Lovely place. Service excellent, afternoon tea was delicious.

Had many speciality cakes from here, but the last one was really bad, had to take it back twice, the figure was cross-eyed!!

I ordered a cake for a birthday. We were all very disappointed with it. The chocolate cake was very heavy and the use if marzipan completely dominated and hid the chocolate flavour of the cake and the salted caramel flavour of the filling. It was very overpriced for a less than average cake.

Cakes...Sweets...Chocolates....yum...simply Devine. Yes you got it I love my sweets and this place satisfies my sweet cravings ..at least some of them

You just can't beat this shop for their chocolate selection ... along with everything else they do, including their amazing cakes. Very helpful staff too. Coffee shop is ok.

I went here with my work colleagues and the atmosphere here was lovely and they had a good vegeterian option to cater for all needs plus their cake and gift shop was amazing.

Absolute chocolate and cake heaven. If I could eat one of everything I would. Failed the chocolate challenge the first time I tried. I will be back

Ordered a special birthday cake from Slattery for delivery in Cheshire. Magnificent cake duly delivered, to the delight of all. Really pleased and highly recommend this company.

Just had their fantastic vegan menu. The strawberry kebab with dark chocolate bowls are to die for.

Food is ALWAYS delicious and well presented. Best desserts of all time!
The staff are efficient and friendly. The only thing is the car park! Never any spaces but that s because they are so busy!

What a fantastic place taken my mother here for afternoon tea great atmosphere and lovely food staff fantastic and very helpful would definitely recommend this place you can even watch the bakers busy at work .

Very nice, great cakes, kids afternoon tea is a good choice for the little ones. Parking is awful. Get a taxi, park miles away and walk or fight (on occasion literally) for a space on the car park.

Outstanding. They should franchise their business on to cruise ships. Fully satisfied with all Slatteries creativity. Food, confectionery, cakes, chocolate creations, staff professionalism, ambience and decor. A thrilling experience not to be missed. I can't believe they have been established over 50 years. Good luck to them. The really do deserve accolades.

Amazing wonderful customer service outstanding what more can I say

Chocolate heaven with an amazing menu to satisfy the most hard core chocoholics. Lots of variety. The Welsh Rarebit being a clear winner for me. The staff are uber efficient, polite and dressed immaculately. Cleanliness of the highest standard. A shop full of delicious goodies.

Very friendly staff, and delicious food. Desserts are a 'must eat' here.

Beautiful cakes lovely tearoom upstairs but so busy it is best to book. They do cake decorating classes. At the back of the shop you can watch them decorating the cakes.

The cherry meringue was to die for. Good all round.

Nice to treat the family to something special in these difficult times.

Delicious cakes and biscuits! I became addicted to the lemon short cakes when I was pregnant, they were that good! But they are a little expensive and parking is challenging.

Heaven on earth. Food delicious and deserts are a slice from heaven. Also the smiley man (sorry I don't know your name!) that's usually front of house makes my day, you never get service like that anymore and he makes the experience! Couldn't speak more highly of the service and food. Thank you x

Lovely surroundings. Quick service. Superb afternoon tea.

I almost died... from chocolate overdose. The evening tea was delicious. Seriously, the bread was soft, each sandwich had a different type of bread to complement the fillers.

Chocolate. (Again be warned... choc-overdose) loads of chocolate, and stuff to dip it in. It was really nice.

Now my favourite bit. The coffee. I loved it. By far one of the nicest coffees I ve had and goes well with everything.

And that was only the restaurant. Cakes and hot chocolate and ice cream down in the bakery section. You can also watch the chocolatiers work.

I went to Slatterys a couple of weeks ago, for afternoon tea with my family.
The dining area was fully booked, despite it being a Monday afternoon - a sign of how popular it is!
The staff were very friendly, and couldn t do enough for us. They were very personable, and genuine.
They even brought out a sparkler for the birthday we had.
The afternoon tea is very generous portions, and filling.
The only thing I would suggest, is arriving early. As the car park is small, and you may have to wait a while, or park further away.

We went without booking a table bit were given a table within five mins I had a delicious prawn sandwich and my husband had a club sandwich which he really enjoyed Couldn't manage a cake but bought two in the shop for later Best lunch for a while

Absolutely love this place. Staff are always so pleasant and on hand to assist. The food is always so freshly made and absolutely delicious. I also love the fact that their shop is underneath the restaurant, so you can also take some goodies home with you.

Great bakery to buy from lovely bread, pies, superb cakes, with a very good restaraunt upstairs.

Had a afternoon tea. This was very nice god selection of sandwiches scones and cakes. Everything very fresh. Cakes and scones all quite light. Did had to have a doggy box to take some of the cakes home for later. Good selection of unlimited teas. We had the breakfast tea and it was proper leaf tea with a strainer.

A lovely restaurant and fantastic chocolate to buy afterwards to take home.

A true Manchester institution.make sure you go early in the morning as all the good stuff is gone by the evening. They have ample parking space as well which is a great plus. Their fresh dessert section is to die for

I love this place. Except i was let down when i was ordering a birthday cake for my son, they have previously made number cakes for customers but couldn't make it for me the way i wanted. Any how would still go here.

After hearing so many great things about this place and driving all the way from Manchester we were nothing but disappointed. The cakes are lacking finesse for this price and they are overly sweet/covered with too much icing and other sickly sweet toppings. Basic decoration.

The wedding cakes on display are simply awful looking, very outdated 90s style. I suggest you go on Pinterest to catch up and see what is in fashion these days.
