Incredible cathedral, insanely large and is just as pretty inside. Great view of the city from the front.

Magnificent place and monument in Paris with a true French flair as you hear music in the street, and nearby place du Tertre with drawers and artists.
This monument is always a very good place to go, especially if sunny as it looks impressive and offers a good view in Paris
The church is impressive and there are amazing views across Paris however be aware of the people selling fake goods that line the ramp up. Some got very angry when we were going up.
Nice views of Paris , the church is beautiful - always seems strange to me all the tourist wandering around while the church service is on!!
Too many people but a delight to watch and hangout.
Worth the visit... Church still in use... Dress appropriately(nothing too revealing, shorts are ok) Beautiful panoramas.. Abessess is the nearest metro... You can also catch the 80 (pink) bus line to the eiffel Tower from behind the. Busy place but not so bad as the palace of Versailles
The area around the Sacre Coeur is so authentic to Paris!
Beautiful and peaceful, these two words define this basilica. Looks amazingly breath taking. One must visit this place to experience a serene beauty of the city and enchanting view. Don't forget to walk through Montmartre, this will be my fav spots to stop and observe the memories captured in artifacts and paintings. Best place to shop for value for money souvenirs.
Nice Place but no handy anymore.. So you definitely have to look for your belongings.
Beautiful hill and church. All of the street sellers are a bit irritating.
Really pretty from the inside and outside. Not crowded (because of the covid) with a great view of Paris.
Bring your hiking boots, lots of stairs but worth every step for view
Building and outlook were very impressive. Didn't get a chance to go inside though
Lovely scenery and great on a bright and sunny day.
Worth to visit! The church is located on the highest point of Parts Montmartre. Interesting architecture and stained-glass windows inside.
The church is super beautiful and the panorama of Paris is
A can t miss in Paris. The view is worth the trip alone. Some shops around the neighborhood on top of the mountain for a quick bite or a souvenir. The church is another marvel in Paris.
Beautiful church inside and out. Beware baddies abound.
Fantastic views of central Paris at no charge from the top. I didn't go into the church this time so not sure what the costs are.
Beautiful views of Paris without having to go up the Eiffel Tower with long line ups.
Majestic experience visiting this divine place. Located on the hilltop, be prepared to climb lots of stairs. There was also a lift service on left side of it to take you to top if you are tired or have elderly members in your party. The Montmartre area around it is very happening with lots of restaurants, gelato and chocolate boutiques. Lots of gifts shops as well. A train and carousel ride for kids. The inside of chapel is very divine and relaxing with great architecture and artwork on the roofs.
When you come out don't forget to buy a small lock from street vendors and put it on fence in front of chapel to ask for a wish. Definitely visit if you have time while in Paris after visiting Eiffel tower, Versailles and Luvre museum.
love...love love this church..highlight of my trip to Paris
Amazing church. Incredible artwork. Even the steps to the front door and the spectacular views of Paris from above are amazing.
I'm not religious, but this is a breathtakingly beautiful church. Although free to enter it did feel as though every five paces you were being asked for money.
Good views of the city from the front, good place to people watch. Becareful of pick pockets. There s a cable car thing to the top of the stairs if your not feeling particularly fit.
It is a beautifull church andreally worth to visit. It has a lot of stairs and you can have a great view of the beautifull city of paris from it.there are a lot of shops near there.the church itself is also beautifull
Definitely will go there again for relaxing and watching the sun sets..
Very pretty place atop Paris. It is situated in the Montparnasse area of Paris. Montparnasse in itself is very beautiful neighborhood. We visited the Basilica in the night around 22h30. Found ample street parking around. Street parking is free after 20h or 21h. There were some crowd (some drunk students I suppose) in the front part of the Basilica. Good view of the city, but better in the morning. You can also have a great view if the Eiffel tower with all glitters.
Very beautiful place and very beautiful church! Lots of fine art around and the mass celebration was very beautiful. The priest spoke to people instead of reading! That sounded really natural!wow!
One of my favourite churches in Paris, although there are many lovely ones. The time I was there, I even spoke to a nun and she was so kind and spoke to me in English and helped me understand her faith a little. I am forever grateful! The building itself is a piece of art and beautiful! The view from the church is amazing as you can see the whole city.
Nice and historical place to visit.i recommend to visit this place
The most beautiful place in Paris. The view is amazing, quite happening and lots of options to chill around!
