Elias in the Moroccan restaurant, his treatment is crazy for a fun and friendly person, his treatment is above the excellent, thank you, Elias, and Shaima Ali for your good deal with us.

Restaurant Pizzeria lunch and eat Mer Palme was fully and thank the names for the reception and Walid Service

Nice one, but not a great value for money, here is why:

Location:
Indeed, the location might be very good for those looking for city sight seeing, but, if you are here for a business, this is not the best location you will feel comfortable. It is a very crowded traffic area, you will suffer going there specially in the rush hours.

At the access of the hotel and from the main road, you find carriages with horses, filling the area with bad smell, the road direct to the hotel is messed up, blocks thrown down the road for unjustified reasons.

Security:
That is there, well check has been done which is quite inline with my expectations for a hotel in such location.

Cleanliness:
The hotel is clean from inside, reception, corridors, lifts. Inline with expectations

Room:
The view was quite acceptable from the balcony.
In the bathroom, you find only soap, shower gel, and shampoo, cotton puds, but no tooth kit, no comb, no slippers.
The room size is quite acceptable in my perspective but the furniture is outdated even some items were already broken.
if you are a TV fan, A well sized nice TV is there with the normal channel selections.

Noise: and here come the pain, this is the worst part, even I stay on 15th floor, but I still hear the noises from the nearby traffic horns.
Besides, VERY LOUD noises from sports clubs around. Showing lack of proper isolation for the windows. Even I tried to open the windows to check how far is the noise source but I failed due to the fact that the lock was broken.
This is a real nightmare.

Staff:
I came this hotel 2 times, maybe 3, last time, I really felt the staff are not relaxed unlike the first time I came. But the overall experience is very acceptable.

Food:
The is the most pleasant part, just one word to describe it ... fantastic.

Value against money:
The hotel is costing around 200 $ per night for bed, breakfast and taxes, which is not a small amount.
I am working in 15 countries and have stayed in hotels half of that price and much better overall experience.

-Location make sure you book the room with full Nile view because Sofitel was the only 5-star option by the water of the Nile, and this what makes the place my favorite hotel in Cairo.

Whats great experience i had . I been going to softil almost every year for 9 years . This time i made reservations but have to cancel due to travel suspended. I contact reservations office. The way they resolve the issue was in very skills professional will train staff

Great place, but service is lousy, a waiter at the terrace was asking for a 100 EGP tip because it was Eid!!!!!!

Hotel is very elegant, staff by far very polite and professional. We enjoyed our stay here, and we have been treated as celebrities and they surprised us with a presidential suite upgrade with my kids and wife and our entire group.
Can't THANK the management enough for taking care of us during our stay here in Egypt.
Highly recommend them for the stay if you are in Cairo. For sure will be back to enjoy another longer stay.

The Moroccan restaurant is one of the best restaurants in Cairo. Its view in the middle of the Nile is something of imagination and eating more than wonderful with the oriental tarab. They give a service from the heart.
Sister Shaima s reception, welcome and interest in the customer is very nice God willing, all employees serve from the heart and respectful

Honestly, the visit was successful and it was wonderful. I chose this hotel as the most beautiful thing that happened on our trip. The staff treated us very well. We received the best reception and I would like to thank all the staff, headed by Mohammed Abdel Moneim and brother Ala. In breakfast every day and helps us all we want service (5 stars)
There is a room called Club Millesime. In this room you can spend the most beautiful times drinking coffee, tea and eating delicious pastries. The sessions are beautiful in the Moroccan restaurant, the service is great, and the spirit of the staff is very beautiful. We recommend visiting the restaurant if you like high-end sessions, and the employee Mirna has served us with all professionalism, taste and literature.

The hotel, a 5* property situates at the banks of the famous Nile River. Had learned about Nile river in my childhood, and hence this was an apt choice for me to stay in this hotel with a mesmerizing view of Nile river. Its easily accessible by car, and from the entry itself you will feel the plushy feel of the star property.
Guest relation officers in the hotel are good and they attend to your any queries with patience and always ready for a help if its an emergency. They used to surprise you by sending occasional gifts to the room, whenever you are low or lost due to any reasons. As we were foreigner for them, they were always with us to help for any small needs from us. The food quality and standard is marvelous. The stay for two nights was awesome. Hotel offers, free wi-fi and parking for our office vehicle was also allowed. Hotel boasts of their bar and restaurants with one they have on the river (its floating restaurant). Will advise for a stay in Hotel Sofitel .. on the banks of Nile river !!!
