Singapore Michelin Guide.
The coconut club has appear in social media quite often and finally I drop by to have lunch together with my colleagues this afternoon.
The queue for the lunch hours can up to 30-45mins, so I would suggest just go over before 12pm to avoid the crowd if possible.
Nasi Lemak is a must try dish in this restaurant, as simple as that. You can have it either chicken or fish, I am not so sure about beef as the waitress never mention and I m not beef taker.
No doubts, nasi lemak is one of the best in Singapore, pretty well cooked and the chicken was crispy and tender!
Their side dishes was fantastic as well, more to peranakan style.
Overall, the food was awesome and I will think the price is reason against the quality of food that you are having.
First time having nasi lemak in Singapore. I couldn t help feeling that this place is a bit overrated. The food was ok nothing worth coming back for. Don t really understand the hype. Have had better at random no name places in Indonesia
Great food, great service and great atmosphere. This lively restaurant serves the best Nasi Lemak I ve eaten. The chicken is delicious. There are lots of tasty side dishes, all cooked to perfection. Lots of spice and flavour. The owner takes lots of pride in his food service and presentation. Staff seem to enjoy working there. Give this place a try, you won t be disappointed.
Lost those their touch food-wise.
Seems like all the food and platings are done in advance as well.
I remember they use to be so serious QC ing before each plate is presented. Now feel like mere a economic nasi lemak stall.
Staffs still friendly and cheerful though
Used to frequent the place whenever friends comes to town. Proud of the food. A place serving fabulous local gourmet, but now......sad....
Simple and specialised. If only I could recreate at home. My Grab driver has informed me a lot of
TLC goes into ensuring the flavours pop in every direction.
One of the best nasi lemaks in Singapore. The price seems a bit steep but the quality of food makes it worth every cent. I've been here twice and I enjoyed my dinner immensely both times. Highly recommended! The long bean stir-fried in hae bee hiam also super shiok!!
I love to give the 5 stars but there s something short .. the otak is kind of dry in my view and the assam pedas snapper is average. The chicken leg was good as well as the sambal lala. The rice is quite well cooked and chili sambal taste great.. not too sweet. They gave generous fried anchovies and peanuts too. The chendol is exceptionally good ... service is TOP notch and everyone work here so happily. Small waiting time during peak meal time... will comeback to try the fried fish and spicy squid again.
This is, hands-down, one of the best places to get Nasi Lemak. It is pricier than your typical hawker but way worth it. The chicken perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Rice is warm and fragrant. The Sambal is on the spicier side (which I love!) and the fried egg is just the perfect icing on the cake.
Two signature dishes appeared in almost all tables, nasi lemak and grilled sotong. Very friendly staffs. We share our one portion and the staff automatically serve with two side plates and cutlery.
Overhyped. Chicken is just fried chicken and the otak is undercooked. Nice atmosphere and decent service. Come early if you would like to avoid the queues. The desserts are awesome, it is just the main dish and start of the show that is sadly, underwhelming...
Nasi Lemak berempah is delicious with good cost. Well served and fast.
Chicken and Sambal is heavenly + great friendly staff
Solid food, but cannot really understand the hype. You don't have to try it.
Employees eat from the plates in the open kitchen and the guests see it - that's not possible!
Very tasty the chicken was amazing delicious!! A bit pricey but still will recommend to friends for a try.
The food is great and the staff are friendly and helpful. The sambal is killer!!
The price might be a bit pricey but the taste and amount of meat served are really good and make it worthed.
Nasi lemak is great, rendang is nice and the chendol is awesome.
The nasi lemak is very flavorful, strong essence of the taste & alike chicken rice. Chendol and malay kueh highly recommended.
Decadent nasi lemak. Friendly staff. Serves alcohol.
Great food with coconut base. Expect to pay $25 for main and a dessert.
Service was excellent, food came prompt as expected, rice is fragrant, chicken leg was done perfect both in and out, chilli wasn't too spicy and not too sweet (unlike most other places which have this problem with their chilli).
Make no mistake though, this is not priced to be enjoyed everyday, but for the occasional treat, and what a treat it was! The otak (no picture) was excellent as well with a citrusy taste that is quite delightful. Can't wait to come back to try the other dishes they have.
Loved how they turned my favorite childhood dish into this classic. Sometimes the chef would come out with some kueh (Malay pastries) for you to pick, I enjoyed that little surprise.
Amazing food and customer service. Delicious nasi lemak and cute young waiters who kept throwing in freebies. We got free otak-otak, chendol and kueh salat.
Feels like a healthier version of Nasi Lemak that s as good as Punggol Nasi Lemak. The chendol is probably one of the best I ve tried.
The sambal sotong is really good and the tempeh tahu is fragrant.
Nasi lemak is delicious - the chicken is well marinated and tender, rice is full of coconut fragrance, sambal is to die for!
Tea is so-so only, tasted more like evaporated milk water than milk tea.
Actually stuck between 4 and 5 stars because it's premium nasi lemak, it's definitely worth every cent, the otah and chendol are both oh-so very heavenly...... but it's the rice that could have been slightly better.
Just giving review for the rice cause everything else was awesome. You could taste/smell the "coconut-ness" of the rice but for me, it wasn't quite strong enough. I personally prefer fragrant rice that could literally fill your taste buds and sense of smell.