Great views over Paris, only downside is it can be very busy. Well worth the walk up all the steps and there are plenty of restaurants and cafes at the top in and around Place du Tertre
First place I visited in Paris. The church is beautiful and the stairs are a nice workout. The church and park can be very crowded with tourists and scammers. But overall it was very nice
Beautiful area of Montmartre. The basilica is absolutely beautiful and worth the walk up the steps.
I love this place,be respectful and well dressed when you go into the Church there...don't involve any kind of gambling game in the street, they are in a large group & you will be easily trapped!
Full with street vendors, homeless and drunk people. I saw a fighting between 4 street venders.
Great view of Paris.
Nice kept church!
Very impressive! Well worth a visit, free entrance but you can put 2 in the box to light a candle. Also visit the dome for 7 (300 steps) for a magnificent view of Paris!
Beautiful landmark church that is free to go inside. There is a fee to go up the top of the dome. Located at the top of a hill that give excellent views of the city of Paris. There is a funnicular railway to the top for the price of a metro ticket or you can climb the many steps. Please be aware of youths and young men in gangs that hassle tourists to buy things, not even sure what they were selling as we just ignored them and walked straight through them. A small distraction of a wonderful church.
Nice, but be careful of some guys while coming down ,they will forcefully try to tie some thread on your wrist & ask money. The way up is nice, you come across a cavelike walkway which is beautiful.
Just stunning inside and out. Worth the wall up to the dome also. Beautiful.
Stunning inside and out. Views of the city are worth the effort. Suggest having a seat on the steps and taking in the vista before heading back down.
very relaxing and a great feel good factor about the place
Healthy exercise renting bicycles to get to Sacre-Coeur (we were wondering why there was no other bike traffic as we closed in on the top) and the view from up there was completely worth it. Completely different perspective from Arc de Triomphe, but the views certainly rival each other. And on your way down the hill, make sure to check out the bohemian Montmartre street market great place to pick up some French artwork!
Beautiful, large, historic church. The stained glass was very unique and different. The surrounding neighborhood and area also made the stop fun and well worth it.
The church itself is gorgeous, both from the outside and the inside and it has a great view from the church entrance. It can be crowded from times. In general the area has some of the best vibes in town, I would highly recommend to take a walk around the area - great opportunity for photographers as you can get many great angles of both the church and the view of Montmartre
Must see if you are in Paris, and the area around it is amazing.
Good Church to visit and see the overall view of Paris from the top
The peacefulness this place gives is indescribable.
Great view, but beware with some shady black guys offer you bracelet, if you visiting this just say no to everything and hand in the pocket
this church is one of the tourist spots in france. locating on top of the hill makes the church more beautiful.
Again to many people just ruin the experience. Paris itself has to many people. You can t really enjoy anything.
I absolutely love this cathedral and it's not one of the older ones in paris but it sure has presence and it has a style so it's own. It was 4 years before I climbed up the domes and I have to say it made it that much better so don't be foolish and pay the 6 Euro (I think that's what it was) to go up top you won't regret the view and the beauty of the church.
The views from the top are well worth the hike and the street performers in front are usually great.
Wow what a beautiful church getting to the top is a challenge if you take the stairs. The town is so beautiful this was one of my favorite place I visited in Paris.
Incredible sight to see. Do some research about the place before hand and you ll really appreciate the architecture and story more as you stroll through and around the property. A must see while
In Paris.
Great view if you can manage the stairs (there is a rail car too if you can't)
Amazing view of Paris, no sight of Eiffel Tower from here, but still great. The architecture and interior of the church is stunning and worth lining up to enter. It's also fun to climb up be staircase. There is a funicular if you have difficulty climbing. This is a typical popular European tourist spot, expect crowded with tourists, souvenir merchants, and scammers.
Amazing building with great architecture. This one rivals the Notre Dame. It's not so touristy do you don't have that many crowds to fight and I would recommend you see this one.
J adore
Every time, sth new gets my attention
One of the beautiful churches i have ever seen. You feel you are in the highest place in Paris and you will see an amazing view of Paris. The church is fantastic by itself and you will love it.
The views of Paris are worth the trip. It is busy here. LOTS of tourists. Remember, it is a "working" Church so there will be people worshipping. Please respect that.
