Smoked meat sandwich is amazing, must try while in Montreal!!! Just look at the layers , it's very tender as well..

A montreal classic. Order the lean old fashioned smoked meat and you will never forget it. Get some fried verenikas on the side with fried onions and your experience is complete.

It was the best smoked meat sandwiches I've ever had! Also very kind and excellent service even though they were very busy when I was there. Definitely recommended!

You can't beat Snowdon Deli. Truly they make you feel like family and the food is so comforting. You're not going here for light fare. You're going here for smoked meat, knish as big as your head and matzo soup to warm your soul.

I went with family because my grandmother remembered the deli from when she lived in the area 50+ years ago. It was still amazing.

Ok smoked meat and good stuffed chicken sandwiches. The coleslaw is average and the fries aren't good. Think Schwartz without the waiting line -which isn't saying much since schwartz stopped being good years ago -.

Great smoked meats with huge portions if you order the platter instead of a sandwich for a little bit of extra $$$ (if you can't finish it, pack it to go). Staff are very friendly and helpful. Very authentic deli and local diner feel. Came here with a friend after being told it was better than Schwartz and did not regret the trek. No lines/wait in comparison as well. I recommend checking out at the front when there is no one waiting to pay as the process can tend to take a while.

Cheap, authentic Jewish food. Their menu is endless and everything that I tried was delicious. This is the type of restaurant you always want to go back to.

Fair prices for top quality food, even my 10 month old baby loved the meat! It is really better then Schwartz & Reubens. The meat melts in your mouth & it explodes with juices and flavours. The poutine well i think i ll let the picture speak for me. As for the staff & owners they make you feel like you are apart of their family. <3 <3 <3

Possibly the worst breakfast I've ever had. I guess they compensate with lunch.

Perfect for a quick, easy meal. Not only is their smoked meat /deli selection delicious, but they have fabulous big breakfasts at very reasonable prices. Omelette with salami, homefries and toast is around $11.00. Very big variety. Great takeout counter, and the staff is efficient and very friendly.

Strongly recommend it. I don't usually post reviews but am going out of my way to post the review for this one because I enjoyed my breakfast so much. It is not a fancy restaurant but ones you would see in the neighbourhood.

Very flling portion size, friendly and prompt staff, and most of all great food with very affordable price! Paid $13 for 2 egg delux breakfast with crepe and bacon which came with 2 eggs, 3-4 stripes of real dried bacon, huge portion of home fries, two pieces of fruit, 4 pieces of toasts (2 full bread slices), a crepe, and tea. All of us thought there was something wrong with the bill because of the price was so low compared to how much food we had.

I seriously enjoyed every bite of everything I had. Packed the leftovers as I didn't want to regret leaving any food behind. My friend had a smoke meat sandwich and loved it. Another friend had potato latkes and loved it as well. I would love to go back to this place whenever I can. Too bad I did not take any pictures. Parking was available on the street and free on sunday morning until 1 pm.

I'm going to give you a very controversial hot take here: The smoked meat sandwich is the best in Montreal. I know. Of course I've been to all the others over the past decades. This is the spot. And perhaps the best thing they serve? Party sandwiches. Really.
