Awesome! Loved it. A real experience. Mark was the perfect host and all the staff so polite. Hot beef sandwich with dip is well recommended. Will definitely go again

Visited for my Mum's birthday and couldn't be more disappointed. Limited parking and advised by staff at Slatterys to use the health centre's car park (inconveniencing patients that need it). Service was absolutely appalling and very chaotic. Phone constantly rings and remains unanswered and staff don't seem to know what they're doing. The side didn't come with the main and when I asked where it was I was advised it hadn't been put on order and would be brought out asap. Arrived 20 minutes after eating. Asked twice by the same waitress if we had ordered food (once while we were actually eating!). Table next to us waited over an hour for afternoon tea. Although the sandwiches are nice, they're considerably overpriced for the service you receive. Manager Jo is incredibly hostile and totally ridiculous. For people with low standards.

We had a delicious lunch there for my husbands birthday.
The food was well presented, plentiful and very well served by friendly but efficient staff.
It's awhile since we visited(years). Our loss. The restaurant , shop and products on offer were beautifully presented. We will return.

After yearning after visiting the dining room at Slattery for many years we finally visited as a surprise for my birthday!
The dining room was well presented, immaculately clean and very spacious. I was surprised how large it was!
The waitresses were extremely welcoming, friendly and knowledgable as we required gluten and dairy free food for our child who is allergic to these. They were able to advise and deliver food which was allergen friendly, including samples of chocolate.
My husband and I had the home made chicken pate which was absolutely divine. A little more butter wouldn't have gone a miss.
We decided to save room for the array of delectable desserts. We devoured the strawberry and marshmallow skewers whilst my husband had an array of mini chocolate cakes with melted milk and white chocolate in edible pots. It was the highlight of the visit!
I received the most beautiful chocolate birthday cake with sparklers, organised by my husband and we enjoyed perusing and buying a couple of items from the store.
Well worth a visit if you have a special occasion or simply fancy a treat!

Wow, what can I say about this place, the staff here are absolutely amazing each and every single staff member. This place is a league of its own, I had to book a table a month in advance due to how busy and how popular they are. There were 3 of us who took on the chocolate challenge which is very hard to do but very delicious

What's not to love about this place could spend hours and lots of money in there. Amazing

best Cornish pasty in town, chocolate's great as well

Pleasant staff always ready to assist. Only thing is carpark is always full and need to wait for parking.

Made a purchase through their online shop, there was a slight hiccup, but they rectified it straight away. Friendly and professional, great customer service, thanks!

Order was ready when arrived ,was only 3 hot chocolate bombs , but lady who served me was.pleasent and couldn't do enough for me and even bagged the item credit to Slatterys and look forward to purchasing again

I took son to choose a cake for doing well in exams came out with nothing, over priced and decorated items, but nothing normal and enticing

Yummy food. Chocolate afternoon tea was lovely. I particularly loved the loose tea served the traditional way with a strainer like my mum had years ago. Had extra pot as I loved it so much. Small car park but I parked at Morrison's which isn't far away and walked down to Slatterys.

The chocolate selection looks amazing, all the staff are very talented. The dining area is really nice, lunch serves big portions, it is worth the wait and decent prices. I recommend the Hot Chocolate :D must check out the gift shop downstairs for some treats to take away.

First visit after lockdown changes. Dissapointed, no.potato meat pies. Alternative steak pies overcooked and dry pastry looked Grey.staff pleasant.

Unreliable place. Cake was still frozen when serving. Terrible. This has happened tone twice.

Just had a vanilla slice - the best one I've ever had 5 stars !

Slatterys lovely champagne afternoon tea, fabulous atmosphere as always.

I thought that the food was tasty, and also good value for money. Staff were approachable and helpful. The chocolate is lovely! I'd recommend going.
