First time visit, second time snowboarding, the place was actually pretty busy as it was Friday night. Staff was great, easy check in, and I had so much fun. Definitely recommended if you're a beginner, I will surely come back.

The snow is great, to be honest I've always had a great experience with the reception staff, and friends seem to never have issues with rental equipment.

The restaurant however... It seems to be on a steady decline, staff seem like they don't love working there, service is sometimes sporadic at the best, it also seems very overpriced.

Reception lady is nice, store manager is okey. Other staff? I thought it s maybe they are racist? After I come back home, check out the review on google. ROFL, they treat everyone the same way. Hahah they need to training and learning what is customer services.

It s the ONLY ONE in NZ, what else we can choose

Great place to go when learning to ski or when you want to get some off season fitness. Staff are helpful but it can take time to get hire equipment. There is a limited number of runs, so not a great place to go to too often. There is a bar and cafe with big windows that overlook the skiing.

Recommended for people new to skiing/snowboarding because of a easy slope. One small jump and box. Other than that there isn t much else if you are a intermediate-expert skier/boarder. We did in fact spend 10 hours there in one day so you can definitely have your money s worth of fun in the off season.

We came on an off peak timing. It was perfect. When we got there, Sam was very helpful with explaining to us the procedure of payment and rental of equipment as it was our first time there.

What ticked me off was the aloof attitude of the workers at the rental station. We explained that it was our first time skiing and snow boarding. Staff shoved us off with a aura of inpatience even though there were only 2 of us at the rental station with 3 worker. They never showed the initiative to explain to us how to put on the ski or snow boare. I understand that many experience come and go, which eventually make their work there almost obselete because all the experience riders knowing the ins and outs. But I wouldn t call your staff passionate riders about the sport if they aren t willing to share their knowledge even after initiation to ask for tips on how to ride.

On the other hand, the place was kept in a very clean state. Very impressed by the facility and the cafe/ restaurant. Unfortunately, you can have the best facility in the world, but without a good service, I would not recommend or come back. Maybe hiring staff with more soft skills would be a good idea. I would not recommend it to anyone if it s your first time riding.

If the owner could reach out to me, I could provide a detail explaination of the personnel involved with dates and time. All I want is to ensure other first time riders do not experience what I did. Because the sport itself, is amazing and fun but as a first time rider, it provided a stereotype that all snow riders are prideful and unwilling to teach.

Took our early childcare group for some fun. OK prices but safety signage could be clearer. BYO helmets, boots and gear if you have them but able to hire if you don't have any. Recommend 1 to 1 supervision for under 5 Yr olds. Wonderland can be quite icy in places, you can book set times for your exclusive use but social distancing is your responsibility. Good clean toilets and changing areas. Cafe is warm for those who don't want to get cold. We had plenty of fun and would still go again.

Snowplanet was a great venue for our business meeting. The room had all we needed and the catering was of a very high standard. The booking process was simple and all went right on the day.
Having a chance to blow off some steam after lunch by partaking in Snow Games and Tubing was awesome, a great way to break up the day and so much fun - even those who didn't participate in the games had fun (laughing at the rest of us from the comfort of the restaurant :)
The team even went the extra mile for us when we realised we'd left behind our flipchart notes, retrieving them from the bin the next morning!

Great place to learn and practice snowboarding and skiing. Lounge area also is very good and comfy! Staff is very kind and the tracks are good to practice. My only concern is sometimes you can get a very old and used boot (if you rent), and past 20min you foot is freezing with cold water inside. They need to change some old equipment.

Fun day out with the kids for a school trip, bloody hot outside, and cold inside, but once you get going, loads of fun - even just sliding down the slopes on the tubes (I may have possibly enjoyed this more then skiiing)!

Wow! The Winter Wonderland and Santa was exceptional this year! Love the whole experience. The skiing itself is an outstanding experience and we absolutely love going. Perfect for kids- there is a nursery slope area for novices and plenty of space for those with experience. Patient and experienced tutors are available to coach you if you want. Heaps of fun, could not recommend more highly. Also check out the restaurant after for a great, reasonably priced meal.

Went there for a work function. There were quite a few of us none that have been here before. We had no idea what to do. There was no customer service to guide us or help us with any questions we had. We were just tubing. There was no help to tell us where to go, what to do or any safety instructions. The tubing area was littered with foam stand ups that you had to climb over to get to the top of the tubing slide. As I said there was no help whatsoever. Very disappointed.

We had a ball. Well not a ball, but a great time on skis (no balls involved unless you count the ones I needed to have my first go from the top).

Our experience couldn't have been better. The process of renting gear was easy, and the field was great. It was my first time skiing and what an easy way to start.

Once we had finished skiing it was on to the good in the restaurant. Equally great and an easy way to relax and warm up.

A little small (you can go from top to botto in less than 30 seconds, and it's expensive during regular hours. But if you can get there for after 6pm, it's only $27, not a bad deal to get in a little practice before the season kicks off!

Awesome place to learn how to snowboard or ski. Was my first time there and there was a lot of people there doing all sorts of tricks from the top. Was fun to watch. I stayed in the learning area and was nervous but saw there were others also trying to learn on their own which was a good experience. Awesome facilities. Changing room area is good. Restaurant area is lovely with a beautiful view of all the snow action.
