I have tried calling multiple times to get info not published on there site and all day answering machine saying no one is there
I think it's just bad business if you cant answer your calls.

The staff is AMAZING! Super helpful and incredibly nice! The sleds were tons of fun. The food court is pretty nice, I loved that they had veggie burgers. This place was definitely worth the trip :)

Nice little family-owned resort that is a lot of fun to ride, when there's plenty of snow! Also a great place to learn for beginner riders with different terrain and easy to get off lifts! If you get a good deal online for a pack of lift-tickets, it's the best value riding in the area!

We don't ski. Went purely for the snow play area. On Friday afternoon it was empty. Didn't pay to park and no one checked for a lift ticket, so we just walked in, played for a half hour and left. Sunday morning was a different story. Wasn't too crowded, but had to pay to park and to play in the snow. Luckily the parking fee was refunded when we bought the play tickets. Very pricey for an hour or two of playing. Something like $130 for our family of 4. Ended up paying for me and my kids, and my wife just watched from the deck to save money.

The sled was fun. Kids (8 and 5) were scared at first but had fun going on it a few times. You can go down fast or slow using your feet to brake and steer, so it's fun for all levels and fear tolerances.

If it had snowed at all during the season we wouldn't have wasted money going here... Would have found a Hill near our rental home and had fun. But since we had no choice, it was ok. Might go back... Might not. If it was cheaper for snow play and sledding we'd be back in a heartbeat.

Great

Just called about the RIM youth program and a Kim answered she was very short, not helpful, no phone etiquette, got nothing by calling.. They need to hire someone who can really help not take up office space. So annoyed and I live locally.. Hope she don't treat the tourists this way.. They have a job because of them.

Do not rent equipment here. We waited about 2 1/2 hours to get skis and snowboards. Very unorganized with mass chaos. Still using carbon copy forms that need to be filled out. Lifts and runs are ok. I would ski here again but never ever rent equipment here.

Wow, I haven't skied in years and had the best time!! I must say the facility, organization, quality and quantity of top of the line rental equipment was terrific. The staff was terrific, all friendly and helpful. My granddaughter was enrolled in the children's classes, she got a little scared, however the staff was great, Tricia, was especially helpful and made all the difference!! She completed her class and we will all be back! I had the best time! That new chair lift is really great!!

Pretty small bike park, not too many trails, but a whole lot of fun. Usually empty as well, making it more open and more fun. Not too much for raw beginners but someone with at least a little bike control can take the lift and make it down just fine. Great smooth jump line for experienced riders, huge jumps. Enduro bike can do just about everything and I would recommend it over a downhill here.

Snow valley is the only resort on the mountain for us. Staff are always friendly and helpful, you can't beat the ticket prices and skiing is great! The sun always shines and makes the snow food and soft. Going back soon.

Fairly small Big Bear area ski hill. Close to Downtown LA, (70 miles). Not a lot of vertical or skiable acres, but the new 6-person hi-speed detachable chair moves people up the hill much faster than before. Great place for a mid-week daytrip and very family friendly. Also has tubing for non-skiers/boarders.

The price is look a little expensive but every thing was good. The parking fee is 10$ but if you buy tickets for lift you don t need to pay for parking. They serve alcohol beverage but it was cash only. Food quality and prices are acceptable. Stuff are friendly and good.

Guest Service Team's service is terrible. I have a last year pass because they shut down earlier by COVID-19. However, they don't honor for this. Even if I talk with a old lady manager of guest service team who is very rude to me. I won't go to snow valley anymore with my family and friends. Recommend better go to bear mountain and snow summit than this bad service snow valley.

Snow conditions were awesome and the new 6 person chairs is great. Food is pretty expensive but lift ticket prices and packages make up for it. Everyone was very friendly and there were plenty of people to guide when help was needed.

I would have given this place 5 stars if it weren't for the obnoxious, horrendously loud music blasting from the Deer Meadow Grille in the middle of the day. I couldn't hear anything or talk to anyone when I stopped at the grille to grab a bite to eat, and the music wasn't even good. The decibel level should have been cut in half, and it would have still been more than loud enough for people to dance to and enjoy.

Other than the unpleasant music, Snow Valley is an awesome ski/snowboard resort, with great trails and good customer service. It is a good environment, not overcrowded, scenic, and it has trails for all skill levels. It has a very wide, practically flat beginner trail at the base of the mountain that is excellent for first-time skiers or snowboarders to practice, but it also has a good selection of Black Diamond trails. Sometimes an entire additional section of the mountain is open ABOVE Snow Peak (the top of the Snow Valley Express chairlift), with three other chairlifts leading to Slide Peak. Slide Peak is a Mt. Baldy-esque section of the resort with even less people and more intermediate and black diamond trails. I highly recommend Snow Valley for both beginners and experts!

It's pretty great especially when they have the second mountain open, but even with the second mountain closed it can be a lot of fun. It's not the highest quality or largest mountain like you would get from mammoth, but for how inexpensive it is, I would say it's always worth it. It's a great mountain for beginners and a nice cheap experience for better skiers/snowboarders.

We are 4 year supporters of this small family oriented ski/board resort. Always have been pleased with this place, though our visit there yesterday, Jan 3, food service was miserable due to the crowds. I emailed the resort today Jan 4 at 3:42pm, at 4:06pm, the GM responded with a sincere apology and explanation that due to the recent storm, this was their busiest last few days they have experienced in years and their intent to improve so this doesn't happen again. Due to this amazing customer service, we will continue to support this place and will be hoping for a snow filled season!

I heard from my bike mechanic that this is an up and coming place, so I gave it a try. I absolutely love it! Even though this bike park is new and doesn't have as many trails as other nearby parks, the ones they have are longer, more flowy, and very well made. And there's clearly a lot of room to grow. They got a brand new 6-pack chairlift and fancy new bike lifts that you can roll your bike onto easily. The trails all meet up mid mountain, so you can easily mix up your laps. I highly recommend and will be back often.

Me and my family enjoyed our time at Snow Valley Mt. We're so happy that there was plenty of snow to play in. Especially my grandson who saw it snow for the first time! Actually, it was my first time to see it snow as well. :-D

10+ years ago I had a snowboard stolen here. I came back for the first time since that day with my family for Xmas Eve skiing this year and had a great time. It wasn't busy, the snow was great (fresh snowfall 2 days prior) and the staff were super friendly. I was extra vigilant and no one swiped my snowboard this time around.

My children and I really enjoyed the mountain. We have a cabin and the commute to the train is very affordable and convenient. We usually go twice a year. They do need to update the lodge sitting area to include some fire places and better food. The food is cheesy and less desirable.

Very rude and disrespectful staff at the ticket window as well as the gate!
The snow quality was terrible(so many rocks out) as well as its three runs. The advanced run was closed and literally dry with no trace of snow! Super crowded and all beginner skiers which makes it so hard for advanced skiers!
Their two ski-patrols were truly responsive and professional!
Overall, not worth the price at all especially that when in this crazy snowless season with all their terrains closed, except the two beginners runs, they still charge for the full price of the ticket! Absolutely ridiculous!

Excellent place for children to learn, the cost is reasonable, it is not the largest mountain but they have enough clues for children to learn and have fun. Not many people, good parking.

Nice place
