Nice venue. Expensive wine in plastic glasses. Pleasant staff. Saw The Ones - Beatles Tribute....terrible sound system .. Top third of the screen behind the band was not visible to those in the Balcony ... Disco ball hanging in front of screen also blocking view.Should have spent the money on 4 years of Spotify. Disappointing evening.

Formerly known as the Sony Center. The show was "We Will Rock You". It's a typical theater venue of about 70 yrs old . Seating capacity is limited so pick a good seat. We had an isle seat due to possible lack of legroom space.
Orchestra seats were ok but people that fidget and talk throughout the performance was not only annoying but ignorant and rude.
The Staff were very friendly and professional but they really need to scrutinize and caution patrons for thier ignorant behaviour. (Thereby, ruining the performance for others around them).

Seats are a snug, especially when there's no coatcheck and everyone has large winter coats to hold onto.. I thought this theatre had closed to renovate? Anyways if you're very tall avoid sitting in the center especially.

It's a lovely place for a performance. The seats are comfortable and you can see the stage fairly well regardless of where you are in the room.

My only dislike was when I was last there, the staff waited quite a bit before they let us into the performance hall with the seats. So, everyone was crowded into the entrance, after getting through the doors, when you have around 2000 people, this gets very full very fast.

First time going there and first time at The Symphony of the Godesses.
My seat wasn't the greatest, since it was blocked by the wall to the left of it. But that was something I knew of beforehand.
The concert itself was really nice. The big screen helped showcase the orchestra.
The snacks cost too much for what was being offered.
Overall, the experience was great.

This is a great venue for small intimate shows. I've been here many times to see different performances, and it has always been a fun time. I would say the only downsides are the cost for drinks and that they only sell popcorn as a snack. Aside from that, the formerly known Sony Centre still holds it's own as far as shows are concerned...in my opinion

Had a great first-time experience here- Joe Bonamassa and band. The venue isn't too big (seats just over 3000) so acoustics and sightlines were great (our view from the back of the 2nd level was fine). Staff seemed friendly. Lots of dining options nearby. Would definitely go to another show there.

I have so many happy sentimental memories of this centre from childhood into adulthood as my family frequently attended The Ballet and symphony here. Great acoustic sound never changes. Staff is great! May I say Stephanie is outstanding In exuding warmth and making you feel so welcome as if she is hosting you in her beautiful home. Thank-you!
Tonights performance wrapping up the 2019 Toronto "Love Never Fails' Convention was breathtaking! My favorite childhood place reached its crescendo tonight!

I like the classy vibe of the Sony venue. The carpeting reminds me of the Royal York Hotel, the staff is friendly and the shows that the venue hosts are really good. I enjoy the intimate setting and they offer wheelchair accessibility for those that have mobility devices like myself. It s easy to get into and out of the venue, and it s conveniently located close to Union Station if you re taking public transit home. Definitely recommends checking out an event there.

Great venue for any shows, been to plays, seen musicians performs and comedians at this venue and its always amazing. The staff are incredibly helpful, the upstairs bars are usually less packed and the washrooms are located in the basement!

Nice place, but long lines everywhere, for drinks, to get in, public washrooms.. Chairs athe balcony are not very large and are kind of uncomfortable. Stair at the balcony are high steps, some difficulty to step down on them.

They need to do something about the number of people entering the theatre hall after the start of performances and after intermission. It causes considerable distraction and interruption. Other than that it's a good venue.

Big space and lots of seats. The lighting was really cool. Loud sound and even though I was sitting in the mezzanine I was still able to see the stage clearly. There is also a big screen as well.

I've been to a few shows at the Sony Centre. The venue is small enough so there are no bad seats. The first show I went I thought the sound wasn't that great but the second show I went to the sound was excellent. So I guess it depends on the performer. Staff are great

Big venue with average accoustics and wide open lobby for pre and intermission refreshments. Beer selection: Ace Hill. Wine wasn't memorable. Large bathrooms with plenty of stalls to move the intermission crowd. Theatre is well located to King or Union subway stops with plenty of dining options within a 2 minute walk.

Wonderful mid-size venue with excellent views from all seats. Seating is spacious with nice leg room. Staff is very pleasant and helpful.
Been here for a number of concerts over the years and each time it was great. If you are unsure about seeing an artist at the venue I would highly recommend it.
