best indoor ski slope in Belgium and the Netherlands.
best indoor ski slope in Belgium and the Netherlands.
Both the snow quality and the size of the place were much better than expected. I would say it's a must-go for any beginner before hitting the real mountain slopes. It's a great place to learn snowboarding or skiing and learning here will make your first mountain experience so much better. With the addition of the snow park it becomes a place where people of most skill levels can enjoy spending some time in.
When we first visited one of the two large slopes was closed and yet it was not too crowded.
The best known ski hall, definitely better than Neuss and Bottrop, the further journey is worthwhile. Ski / snowboard rental pretty cheap, but the prices for food and drinks are higher. Parking is abundant.
Wonderful morning skiing, best alternative if you do not go to the mountains.
Unfortunately, slopes are not always well prepared and the changing rooms could sometimes need a new coat of paint.
Nice to eat something with a view of the people trying to ski. Parking costs 3
Went there as part of a university field trip, loved it. The slopes are nice, even though the lift could go a bit faster. The little hut in the middle of the slope is an awesome way to stop for a drink!
Easily located by private vehicle or public transport. Staff are readily available, speak great English, and are very informative and helpful. The snow boarding lessons were very good and gear for rent is of a high quality. The ski slopes themselves are really great, although can get quite busy. I would highly recommend a visit here if u are in the area.
could turn on a little more music and louder. and a few small obstacles would be nice. otherwise top.
It took a long time to order a drink, but the drinks were good. The bar was cosy.
Relax on the terrace, always more expensive but yes
My son is just starting out with skiing and it is perfect for him
Come skiing again last night. Other than that it was busy. if the slope was very bad then not to mention the snow jellyfish as if you were skiing on sharp sand. Again get time that they defrost the hall and put snow in it again.
Ample parking, 2 beautiful slopes and an extra snowboard park, good rental equipment and excellent hospitality.
The mixed drinks I found to be be weak and not that great the bbq was ok but I felt a bit let down for the money
Next to the ski hall is a staircase of 507 steps. AWESOME! Good for your condition and upstairs you have a fantastic view!
Nice hall with chairlift, which makes it better than other indoor courts anyway
Not skied, but ate delicious pea soup and watched the skiing.
We have been countless times and it remains a great day out. Certainly the "stunt" slope is worth it. (wear a helmet)
Large and beautiful. Unlike snowvalley in Peer, the air here is cold because the air is cooled. That indicates after an hour of skiing that you are well cold. So sufficient clothing is recommended.
One of the largest indoor ski slopes that I have seen in my entire life. There are four ski slopes plus a fun park. The slopes are usually in good condition and there is enough space for everyone. There are also places where you can eat and drink.
Outside there is also a large climbing trail and a toboggan run.
Definitely recommended for all ages.
Always outstanding customer service but had an issue with some type of insects in the room and the breakfast was bland.
Been there with company.
Food and surroundings everything was great.
At the end a private party with a DJ who was not really good and could not respond to our wishes enough.
It was fun and everyone was very friendly. It is also well organized
Great indoor ski center, considered one of the biggest of Europe.
You have several tracks, 2 for beginners on an escalator, 1 track for advanced beginners and 1 track for more advanced accessable by aerial lift and t-bar. (Although consider this as light blue, blue and red. Definitely not black)
When you come, try to not come during the busy times, because the line to the lift is just enormous. (15 min waiting to go up)
Busy times are evenings and weekends. Try to come in a weekday before or around noon and the slopes are almost empty.
Also in the mornings they bulldoze the snow, so perfect conditions then!
The food in the restaurant is expensive, and really small portions.
If you come, take the 8 hour card as it is more beneficial!
Great opportunity to ski. Two large slopes for advanced, 2 small for kids / beginners plus the fun park. The staff is very friendly and speaks good German. The lunch is priced ok. 26 for two hot meals and drinks are acceptable. Unfortunately, the Kaiserschmarrn was out early, had to switch to Burger, which fell apart when eating. Less is sometimes more! The parking lot apparently costs something, unfortunately badly signposted or explained where to get the chip for the barrier. We only got off the parking lot thanks to an employee.
Nevertheless, we will come again!
Excellent powder, 6-seater chairlift, a barbecue at the top in short a superb day at the top
Really nice welcome. In English, but we had "prepared" for it in view of the email exchanges for booking a ski lesson.
The place is really good. Easy access. Large parking (4 / car). Common cloakroom. Remember to come with your clothes (under sweater) already put on. Possibility of having a locker (0.50 ).
Regarding ski lessons, we opted for one hour of individual beginner lessons. The instructor spoke good French and was really nice. Very happy with the service.
Finally, we advise you to ski from 9am. Very few people at this time!
Really great as a concept, I hadn't been on skis for over 24 years and I was very afraid to go on vacation but to have been there before was a real pleasure
Thank you
One of the best slopes in the Benelux. With a real chairlift because it is unique for an indoor slope
Largest indoor ski hall in the Netherlands, and wonderfully quiet in the summer. Highly recommended if you want to sit in the snow again.
