Judy Fu and David Fu, you are a geniuses. If you have yet to try the Jiao-zi from Snappy Dragon you may need to reconsider your life. They are absolutely the best in Seattle. I would recommend the pork and to go ahead and get the order of 26. 15 won't be enough.
I also had the Mongolian Beef which was so perfect with tender slices of beef in just enough sauce. It was a great end to a great weekend at Snappy Dragon.

My favorite Chinese restaurant. I always visit when I'm in Seattle. Used to be my go to for take out when I lived there. Fried rice and wontons are some of my favorites.

Great food! I was suprised when I was looking for a restaurant by the mall this was not what I expected. Parking is nuts but this place gets packed and stays busy! Again REALLY good food!

I love many of their dishes. However, the dishes I enjoy are not prepared with consistency. Meaning the kung pao chicken I get one day may not taste the same as the one I order on another day.

I had to give them 3 stars... In the past I thought they had great food and really great delivery, But the last two times I ordered takeout they had sent me the wrong order. Then when I got the right order the food seemed off to me. It looked and tasted really salty and very greasy. I'm a fan of them so I will give them once more chance and see if there food and service improves for me.

The food was amazing! The owner David was incredibly friendly and even though he was clearly busy, he took the time to come to our table and tell us many stories. Great experience!

Best homemade noodles on the planet... We call them crack-noodles because of the need that you must have more.

My favorite Chinese food place around. Delicious jiao-zi (dumplings) and the handmade noodles are so good!

We ordered four dishes and they were all flavorless. We were super excited to try this place, and it was disappointing. Moo goo gai pan sauce tasted like nothing at all. Bao was thick and dry. Fried prawns were basically encased in a giant flavorless donut.

We were on vacation for a week, and our AirB&B was in Maple Leaf, so Snappy Dragon was just a short walk. It was on a Sunday evening, so the place was pretty busy. About a 15 minute wait. With that being said, the wait was worth it. We started out with spring rolls and wontons. The wontons were absolutely delicious! Some of the best I've ever had. For entrees I ordered Sesame Chicken. Loved the sauce. The chicken is a good quality, not like typical Chinese restaurant in the South. My wife had the Sweet and Sour Chicken. It was unfortunately a little on the bland side, but still very good. I would definitely recommend this place to anybody in the area.

Food is great and plentiful, but eating in is a very noisy experience. Which helps explain the looong lines for take out.

The dumplings are top notch! Very reasonably priced and friendly serving staff, too!

First time getting dinner here. Drove from Lynnwood and was a little concerned about price. Got home and realized quanty of food was much more than I had expected. All of us will have lunch tomorrow ready to go. Their attention to details like adding cardboard to the bag to keep boxes from being crushed was very nice. We have found our new Chinese food restaurant. Also their set up for take out orders is smooth and easy.

Everything here is awesome; the dumplings, the specials, and, especially, the Fu family. Great place to dine in or take out.

No. If you have any kind of standards for Chinese food, or if you've been to the International District at all, you'll probably be disappointed. If you grew up eating cheap Chinese-themed fast food, then here's your opportunity to get exactly that for twice the money.

Dumpling's skin was too thick.
Eggplant was battered with too much flours.
Their pork was ok.

One of my preferred spots for delicious chinese food. Service is always excellent even when they have a full house. There was quick and friendly service. This place has a good atmosphere.

Food was good, but took longer than they said it would (30 min instead of 20 min). Kind of expensive, 1 chicken entree, 2 fried rices, a veggie dish, sliced bbq pork, and homemade noodles came to $70. Oh, and they forgot to include steamed rice, so make sure you ask for it.

Take out order quoted at 45 minutes, which is okay for a busy place known for high quality. But actual time was about 75 or 80 minutes on the order. Stood in their tiny lobby crowded by others waiting for their food. Got home and realized the taste of the Mongolian Beef was good but the meat was extremely low quality, lower grade meat probably than a Panda Express or Taco Bell. The cashew shrimp was mediocre at best. Pot stickers were doughy and too large for the sauce cup given to dip them. The sauces were good, the execution of the dishes and the speed of service were poor. No one working there seemed bothered to be so far behind, either... like it's a normal thing. Being busy is cool, but be honest and aware and have a sense of urgency about it.

They deliver. That is the only positive for snappy dragon. I have gotten takeout and delivery here about 10 times in the last three years. The fried rice is decent but everything else is greasy and flavorless. But the worst part is the complete airheads who staff their phones. I was put on hold 3 times while one went to talk to the manager and the other kept asking for the order. Then she hung up before getting my address or what I needed. Clueless!

Awesome place to eat food when in a rush. Their service is speedy, prices are convenient, fantastic character. Keep up the good work

General Cho's is the best. Their Won Ton soup is great, too.

Excellent food, friendly family atmosphere and good prices. It s our family go-to place.

I called in a take out order and was told it would be 45 minutes. So, my 4 year old and I got there after 45 minutes to pick it up... We waited over an hour and a half for our food. I watched at least two groups walk up and order take out AFTER mine had already been late; and those orders we filled BEFORE ours. I'm still seething.

Vegetable spring rolls are bland, the sweet and sour sauce is the consistency of jello. The vegetable chow mein is mainly just salty noodles and 5 chunks of bell pepper, three pieces of broccoli and I think two strands of lettuce plus some onion and mushrooms.

Uhh... I've eaten chow mein at many different places, including a teriyaki place not much from this restaraunt and there is mass flavor in their sauce which the noodles and vegetables are drenched in.

Today was my first time trying this place and I was very disappointed. 2 stars because it was edible just not fulfilling.

