Excellent hotel in top location, great spa, only downside was food in restaurant was a little disappointing, this probably was a once off

Very nice hotel but disappointed in the room size . I'll reserve full judgement until I see what breakfast is like in the morning. We booked a package to get an evening meal in the Percy French restaurant. I'm regretting this now as we seem to have a limited menu

The spa is first class,the views from the pool are so relaxing.the rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean.only thing I could say i didn't enjoy Was the breakfast self-service the poached eggs were hard and the soda bread was white instead of crisp and golden,the bacon was also undercooked.

Not as luxurious as the Galgorm but nowhere near as expensive and this is in a much nicer setting. Recommended.

Very nice hotel with a lot of modern features. Excellent spa and views of the sea and mountains. Only downside is the drinks are quite expensive.

This hotel is fabulous from first entering the hotel staff could not do enough to make sure your stay was special. The ambience is so relaxing the setting is also a great contributory factor to how relaxed you feel
The spa is amazing with great facilities and so clean and once again staff are amazing , the hours of opening are also brilliant and also the fact that after checkout you are free to use spa facillities till 3pm that day. Our bedroom was amazing so spacious clean and warm and the beds are amazing sooo comfortable well worth treating yourself to this hotel cant wait till my next visit.

Superb stay here in March 2018 Wonderful hotel at the heart of Newcastle and at the foot of the Mourne Mountains Lovely staff, beautiful rooms and one of the best Leisure Centres I've used for years.

The place the hotel is located, it is in the town but it is away from it too.

Probably my favorite hotel in N.Ireland and I would definitely recommend. I will certainly stay here again if I return to NI.
The spa is fantastic. I love that the sauna looks out over the sea. The sevices available are great and the rooms are lovely, especially if you get one of the tower rooms as you can see in the pictures. Its also ideally located for walking in to town and for Percy French restaurant near the gate.

What a fantastic setting and location for dinner. I visited the restaurant with a colleague while on a business trip away. The food was fantastic and was more reasonably priced than I'd been anticipating and the service was excellent too. Would definitely go back again. If you are lucky enough to get the bay window table like we did it offers one of the best views for dinner that I've come across, both spectacular mountains and a view out to the sea.

Simply the best hotel around. Never fails to impress. Top notch staff and the beds are just amazing.

We have visited the Slieve Donard for the past three years - each time we have a very enjoyable visit. The staff are polite , helpful and nothing is too much trouble for them - their attitude & efforts make the holiday that much better. The actual hotel is absolutely beautiful , rooms are stunning - worth paying extra to get one with a sea view. The area is beautiful - so much to see and do. If you are feeling energetic then a climb to the top of Slieve Donard is a must followed by a relaxing jacuzzi in the hotel.
A stay in this hotel is highly recommended - especially if you can get a good deal on a room.

Went to Santa experience. Everything was amazing except Santa himself. All he said was right what way do you these photos. Total grump.

Great hotel. We had a classic double room booked for our 1st wedding anniversary. They upgraded us to a luxury resort suite as a complementary gift. Room was amazing.

Slieve Dinars hotel is a wonderful old building full of charm and character. However some of the staff where lacking in both those qualities. Would go back

Single best hotel experience I've ever had. Mate's wedding, stunning views, great weather, lovely food, friendly helpful staff, room was upgraded and due to a headache of heavy intoxication from the night before our check out time was extended.

I'd give 10 stars if I could. Wouldn't know how to improve it at all.

Lovely stay at sleeve donard, everything was great except breakfast options are very poor for any one with a food allergy, this definitely looses a star for me! Otherwise a great stay .

Beautiful spa, mostly clean but some dust found in female changing area which depleated the look!

We had a spa treatment here today and it was a great experience from start to finish.

Loved my stay at this beautiful hotel. The location was amazing, the beds were comfy and the rain showers were big and relaxing. The spa area was an amazing way to relax after 36 holes of golf at Royal County Down.
