I am more than 18 years old This hotel came down when it was frankly changed on the Sofitel and especially at breakfast Amanah management in dealing with the frankness of the names reversed the promotion of this hotel, especially Ahmed Yunus and Hani Hiam and the successful manager Ayman I like at the hotel management Iman al-Jabali A note modified immediately to everyone

One of the best Nile view hotels in Cairo known it since many years when was a Sheraton's property
Its situated in an island in the middle of the Nile a unique circular tower

Like many of the hotels in Egypt, this Sofitel is dated probably needs a facelift. The non-smoking rooms still reek of smoke, so if that s an issue for you I d recommend staying somewhere else. In comparison to other locations around the world, the price seems quite cheap for a 5 star hotel, but the price reflects the quality unfortunately. The staff are great and do everything they can to help, but there s not much you can do when the standard doesn t quite match the global brand s.

That being said, the hotel is in a beautiful location on the Nile, and the outside areas and pool are beautifully kept. The buffet breakfast is amazing and has everything you could ever want to eat for breakfast plus more.

Good hotel with nice view, excellent breakfast and restuarant staff very friendly but front desk staff not friendly. Hotel location is very popular. Rooms rates compared to the rooms size not acceptable at all and too costly and no sounds insulation, you can hear every single sound.
They have beautiful views especially down restaurants and cafes

El Kababgy restaurant is a spot not to be missed. I d consider it a hidden gem..right on the Nile where you re served excellent food while seeing the ladies prepare your Baladi bread fresh out the oven. The grilled lamb chops were outstanding, definitely me favourite from what we ordered. The fattoush salad is lovely, so are the baba ghanoug and the mohamara. Order your stuffed pigeon in advance, you won t regret it!
