Just received a surprise gift from this fabulous place. What joy! Overnight shipment, greens, herbs, flowers, root veggies, all beautiful and beautifully packaged. Lovely gift cards and note. I had just made soup and threw all the herbs into the pot--the tarragon is especially divine. This is just the kind of place I love; thank you, Farmer Jones, for what you do.

About The Chef's Garden

The Chef's Garden: A Sustainable Agricultural Pioneer

The Chef's Garden is a family-owned farm located in Huron, Ohio, that has been at the forefront of the sustainable agricultural movement for over 30 years. The farm was founded by Farmer Lee Jones and his family, who have dedicated their lives to growing the freshest and most flavorful produce possible while also protecting the environment.

Perpetually clad in his trademark overalls and a red bowtie, Farmer Lee Jones is a pioneer of the sustainable agricultural movement. So is his entire family! They have been working tirelessly to promote sustainable farming practices that not only benefit their customers but also protect our planet.

At The Chef's Garden, they believe that food should be grown with care and respect for nature. That's why they use only natural methods to grow their crops. They don't use any synthetic pesticides or fertilizers that can harm the environment or compromise the quality of their produce.

Instead, they rely on innovative techniques like crop rotation, cover cropping, and composting to maintain healthy soil and prevent pests from taking over. They also use beneficial insects like ladybugs and lacewings to control harmful pests naturally.

One of the unique things about The Chef's Garden is that they work closely with some of the world's top chefs to develop new varieties of vegetables that are not only delicious but also visually stunning. Their produce has been featured in some of America's finest restaurants such as The French Laundry in Napa Valley and Eleven Madison Park in New York City.

Their commitment to sustainability doesn't stop at growing vegetables; it extends throughout every aspect of their business operations. For example, they use solar panels to generate electricity for their farm operations; they recycle all waste materials generated on-site; they even have an electric car charging station available for visitors!

In addition to supplying fresh produce directly to chefs across America through its online store "Farmer Jones Farm," The Chef’s Garden offers educational tours where visitors can learn about sustainable agriculture practices firsthand from Farmer Lee Jones himself!

Overall, if you're looking for high-quality produce grown sustainably by people who truly care about what they do – look no further than The Chef’s Garden!
