First class hotel. The room is fair (Luxury single), the bath and shower are too good to skip, but the bed oh! the bed is absolutely AMAZING, the breakfast is top. Restaurant is a bit pricey but the food is really great. There's a swimming pool, sauna and a gym on the 9th floor.
And the hotel is just across the Athens airport, 3 minutes walk.

Last Monday 23/07, there was a huge fire in my village, Rafina. I had to leave my house after the recommendation from firemen and policemen (the fire was 5 meters from my house).
That night, I was trying to find a place to sleep, and all the hotels in Rafina area were full. So I went to check in this one, next to the airport.
This hotel is absolutely recommended when using it from night arrival early morning of Athens Airport. By taxi from Athens Airport to the city, it costs 28,50 (uniform). [Airport and city trains take 10 per person and take time. If you have two or more people, we recommend taxis] It is not the latest hotel, but it is beautiful and ugly. If it is a little cheaper ... it is the best
Beautiful Hotel right across the road from the Airport..... Perfect location and very convenient....Very clean, modern decor, friendly staff, great food at the Hotel restaurants .......
Courteous staff, helped us with the delivery of some missing luggage from our previous hotel. Also the executive reception on the 8th floor was a good surprise.
The main attraction of the hotel is the proximity of the airport. It is a very comfortable hotel, the rooms are comfortable, and the food is fine. In the end you have the discomfort that the hotel offers more than what you really need. The price is very high for what you would need from a hotel near an airport.
Had a constant humming sound from the elevators in the room and the electrical sockets came loose from the wall. Nice pool though but would have expected the rooms to be nicer, considering the price.
Very good and excellent hotel for those who need to stay at the airport. It only takes more people to checkin because we have great flow times the queue takes a lot.
One of the best hotels. Excellent, friendly service with a comfortable, sparkling clean room. Their restaurant Mesoghaia is fantastic too. We had dinner and breakfast, both were perfect.
Above expectations ... perfect location ... exceptional front desk staff ... great recommendations ... we upgraded and saved money ... best of both worlds ... this was our first stay at a Sofitel ... would stay at a Sofitel anytime ... looking forward to our next visit to one ...
Nicest hotel around Athens Airport but that's not saying much since pickings are slim. The hotel needs to be better maintained, it looks a little beat up and dirty. The restaurant had uninspired and mediocre fare with higher than average prices. Rooms are fine and the bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly and provided good service, probably the highlight of this place.
Nearly directly connected to Athens Airport, this hotel is convenient for early morning conveniences and other early nights. Very clean, with separate toilet and bathtub. In addition, the Greek-like objects are decorated in some places in the hotel, and it will be a recovery of the eyes.
Fabulous staff, rooms, cuisine, pool. This is a pricy hotel, however, SO very worth it. Initially planned as a stopover, we extended our stay by 2 additional nights. Hotel accommodated me and my children with such grace. Additional pillows, towels, robes and even bubble bath were provided!! We loved the morning breakfast; excellent selection and quality. Great coffee. Very quiet and peaceful. I cannot say enough about how pleasant and discreet the staff was. Although quite removed from central Athens, it was fantastic when it was time to depart. A short walk, and we were there!
Perfect for a one night stay before moving on. Most facilities are closed, you can get a meal in the bar, which we did, we had the fish of the day which was very good but 26! Do not bother with the breakfast, even if booking a b&b rate, it is served in your room and was the most pathetic breakfast I have ever encountered. The only edible thing was the orange juice. They charge 18 and you will be much better off going to one of the cafes in the airport.
Wonderful experience with friendly attentive staff, lovely room and lots of facilities. The restaurant is modern and attractive, with 24 hour service, and a good range of traditional and modern dishes.
Sofitel class, nothing to say on the (newly renovated) rooms. Dinner (on site) and breakfast (in the room - Covid consequence) very poor (defrost sense on the pizzza and Mussaka, Caesar salad with too much Mayo / breakfast left on the table with fruits as solid as stones, cold coffee... ) , despite good service Better take a taxi out or take breakfast at airport....
Reception forgot to offer non-smoking room. Room was reeking of nicotine. Hotel overall was great. Had to stay overnight due to major delay of my flight
Excellent stay. The rooms are clean and big. The bathroom with the shower or tub option is nice. There's a small indoor gym with some weights, a sauna and a indoor pool which is quite nice for those hot days. Located directly from the airport so it's very convenient especially for those early morning flights.
Very good, very clean, friendly staff, easy access for a short stay between flights, and easy walkable access. Highly recommended due to location, but a bit over priced. I guess that is to be expected due to location and convenience factor. Would definitely stay again.
An amazing place to stay after a prolonged vacation in the countryside where modern amenities are few and far between. The mattress is extremely comfortable and the shower is so refreshing.
