A Saturday night snowboarding ...... (don't get me wrong, normally I try to go during the week) but it was very disappointing tonight ... it was busy, the slopes were lousy, bumps and ice shelves, but there were 2 big things ...

1: it was fighting at the chairlift, and then there were still often gondolas with 2 or 4 people going up instead of 6 because people wanted to go together and then stop things for a round ...... this could be better arranged with staff from my point of view ......

And
2: and this one is the most dangerous ... the amount of inexperienced, perilous skiers and boarders throwing themselves off the slopesur absurd! And then hear people say that they will survive .... yes, they will, but those they cannot avoid in their journey often do not get off very well, with a ski or board in their neck! A friend of ours had a big pulse because of someone like that, of whom you could clearly see that she was not in charge, and received no guidance ..... or the group of friends who laughed like a friend of theirs as an rocket went down ..... again a point for staff? At the bottom of the lift it really says "only advanced" ..... or something in that trend .....

Snowworld, you will certainly see me again, just not on the disappointing Saturday night .... and hopefully always safe and with a smile .....

Very entertaining but for the first time very disturbing that there were no teachers available. It was indicated in advance that I could easily get a private teacher and otherwise take a group lesson, but both were not possible on location.

When I started messing around myself, both practice slopes were almost completely occupied by a few CIOS classes. Fully claimed by the teachers who were available and also not taking into account others who would like to learn or try it.

Everything else fine!

Fun

You ask at the ticket desk if Piste 1 is open to the public. You buy the tickets, you are on the slopes and it turns out that track 1 is not open to the public at all. You go back to the ticket desk, explain this and they are not aware that piste 1 is closed. The choice for the tickets was made because track 1 would be open, but then suddenly they don't want to help you anymore. As a guest you are disadvantaged by internal miscommunication at Snowworld, but they are not willing to propose a solution. Always refer to the 'current' information on the website. I can nevertheless assume that the ticket counter also has this current information and provides the correct information to the customer. It is a pity that Snwoworld itself does not take responsibility for the communication error and also meets the customer.

Long slope, I am learning snowboarding, now with the corona the crowds can certainly be done better .. The hotel only has small bedrooms but the bed is great and the food that I have already been able to taste there is also ok not high quality but certainly tasty. The staff, you have super friendly people who are at the entrances, for example, but the service in the cafeteria really left us wanting. Really bad .. In the restaurant they were nice and friendly.
