There is a charming atmosphere, located on the banks of the Nile, whether it is watching the flashing lights on the other side at night, or the river scenery stretching during the day is great! Also like the hospitality staff enthusiasm~

It's a nice old Hotel. You see the spots on the couch in the lobby. Spend 300,- Egyptian Pounts for entrance Fee. What can be consumed on Beverages in the Hotel. A bit dark interior in the Bar. Nice view to the Nile. Friendly Staff.

One of the most beautiful hotels in Aswan and Upper Egypt is characterized by the distinctive location of the last Corniche Nile Aswan overlooking the most beautiful landscape in Aswan on the island of Alfantin. Excellent service. It is the highest price in Aswan and it is rated five stars with one swimming pool and the most beautiful on the Nile. It was the time of King Farouk Palace and next to the garden of Princess Ferial.

A living picture. Just shut up, watch, walk around, have a drink facing the Nile where the minutes take their time. Dining in this beautiful dining room is a must, for the atmosphere and history it has experienced. I collect money to go back. The rest is described in other notices. I only mention here why to go.

Gorgeous hotel. Beautiful view from our balcony. Very good pool. Didn't have the pleasure of using the spa which was also beautiful. We never made it to any of the Restaurants but ordered in room service which was excellent. (Except second time I ordered the meza they forgot to put the dressing on the tabouleh).

Hard to rate this hotel as we had an unusual experience. We had our room reserved by our tour company. When we arrived we were given a room with 2 twin beds. We had said that we reserved a king bed. The person on duty explained that there were no king beds in their premium rooms. We agreed to pay for an upgrade to a king bed. We contacted and told our tour company about the mistake with beds that we had to cover. In the end we were not charged for the upgrade. However nowhere on their website does it mention any rooms that don't have king beds, so I am not sure how this mistake happened or was it a way to have tourists pay extra.

The first good thing about this hotel that strikes one is the view. Guests in rooms in the old building looking out over the Nile toward Elephantine Island and the spectacular desert beyond will understand why so many luminaries ranging More

When you enter this hotel, you will be thrown back in time, a time of British class. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. The view on the Nile is literally fabulous. The breakfast is extensive and the restaurants are of a high culinary status. Really a top world class hotel. Needless to say, I think Old Cataract is a must.

It s the must stay place in Aswan but for the price, the service and food let it down and don t quite deem it worthy of the 5 stars it could easily get. We had a Nile view room which was huge and beautifully decorated with a stunning view. It was in the large annexe which, whilst unsightly, does give a good view of the main 19th century palace hotel. There isn t a huge amount to do or see in Aswan, comparative to Luxor for example, but it s worth a couple of nights if you re happy to sit an watch the Nile drift by in a beautiful setting.
