They denied my roadside claim twice. They tell you to send another invoice from past repair. Now state it's been 60 days. Company is not credible. Not sure why Technet auto repair shops still use them for anything.

I'm an auto repair and Sonsio offer labor warranty for 6 months. I been sending all the paperwork they requested but they took over 19 months so they can get me the amount approved credited back.
Very different company than the one I dealt with in the past but very unprofessional. Cites made-up exclusions no-where to be found on the tire protection plan exclusion list just so they don't have to cover any damages. What's the purpose of the protection plan then?
I've found the best way to deal with companies that treat you like you don't matter is to stop doing business with them completely so no more tire rack purchases until they drop Sonsio. It's back to my local tire shop from now on.
SONSIO DENIED MY CLAIM FOR "INCOMPLETE INFORMATION RECEIVED". I TOOK PHOTOS OF THE DAMAGED TIRE AND SENT THEM EVERYTHING THEY ASKED FOR. I HAVE PURCHASED 50 OR SO TIRES OVER THE YEARS FROM TIRERACK AND NEEDLESS TO SAY I WILL NEVER PURCHASE FROM TIRERACK OR SONSIO AGAIN!! I KNEW THE 'ROAD HAZARD" WAS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE. I WILL BE NEGATIVELY REVIEWING THIS POORLY RAN COMPANY EVERYWHERE I CAN ON THE INTERNET SO THAT OTHER POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS KNOW THAT THEY DO NOT HONOR THEIR ROAD HAZARD WARRANTY!
Literally 2 days past my warranty date for full coverage when I discovered a nail in my BRAND NEW Hankook tires on Monday (barely drove last 6 months due to COVID-19). Harsh enforcement of 100% vs 50% coverage (waited over the weekend to claim thus going over by 2 days) shows how little they care about customers.
Blow out on the freeway with no tread left. They said that because of no tread they can't evaluate a claim and that it must have been driven on for a long time. It was only driven 5-10 seconds to get safely off to the side of the freeway.
Basically a Hazard warranty that offers no real protection. They also said they don't speak to customers, only dealers. What kind of business offers warranty to a customer but will not speak to them. It isn't the dealers warranty it is mine, I am the customer.
When asked who I could complain to I was told "no one, I am the manager and there is no complaints department". When asked who regulates them where a complaint could be made I was given no answer. I asked government, insurance commission, BBB or other entity and then was informed they have an A+ BBB rating. Based on my experience they shouldn't. I hope others will similarly let BBB know so they can be less proud of the service they offer which is certainly not A+.
Easy to deal with accept that they want a lot of pictures...Had to resend one then they paid the entire value of the tire which was punctured by a road hazard and not repairable... I'm happy. Thanks Tire Rack.
Used to actually be a functional warranty company, this has since changed. Now customers are forced to submit warranty and labor claims online. Included in their new online only / avoid customer contact procedure, is the mandate for original invoice from where the shop bought the part from the supplier. Maybe this would be less of a joke if we were an accounting firm. Were an auto shop, like most other shops, invoices are not retained in-store for 2 years, likely because we also not storage facilities. Paying into scamsio has cost me enough, fortunately, technet does not require such stupidity. Fare thee well.
Follow UP - A manager Derik reached out and confirmed that he had looked at my emails and confirmed I had submitted clear and sufficient pictures to confirm the damage to my tire and my claim. I am not sure why I never received an email or USPS confirmation. It was paid - as promised. I would suggest when making a claim follow up weekly and keep your damaged tire for the full 60 days.
No stars if I could. Both thumbs down! Same issue other reviewers have had! BEWARE Tirebuyer should change warranty companies. My story - Made the claim 12-07-2019 - I submitted my claim w/ pictures on 12-28-2019 and again on 01-29-2020. Nothing was ever received from SONSIO. I called today 02-06-2020 (1 day before claim is void) They asked if i had the tire, i said no, i never heard back from you. Rochelle said too bad - you should have read your email. I explained i never heard back. I was told you wouldn't- it is up to the consumer to follow through. In all fairness their email states "The claim will be eligible for 60days and do not discard your damaged tire until everything has been verified" "Please keep in mind tires CAN BE RANDOMLY SELECTED for damage" SO LESSON here is DO NOT TRUST SONSIO for reimbursement - STAY ON THEM AND FOLLOW UP DAILY. Loved tire buyer - but won't be back. Discount tire matches the prices and stands behind their warranty.
I have worked in the automotive industry for over 18 years and never have I encountered such rude customer service. This has been going on for years with this company not just during the current pandemic. It has gotten to the point where I will no longer carry products that use Sonsio claims services. This is obviously a failure on the whole culture of the company. I hope the work on morale or whatever they have to do to solve this terrible service. I sell over 75K a year in brake pads, imagine if shops dropped parts stores over this terrible service those parts stores will drop Sonsio.
