Better views than the eiffel tower and you can relax more. Very busy obviously as its a peak tourist destination. For easier accessability come up from the moulin rouge and get the tram to top of the steps.

Beautiful church and even more beautiful views of all of Paris! Prepare to climb steep hills to venture to the cathedral, but there is a lift to bring you up the hills. There's also 300+ steps inside the cathedral for even better views of the city! Definitely worth the visit!

The big white church of paris from where you can see paris from above. The entry in the basilica is free but if you wanna go in the towers you must pay. Sadly not a nice area around the basilica. You must pay always attention to your stuff and don't let the man there tie a band on your wrist cause you have to pay for it. At the base you can buy souvenier at good prices.

Really beautiful place to visit. You can see almost entire Paris from the top. The only bad point is the place is full of street hawkers, fake charities and scammers.

My advice don t speak with any hawker, just a hello can bring a lot of trouble.

Anyway it is a Free attraction

What is Spanish Steps in Rome is Sacre Ceur in Paris. A stepped terraced hill, a gathering place for city youth, a nice location to watch the time pass by. A Vantage point to see the sun set over the horizon coloring city of Paris below in shades of ocre.

The basilica itself is a destination for the religious and the curious, offering a rich tapestry of art and culture through stained glass works and treasured paintings on the walls of its various chapels.

But the main draw hre for tourists perhaps is the ambience around. In the narrow cobbled streets off the perimeter walls of the basilica, art and paiting salons share space with restaurants and gift shops. Artists draw, musicians play guitar or accordian. A joy de vivre reins.

Without a doubt one of my favourite places in Paris. The building is overwhelmingly beautiful and if you go to the top you will be rewarded with one of the most breathtaking views over the city. Make sure you go there if you have the chance, it really is worth it.

Very busy up the surrounding streets with souvenir shops and street vendors , once you walk up the stairs you are greeted by large numbers of africans selling /hassling you to see where your from and to try to sell you wrist bands and other goods , told them numerous times wasn't interested but they follow you around , when you come down you are greeted by the same individuals and hassled again , Good overview of the city

Great cathedral and architectural masterpiece. The park in front of Sacre Coeur is very nice, but beware of all the people trying to sell something to you or put something on your hand as a "gift". They can be very annoying and hard to send away. The terrace in front of the main entrance gives a very beautiful view of Paris, it's worth taking a moment just to enjoy it and take some good pictures. Mind the opening and closing hours of the cathedral.

A must see in Paris. The cathedral is free to go inside but to go up into the dome it is 9. In the basement there is a fantastic display you can walk around for free in that speaks about the life of Christ. Spectacular view from this place and it is the perfect thing to end a trip to Paris with.

Wow what a fantastic service and Church! The walk is brutal with lots of stairs and annoying vendors who will grab you. The views at the top are great and the Church is beautiful! This is a hidden gem. The lines are long but mine very quickly! They weren t even checking passes when we got there.

This place is not safe. When I wanted to avoid some immigrant guys, they were intimidating me and left my hand hurt. If you travel alone here, just be aware and try to attach another tour group. It s really dangerous here..

A Highland at Paris, where you can have a panorama of this romantic ancient city, especially during sunset time, it worth to bring the one you love with you.
Besides, behind this church there is a quite cultural block where you will find street art and artists.

Beware: as there is a famous tourism s point, there are some dishonest packman in front of the church (down slope) as well.

Suggestions: start your visit from Wall of love, get through the cultural block before arrive at church to avoid to go through the slope in front of it.
