Our family has been coming to snow-valley for a few years now. Always very helpful staff, nice kids, and plenty of parking and open lifts. I recommend this place to beginners and intermediates like myself. Great place to start leaning how to snowboard or ski.

Only a few lifts were open. It looked like there was enough snow, so I think it was because there weren't enough people to open more. The new 6 person express lift is nice. The snow was a bit thin, but had coverage everywhere that mattered.

Ok price to get started and do some practice with the sport.

Their price is the lowest price among Big Bear Area. The stuff is friendly and patiently. I signed up for a learning class, instructor John is very nice and ask us to teach him how to say ban knees in Chinese, so that he can instruct us better. I really enjoy skiing here, although I cut my finger at the most steep route. Please remember wear gloves when you skiing!~

Lack of access in rear, you need to go around buildings to get any service. Handicap parking is behind buildings. You have to walk around to use facilities.

Great people in the restaurant! Very sweet!!! Not alot of snow this year, fun for the family still. Not to crowded. I recommend coming out on a T,W,Th!

It is especially a great place if you are a beginner or a beginner intermediate because it doesn't get to crowded during the week. They have great instructors and good friendly and helpful staff. It is very scenic. It is a good local hometown feeling. Jack is a great instructor.

Good place to have fun in snow even when it is artificial snow.

We went today about 2 o'clock and the place was overcrowded today and couldn't even get a tickets and the stuff was kind of rude overcrowded and the place sucks can't even park in the parking lot to wait for Ticket because security guys are checking on everybody. that sucks that they taking over over little spot of snow up there in big bear

A great place to learn snowboarding and skiing! It s a small resort so not many different routes and it only takes 6 to 7 minutes to come down from the highest lift route. The 4 any time lift tickets deal is amazing and it really worth the money that you pay.
The bar and restaurant serve good quality stuff but prices are a bit high, count on $30 for a beer and a burger.

Fun family spot but a lot of the activities seemed rundown.

Went skiing with one of my closest friends last month and going mid-week was one of the decisions we made. We had the slopes practically to ourselves. The staff is super friendly and while it was nearing the end of skiing/snowboarding season and some slopes were closed, we still had an amazing time.

Great resort for beginners and for a day trip up to the snow. The snow is pretty decent and getting in and out of here is much easier than driving all the way up to big bear proper. I m teaching my girlfriend to snowboard- and got lift tickets on sale at the beginning of the season, this is the perfect spot.

First time to Snow Valley. Everyone was really nice. The lessons were great, for kids and adults. The only down side was that most of the mountain isnt open, and a lot of the runs had dirt coming through the snow. Its early in the season, and I'm sure this will be remedied with a good natural snow!!

Staff is extremely rude and misinformed about their services.

Had a wonderful experience here. My son took a snowboarding class and was shredding the mountain that very same day. He is only 10. We also bought the snowboard and boots for $100 because he liked them so much after we rented them. Very good pricing, not too crowded, and all the staff was wonderful. We are coming back soon!!!

The bathroom situation here is a joke, way too small and too few. The staff is friendly. The rental equipment is adequate and in good condition although the processing of rental equipment can take over an hour. If you have to rent, get there early like 8AM, by 9:00 the line is out the door. Assuming we're taking about the weekend.

Went there to have a look at the new chairlift,awesome.

I thought nine was real. We thought we would see the mountains full of snow. Even so we had a lot of fun and everything got cold.

The runs are fine but it takes forever to go through the lines. It took 1 1/2 hrs to get the tickets and equipment.

We went there last month March 2018 and men no more snows, its all gone, a little snow was left (i think its just ice not a real snow) so we were still able to do sledding. I dont ski so that was pretty much i did, nothing much to do, but i still had fun. Going back there next year in January to see some fresh snows for sure.

Our fav family skiing destination. It is low key and perfect for learning skiers and boarders.

Our fave mountain to snowboard here in socal. Great local vibes and service is always excellent. Slopes are nicely groomed and taken care of, and the bar is fun and super chill. Good for beginners too if anyone is looking to get into the snow sports.

Great place for family skiing. Very good ski instructors. kids love going there.

Good place to ski, although the track is not so long, they have all levels from beginners to advanced, you can take companions and wait for you at the restaurant - bar and tables with outdoor music. Good group, you can spend the day very nice.

Friendly staff and great runs for all skill levels. We had a lot of fun. Their bloody Mary is pretty awesome too.

This was a great outing. The sledding was a lot of fun. You definitely want to get there as early as possible if there is no natural snow. At around noon the lines are way to long and start to get disorganized.

A very nice mountain resort with multiple routes. Includes double black diamond routes as well.

I can hardly wait for Christmas. This year, there will be great snow coverage and my family will, once again, spend Christmas at the Snow Valley Mountain Resort. Of course, January, February and March will also be a snow skiing extravaganza. Yeah!

Sledding is really not a thing. Very lane for anyone over the age of 7.

They've really expanded their sled runs this year. Very nice for the little ones.

Great place to go skiing/snowboarding. Just check and make sure you find out if the whole mountain or only part of it's open. It varies with snowfall.

The first Saturday of October Snow Valley supported a day in honor of FIRST RESPONDERS. Thank you so much. My grandson is becoming a CERT first responder. I've been on board for 2 years.

On October 14th they hosted the Pine Cone Festival.
Way to go Snow Valley.

Good experience for sledding. Take chair or walk up to sled down. Enjoyable day. Food pricey, saw others bring and prepare food. Very busy and looks snowy.

Brought our 3 year old for an afternoon of sledding. Jason on chair 12 was a gentleman and an entertainer for all the families. An epic day for everyone.

There was no checking of temperatures as people came to fill out their paperwork. There was social distancing and everybody had on a mask when someone used a pen to fill out their paperwork that pen was thrown away so it wouldn't be used again..but we still can't get into the dressing room to get our equipment and personal belongings. I had discussions with the powers it be about opening and limiting the number of people at the resort. And not let ting children come inside for the children's learning center registration. Things are being done we just have to see how they are practice once we get closer to opening. Trust me if it's not done properly I won't be there but I have faith and will be done if it isn't I'll let you know.I read it before because as an instructor I have equipment and personal belongings in the dressing room but they're not letting us in to get them yet that could be considered safety as well. So let's be positive

Great place. It can get quite expensive really quick, but the trip was worth it, and the kids loved it.

I always have a wonderful time here. My daughter took a snowboarding class and she was so happy. All the snowvalley team is super nice. Definitely recommend this place to come with the family!!

Unbelievably slow service! Waited a full hour to pick up lift tickets that were already purchased online, also arrived at 8:30am. Bathrooms were a nightmare, no toilet paper and so disgustingly dirty, clearly had not been cleaned the night before. You are unable to pick up rentals without standing in the lift ticket line first, insanely inefficient. Worst ski resort I have been to.

Huge bunny hill for beginners. The staff is friendly and awesome as well. I prefer this resort over the others in Big Bear.

Had a bad experience with the staff, I took my daughter and nice that came from Guatemala this was their fists time learning to ski. we were in line for 2 hours to get our rentals by the we got to the place where they were going to teach them. We pay for two hours and they taught they for only 20 minutes and my daughter after 20 minutes of instruction she had a break. Over all, not a good experience