The food here is so good, at a good price, and you get a ton for your money. The service, if you go in is a bit slow, but nothing that s a big deal for sure, makes the time you spend going and sitting down more relaxing. I got the sweet and sour chicken and it was delicious, the dumplings are great, too. Definitely will go back, SO GOOD.

Came here on recommendations that this place was a must try of Chinese food. I ordered the Snappy Dragon Chow mein with hand cut noodles which comes with beef chicken shrimp and vegetables. I got 1 piece of broccoli, 2 pieces of chicken 4 pieces of beef and 2 shrimp. What I got was primarily a plate full of noodles cooked in noodle water. It was so flavorless. We were the first to arrive for dinner so being busy was not an excuse.

I will maybe try again another time but I was really dissatisfied and disappointed.

Ants-climbing-up-a-tree is thin glass noodles with slightly prickly ground pork - chef special.
Dumplings are outstanding.
Soft noodles are outstanding, if you like mild dishes.

Um....not very good Asian food. Went twice -- once for noodles and dumplings, once for entrees with a large group -- just to make sure before posting a negative review.
It's a fine restaurant, run very well, with decent quality and portions (prices a bit high), but what they're serving up here is so heavily modified that it's AMERICAN food, not Chinese.
This place made its reputation back when there weren't any non-Cantonese (ie, non Dim-Sum) restaurants in the Seattle area. Times change. Go to Bellevue or Lynnwood now and pay 1/4 the price for better, tastier, authentic food in the same style.
Not kidding. Potstickers sold 6 per order here; on the Eastside usually orders of 12-20, higher quality too: tastier filling, less doughy wrappers, also handmade in-house. (Even Din Tai Fung is cheaper per unit).
Nothing wrong with American-style modifications, just don't be fooled by this restaurant making it on several Best of lists in the Asian category. You won't get anything approaching authentic flavors.
This is the suburban (Midwest) restaurant from "A Christmas Story", serving up generic Tiki-room Asian-themed food. I understand there is a market niche for that, but let's be clear. It's like saying Totino s pizza rolls (which I love!) are Italian food (which they are not). If you find the food at other Chinese restaurants too aggressively spiced, too oily, or simply too foreign, Snappy Dragon might be just the right place for you.

I would give 0 if I could. We order at least once a week last week they messed up totally and gave us raw chicken this week it's been 2.5 hours and no food they said they wrote the wrong number down and didn't offer anything said it would be another 40 min their food is not that good not eating there again and their manager doesn't seem to care

I have concluded that the good people in Seattle give out 5 stars for a full belly, not for high flavor food. That or they don't know what good is in the area. All the food I ordered (about 7 different plates) had the most bland and boring flavors of any hunan or Szechwan style I've ever had. The staff was kind and courteous the entire time and the vibe is really nice at this place.

Really delicious. I've had several things, but always grab fried pork potstickers. I really enjoy the Snappy Dragon Chow Mein with fresh rolled/cut noodles! Delivery is always accurate and food arrives hot.

This is a review from someone who regularly goes here with someone with celiac disease. This place is phenomenal. The portion sizes are massive, the menu has a lot of options, and they are fantastic and knowledgeable about gluten and cross-contamination. The food is pretty dang fantastic. My first experience here was underwhelming, but it was a fluke. I have been back here more than a dozen times since and every other time has been perfect.

Homemade noodles and jiao-zi are the best! If you're lucky you'll see Judy folding dumplings at the table in the back while you're there.

We went to Snappy Dragon on the Sunday before Labor Day, but oddly enough it wasn't too crowded. The food was delicious as always. Be careful with the Pikachu Punch, though. They can really pack a wallop!

They have a very bad customer service in this place. I went there in the lunch time and they weren't busy; however after wait for 7 minutes for someone to bring the food menu I decided to leave the place.

The food is excellent. We ordered Take Out on Saturday evening. I highly suggest ordering at least an hour or more out. The take out line is long. I had to wait 20 minutes longer than I was told. But that was on me. Well worth the wait.

The amount of food is very large and the taste is really good! Not far from Love 5, it is recommended that the grandfather now packs the handmade dumplings! It is time to wait for a while. However, there is free Wi-Fi, the password is Snappydragon, and a crayon card is provided for children to draw.

They deliver good chinese food. Perfect for a night in, or order take out and while you wait go grab yourself a movie from Reckless video across just up the street.

Hand made noodles. Enormous soups. Good vegetarian options. And warm service. Usually my first meal when I'm in Seattle. Reasonable prices, too, and good for takeout.

I had not been there in like five years. I should have left after waking in to pick up my order. It smelled old, stale and in need of a cleaning overhaul! I waited until I drove back home to Bothell to eat. My Combo Fried Rice tasted like it had vinegar on it. I was not happy. I won't be going back.

Finally tried Snappy Dragon and I can say that it did not disappoint. Our eyes were bigger than our stomaches as we had leftovers for days!

My family and I have been coming to Snappy Dragon for quite some time and we LOVE it! The homemade noodles and gyoza are my all time favorite! Pro tip: Must try with the peanut sauce. Seriously best Chinese food around.

Snappy Dragon has some of the best Asian food I ve ever tried. First of all, You can order just plain noodles and they have so much flavor.
I ventured out after loving the plain noodles and tried the chow mein- Best chow mein I ve ever had!

The potstickers are huge, packed with a lot of meat & flavor.
The salt&pepper chicken is freshly breaded and cooked to perfection.

Everything I have tried from here has been great.

Get the chow mein with home made noodles, you will be glad you did!
