I wasn't a big fan of the music here (oldies) but most people seemed to like it. After 10pm there was a $10 cover charge, and the drinks were around $8 each. The place felt a little grimy but overall it was a fun night of dancing.

We went to bootie CA on Saturday night. Music was good however we had very bad experience of thefts. My friends phone got stolen from her purse and another person that we met there was looking for her wallet . Beware of pick pockets. Bottomline when your phone is stolen all fun is gone :(
Great drinks and place to hang out with friends. Just wish they served good.

This place hands down they are the best positive atmosphere, The two family members are one of the best owners that I have known definitely a place to come any day of the week and enjoy your moment have a nice drink or bring a date to make sure your night going to end up the way you want to
All around solid bar. Creative drinks, good variety of music, DJs, and local art on display. Veronica and crew just hosted a happy hour benefit for my non-profit last week. Super easy to work with. They even printed posters and flyers free of charge!
Go to spot in Oakland, lively and cultured. Just be prepared to wait at that bar for your drink. It s a hit
ONe of the best little holes in the walls i have found in town. getting some good drinks was nice for once

I like going here while staying in the east bay for the time being. Very cool spot, people there is cool and I love the music they play, so it's my place to go if in oakland.
One of my favorite bars in the Bay Area. Good music and extremely convenient to 19th Street BART. It gets pretty crowded over the weekend, but the bartenders never seem overwhelmed and the wait for a drink is never long. That the owner is a good guy and can often be found behind the bar is a big plus.
Not sure what happened but something changed. Went tonight and was kept waiting for over 40 minutes. Came in by myself, friends waiting in the smoking section, id and cash ready.. Come on! Plus they were rude. What happened?
The owner or whomever was working there had a rude attitude toward me. Made me feel unwelcomed and I would not ever go there. I don't need to go anywhere where I'm not welcomed.