Very nice the hotel is large the toboggan run is nice and quite long the climbing park is also nice and the food is good
Very nice activity to do once, all the things you need for skiing or snowboarding can be rented separately. The indoor slope is well maintained and is for an indoor slope of a fairly common length. In addition, the food options are extensive and it is also possible to have a drink (this time is not counted as ski time and therefore does not count on the time purchased). All in all definitely recommended, although we found it quite pricey but that was in itself to be expected.
Staff does not run fast, have been waiting for 45 minutes for a drink. Were not the only table where it took a long time. We were easily fobbed off when we approached. With a smile. But operation did not get any faster. Unfortunately. Climbing was a lot of fun. Despite carona and heat it was very busy. But doable. Climbing is really great. Despite being quite scary and exciting. Explanation is good for climbing. So that's great activity.
But restaurant could get better management.
Lots of people in the Christmas holiday. The lesson was very nice.
Had a beautiful day, first had a ski lesson, and the rest of the day nice skiing, you can eat well, staff is friendly, everything neat, highly recommended for a day of skiing or snowboarding, we had a hotel stay and for a few euros (5 I thought) you can upgrade your ski pass from 4 hours to 8 hours free skiing, had a delicious breakfast very well cared for friendly woman, we also climbed the stairs next to the hotel and it has a beautiful view.
Great ski and fun, friendly person who does not make a fuss about eg exchange a snowboard to skis. The interior is also cozy with more than enough options for extra entertainment.
Enough parking space. A lot of room for skiing and snowboarding. Always nice there and good atmosphere.
Well maintained track and ideal / unique with a chair lift. Good for each other and a great location to start the ski season!
3 small dots:
- if you want to eat something it is a bit awkward that you first have to take the stairs down and then up again on your ski boots
- the ski lift could be a bit faster, but that is perhaps also an unfair comparison with the long lifts in the Alps
- the benches of the ski lift do hang very low when getting in, so that your knee is at an uncomfortable angle
The activity was not properly arranged from snowworld. That way our outing would be guided. And we were put in a far too small hole and it was said here everything is and our guide sat down at the bar. The food was pretty good. But also after this we were left alone instead of being guided to our next location / activity, while this was discussed!
Good sevice with friendly employees. A bit busy on the slopes.
Very nice, but bales of coins for cupboards! it costs 50 cents each time you open it. You don't have that of course! you have to withdraw money, then change. In addition to this money, a very unfriendly method of preparation with children. That really could be better.
Someone who loves skiing makes this a great place for beginners and advanced skiers
Rushing with tires was very disappointing. Not worth the money.
Wow, just started practicing for 2 hours. Well arranged there! Never felt like anyone was missing out!
Unfortunately again not TOP ... but bad!
Since you want to use the evening and what is ... a track for training of athletes locked!
And on the other slope was a 40sqm tarpaulin for 2 hours because it rained through the roof!
But you take the full entrance fee instead of informing the customers. (there was 1 DIN A4 sheet as info on the entire counter!)
Otherwise we would have driven again!
The evening was only worth 50%!
Half power = half price or?
Pity!
Otherwise, a great facility.
Not bad with the chairlift, but the supervision is very poor. There are absolute beginners taking the "red" slope and crashing into ongoers, children that almost got a chairlift to the head that wasnt seen by the lifties(no helmet either) and my girlfriend took a bad fall, however a instructor didnt even stop to check if she needed help (i was already down at the end of the slope). He just circled around her like nothing was wrong, even though she was down for a few minutes untill I could reach her. Very poor example for his student and frankly he shouldn't be teaching anyway because the guy couldn't snowboard that well himself...
Unclear information in the mail. We had to be present '45 minutes' for our trial lesson. What is it, fifteen minutes or three quarters? So, we arrived half an hour in advance and it was terribly busy. Snowworld would do well to indicate which days are busy and which are not. If we had known in advance that Sunday was a busy day, perhaps we should have gone another day. Now we didn't know anything.
Once there, we were already 'too late', but we had to wait extra long because the desk at the clothing rental was unmanned. On a very busy day. We do not think that is possible.
We ended up at our trial lesson 20 minutes later, even though we arrived well on time. Our question whether something could be arranged for this was not answered satisfactorily. We had to either wait three hours, or join the class and settle for less time. Ridiculous, given the hefty price that had to be paid for it. All in all: Commercial junk, only after money and little or no service.
Super of course with that chairlift, only that you have to pay for parking is a disadvantage.
Good offers on weekends and ideal area for non-skiers for a walk followed by coffee in the ski hall
A really good alternative to Neuss or Bottrop.
Decent slopes in good condition.
The slope length is OK, it's fun - and that's it
Clean gastronomy, good offer. There's something for every taste here.
Price performance OK!
Hello, this week with my grandchildren was the first time for skiing beginners. Want to praise the staff Super Super have a lot of patience and make an effort.Greatly thanked Groetjes en Hartelijk
Nice to go for an evening but generally quite pricey. Lifts go well snow is fine only later in the day / evening there will be ice plates. A shame about certain people who come with the patience of a pancake. Can eat well but there are also reasonable prices but plenty of choice. And in the summer season you can do much more than just go in the snow.
Beautiful large ski slope with different types of lifts. Good in preparation for skiing holidays. Cozy ski hut on the slopes. Also not too bad to eat a snack. Children could get a little more fun with a play corner. Sometimes this is present and the children can color.