Yet giving 5 stars for this review because I still loved the food. Big thanks to the masterminds :)
Good generous portions, sambal is incredible! They ran out of the leg portion so we got chicken breast (some parts were a little dry, but the skin was fried to perfection). It s a bit of a wait (we came around 2pm on a Saturday but still waited a good 30min - to get a table + for food to be served), and prices are not cheap, but it s worth it!
My downstairs makcik makes better nasi and I had better sambal in crave. Too much hype, too little substance.
Superb service by the crews and the nasi lemak free flow is Awesome. Sambal sotong is a must to order here.
When you hear there's a new place in town that sells one dish and does it well, you know you have to try it.
Stellar service, hip ambience and air-conditioned seating. The food is a decent, generous plate of Nasi Lemak.
Won't be the best a Singaporean would have tried, and certainly way above the price we're used to at hawker centres.
But if you want to eat a good plate of Nasi Lemak and you're willing to fork over the money, give this place a try.
Excellent meal. TASTY ! I will definitely return :)
Basically the most delicious Nasi Lemak. You must go. The nicest service too.
The nasi lemak here is pretty decent. While some may think $12.80 steep for nasi lemak, the portions are pretty generous. The service is friendly, and I like the ambience - the place is spacious, brightly-lit, and it's a comfortable place to hang out with friends. (Side note: It was not crowded when I was there, and I didn't have to queue, so that helps.) I give it 4 stars, instead of 5, because my heart will always belong to the Boon Lay "Power" nasi lemak
Famous restaurant in China Town area. Only 1 menu is served here (but it is a damn good one) which is Nasi Lemak (Malay fragrant rice cooked in the coconut milk and pandan leaves, served with chicken, nuts, eggs, and others). The restaurant also receives Michelin Guide Recommendations.
Friendly and helpful staff. Price is acceptable.
Restaurant is quite small and will absolutely be crowded around lunch time.
Strongly recommend.
This place gets packed really quickly, so try to get in early if you don't want to wait. The nasi was wonderfully fragrant and delicious. But the star of the plate was undoubtedly the chicken..oh and the sambal! Beautifully crispy, and perfectly spicy. Don't forget to order extra chicken and fish-cake.
Went there for their famous nasi lemak. Side dishes such as beef rendang and sambal sotong are good.
Need to reserve in advance.
Really worth a visit, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable, the building and decor are lovely, the cocktails are perfect, and the food is just amazing
Portion size was just right. Chili and egg was great, ikan bilis (fried anchovies) was not salty like those in hawkers. The rice could have had more coconut flavor to it though.
DELICIOUS. Sure, the chicken is good. The rice is incredible (full of rich coconut flavor). But what really blew me away was the beef rib. It was succulent and exploded with complex flavor in every bite. I don t think I ve had a better beef rib anywhere in the world, even in Texas.
One of the better Nasi Lemak in Singapore . A bit costly but worth a try.
Absolutely delicious Nasi Lemak and amazing calamansi juice! Loved it!
Chicken and otak-otak were delicious. Chili sambal was good (with quite a kick). Portion was just right. Service was friendly and fast.
overpriced tourist trap. the nasi lemak is nothing special. the chicken meat is hardy and looks like not properly cooked. the staffs are unfriendly and seem to rush everybody to order. the cashier play with his phone when we are paying and we have to wait until he's done with his business before he attend to us.
Average tasting nasi lemak for high prices. Great place to eat if you have money to burn.
They serve only one main, but it's worth it. Gordon Ramsey always says, keep the menu simple. Can't get any simpler. They excel in what they do. It's the best nasi lemak you will ever have. Only 4 star because the beer pricing doesn't make sense. But the food is amazing and the waiters are just as good. Definitely a must try if you are in Singapore.
Fragrant coconut rice but the other ingredients fall short of its price and bib gourmand status. Not worth a repeat visit as queuing is still required for this place
Apart from the nasi lemak, be sure to try the assam fish. Out of this world!
Nasi lemak lacks a little in the rice department, but the rest makes up for it. Located in a picturesque part of town too.
Average nasi lemak at three times the price. Wouldn t mind if the ambience and service surpassed my expectations but it did not.
Food is average in taste but comes in huge portion (which is probably commensurate with the price).
It s a popular place if u crave for nasi lemak. It s also a very expensive nasi lemak restaurant. This is the only nasi lemak that I ve forgotten the existence of the sambal, normally sambal is my first impression of the nasi lemak. Firstly is because the sambal squid took over the taste, the sambals are quite similar but still can taste a bit different. Secondly is the fried chicken, can see it s carefully fried without burn taste, and it s marinated with some spices that make it tasty. Finally come to the rice, steamed with a hint of coconut milk, not too strong and still can smell the aroma from the rice.
This is Nasi Lemak done right. Every element was made with care, and they even with GF sambal. I can t even tell you where the gluten is in sambal but they can. Incredible
Expected the food to be of quality taste as per the price charge.
Waiters could be a little more attentive n not so forgetful with the orders(drinks) maybe it was the crowd?
Good nasi lemak. Fried Chicken is coated with spices. And the sambal is nice. Pricy but worth a try.
Did not have fried fish in the day of our visit, a pity.
Food was suppppeeeer good. Otak, chicken leg and beef cheek rendang special
The perfect nasi lemak, but perfection comes with a price...$12.80
Pretty good nasi lemak. Rice is not clumpy and fragrant. Ordered the fried chicken breast to go along with the staple. The chicken is slightly tough hence the 4 stars. Will opt for the thigh in future.
