Great venue to ring in the Independence Day holiday. Beautiful surroundings and accommodations. Veterans were free. As always, the Utah Symphony was amazing and inspirational, all while playing the patriotic favorites that we have all grown to love.
Summer is a great time to visit. Plenty of hiking trails, a wonderful playground for the kids, and a learning center. Wildflowers are still bright and colorful among the trees. Look for fleabane and larkspur patches to enjoy. Moose loop trail has a short trail section and a longer route to explore. Views are to die for.
Greatest Snow on Earth! I love this place! It kinda sucks they keep selling out the locals but Jr is just greedy, Earl is probably rolling in his grave. I'm good with it though. The worst part of the whole deal is parking.
Great lodge, awesome bathrooms. Can't speak to the slopes, but the members of our group who went had a good time. Different runs for different levels, jumps on some of them.

I love Snowboarding, & Basin is a great place to do it. Diverse terrain, friendly staff, delicious staff, & overpriced mediocre drafts. Really couldn't ask for more, except for maybe a couple darker drinks on draft...
UPDATE: DO NOT go to Snowbasin. The crowd problem I described below is about a thousand times worse. There is always a ridiculously large amount of people here. EVEN ON WEEKDAYS when work is skipped I struggle to find a place to park my car. They NEED A PASS CAP, as it stands now, Snowbasin doesn't care about you or your experience, they care about selling as many passes as possible and making the largest profit. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE UNLESS YOU WANT TO SKI WITH THE REST OF UTAH ON THE MOINTAIN!!!!
The skiing is good. Food gets worse every year. More and more people come every season. They need a pass cap. Also, the staff can't even let you bring your own food in the lobby without having a fit, that probably requires a $3000 pass upgrade, because it wasn't enough in the first place I guess.
This place is a really fun place to go to with friends. There s also tons of room to maneuver around but it is overly crowded with people
My kids did the learn and earn program. They LOVED it. All three kids had really great instructors. They learned much quicker than if I had tried to teach them. Very expensive and yet worth every single dollar. No regrets.
The service was great. The buildings are clean. The skiing was definitely for experts. I just didn't feel like I had a good time with the skiing provided. I'd go somewhere else for my intermediate skill level.

This is the most send place of all the send places. Winter time makes me want to get my send-o-vision and send it all. I guess the fall spring and summer is good too but you can't skii unless there's snow so...
Great resort. I had a blast on skis. This place is pretty big. We had a great time.
Fall colors are looking good right now. Makes for an excellent mountain bike ride or hike through the mountains. Snow season is coming soon ! Remember in the summer the lift opens up so you can get a great view of the green mountains as well!

Snowbasin Resort is great! The runs are quite long and the lodges are really nice too (lots of fire places to get warmed back up!). There is terrain here for everyone.
I've only been here for mountain biking, but the facilities are beautiful.
Kinda far out, not a lot of lodging, but it's a beautiful place.
Terrible visibility on the day I went! Ended up with bruised ribs because of this! Runs were hardly groomed and there wasn't enough variation in difficulty for different skill levels.
The location and views were awesome. The pizza was horrible and expensive. Very disappointing.

It's very pretty up there. We went in the middle of October. You can go biking, the mountains were still all groomed and nearly ready for winter and the snow fall

Love Snowbasin! It s beautiful there! I don t snowboard or ski though so my review may not be best for those looking for input on those activities. But the facilities are absolutely gorgeous, the little bit of staff I ve interacted with has always been helpful and friendly . And I still say to this day that they have some of if not the nicest bathrooms I ve ever been in in my life!
Did the Spartan race here. The Spartan race was pretty tough. The Ski resort is a beautiful and the views were exceptional.
Blues brews bbq. Thought the kids activities were supposed to be free. But nonetheless it was a great way to spend the day with my family and just Chill!!!
Me and 16 kids fly in from California and stop at snow basin. We were told us the restraint was open for food we checked all week when they were closing. We showed up at snow basin and asked again what time the restraint was closing. We buy the tickets to go up and we arrive at the restraint it is closed. They lied all week to us and when we get there. We told them the only reason we came here was for the restraint. We would like a refund no deal they got the money and they were not giving it back. Great place don't trust them if they will steal money from kids.
Me and my wife were married here a year ago today. Earls lodge was the absolute best venue for us and all of our friends and family. Just amazing. I had no idea how to plan for a wedding but Carly and her staff were incredible and took care of everything. They even let us customize from their original menu because we wanted to serve breakfast instead!
Absolutely great skiing, beautiful views, and great customer service. I've never been to Utah before and Snowbasin was included on my powder alliance pass. I just finished my second day of skiing and I haven't been disappointed. The skiing and trail variety is very good. I wouldn't rate myself very highly as a skier, I can do the vast majority black diamonds with some confidence, but I suspect that has more to do with me being 19 and fearless(read:senseless) than technical ability. The majority of the resort and trails are fast blue runs down to base camp, however they can get a little bit boring so switching to black diamonds once you build confidence is made really easy because most connect the mainline blue trails to each other. There was minimal ice the days that Ive been skiing and the 8:45 groom is fast as hell. Also the resort staff is great. I had to rectify a problem at the front desk thing with a woman named Patty and she took care of me super quickly which was really appreciated. Also, and this is really random, but the bathrooms around snowbasin are suitable for royalty. Didn't try any of the food because I brought my own, but Ill update if I do. Also! There are busses that go to Snowbasin daily from Ogden and Layton! If you're in another part of Salt Lake, hop on the front runner and Layton and Ogden stations are where the busses leave from. Super convenient. Although, I would be wary of weekends and holidays because a bunch of middle school kids ride the bus and there is NO check on behavior for any of them. I would advise getting to the stop early if you are planning on a weekend and a holiday.
Snowbasin is an awesome ski area. They have a wide variety of terrain and groomers for whatever style you ride. Facilities are world class and very luxurious. The views are incredible, worth a trip in a gondola even if you don't ski or board.
The Needles tram ride in the summer and the hike to the ridgeline are a stunning blast!

I've been going to Snowbasin for 15 years and love it! Excellent skiing in the winter, plenty of hiking and mountain biking in the summer, and fun events year round.
I never write reviews unless it is to disclose something negative that I feel people should be aware of. Snowbasin is breaks my trend. I give this resort an A+ thanks to their outstanding service.
My wife and I visited Snowbasin for the day and enjoyed it very much. Once our skiing was done we went to the shop to buy stickers. I like to put a sticker on my board for every resort we visit. We bought a bunch of stickers and then took some pictures before we went back home. When we got home we realized that we forgot the stickers!!! A few days later Sherry called me to let me know that they had found our stickers. When I called back, I spoke to Lee who took my mailing address and mailed the stickers to me! Service like that is above and beyond the call of duty. Well done Snowbasin. Well done.
Although snow is a bit scarce, the runs were well maintained. The crowds were huge!! The lines for tickets were about an hour long. Once on the mountain it wasn't bad. The staff was great. Terrain is top notch! Once the remaining lifts are own with more snow it will be perfect!

Snowbasin is definitely a first-class ski resort experience that also offers some excellent and varied terrain for those looking for more of a challenge.
Snowbasin is an awesome resort. I think their day pass ticket prices are quite a bit more expensive than sometimes the experience is worth, especially on really busy days. I feel like they should have a cap on how many tickets they sell based on the amount of the mountain that is open, or at least start selling discounted tickets after a point. As a season pass holder I still love skiing at snowbasin though. Great terrain, and often really great snow.