An early morning departure date took us to this hotel in the immediate vicinity of Athens Airport. It is a 2-minute walk to the terminal and a 5-minute walk to the car rental companies. The hotel is a typical 5 star hotel. Friendly, somewhat business-like reception, a page can help with luggage on request. The room was freshly renovated and offered enough storage space for 2 suitcases. The bed is large and comfortable, there is a kettle and a large television with numerous foreign language channels (including several German channels). The view goes to the rear terminal and a part of the runway. The window is triple-glazed - you don't hear any outside noise, but there is no fresh air either because the window cannot be opened. But there is an individually adjustable air conditioning system. The wet room is large, comfortable and picobello clean. All typical sanitary articles are available. Due to time constraints we could not have breakfast (25, - extra). We also didn't test the pool and spa. Overall, a very pleasant, luxurious hotel in the upper price range.
If you have a long wait before catching a connecting flight here is a civilised and relaxing place to be. The staff are soooooooo charming, there is food available both inside and out but the quality is not superb. Coffee was excellent.
Not a five star hotel, their management team have pulled off a coup getting that rating. A generous four-star at best. Great location at 30 seconds on foot to the airport terminal. The service is good, the restaurant and bar are OK. The pool is nice for relaxing. The gym is the worst I've ever seen in a hotel. All in all, a functional hotel for stopovers, but don't expect big things. I have been here several times and would use it again.
Because we couldn't make our connecting flight at the beginning of July 2018, we stayed here at the airline's expense. The room was good and well insulated against outside noise, the bathroom was excellent. The evening buffet was understandably quite cleared at 11.30 p.m., but the breakfast buffet was delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful. Downtown Athens can be reached in 45 minutes by metro. On the way back we had breakfast there again, this time at our expense for 25 per person.
If you need an hotel at the airport this is the only option and it's a very nice hotel staff was super nice and helpfull the room was good. The price is what makes the difference here and it was rather expensive even for a nice hotel.
Good hotel, nice experience, clean excellent connection to the airport. No 24h fitness and pool. For a price of > 200 Euro I would have expected a breakfast and full speed internet to be included, hence not really good value for money.
Terrible restaurant, bad service, over-air-conditioned so you have to dress for winter to sit in their cafe. Go to a local Greek establishment instead. I went here because of proximity to airport.
Of the best hotels we have in Greece !! Clean people all and their staff courteous and helpful !! And their food very carefully and all fresh .. We recommend !!!
Very good location and saves your travelling time if you have booked early morning flight. Restaurant was also good and they are serving authentic greek cuisine.
Great concierge, amazing rooms and showers. They have a very diverse breakfast menu. This is the only hotel located at the airport but they make it worth your time. perfect for crashing at If you have an early flight
The attention to detail and care they showed to each guest was top notch. We stayed one night to get some quality sleep before an international flight and it was well worth it. The walk to the airport is maybe 3 minutes. You are literally right at the airport but the rooms are super quiet. Well worth it! Thank you!
Let me start by saying this is probably the most expensive airport hotel in the world. With that in mind paying $300-$600 just to sleep at the airport may be nuts to some people. So I went into this wanting to hate this place.
I initially had an issue with booking it where I had to talk to a ton of stuff and I initially thought they were being really unprofessional but it all got figured out.
So fast forward to the arrival. Check in was great, my luggage was damaged so I asked if they had a heavy duty tape and they got some for me.
They didn t take a credit card which was super cool so I didn t have to worry about the deposit going on and off.
The rooms were super ultra modern. For an airport hotel... wow. For any hotel... wow,
The hotel smells brand new, getting off the elevator they had brand new carpet and super nice furniture and carpeting. It was for sure a good feeling waking into that.
We also did room service and it was great. There were no insane delivery charges or gratuities attached to it which was awesome.
The one negative is the room smelled like smoke from a fire, apparently there was s fire in the area they believed and the wind blew it to the area so the whole hotel smelled like smoke. So if that is true then I can t really blame them!
Yes it is ridiculously overpriced but it is actually a really nice hotel so it makes you feel a lot better about it.
Oh and it was probably a 3 minute walk into the airport to departures from the front door of the hotel.
Excellent service, very good food (moussaka strong enough to be appreciated by a local yet light enough for a traveller) and very clean and quiet spacious rooms.
Very nice and convenient location: right in front of the airport, 2 minutes walk! The room was very cute and the king bed was especially comfortable. I had a great stay. If your booking comes with dinner and breakfast, it's a small buffet that doesn't have a lot of options but the food is good.
This hotel is super nice. Great service, and the rooms are very comfortable. It s quite expensive, but the proximity to the airport is a definite plus.
