Had an afternoon tea, good selection of sandwiches and cakes,

The brownie cake was a real crowd winner for after Christmas Dinner.

Great lunch with a friend! Visited the shop and bought some great cakes too!

Would recommend.

Really dont understand the hype. Pretty mediocre cakes, certainly not worth revisiting. Parking is a nightmare.

Order was ready when arrived ,was only 3 hot chocolate bombs , but lady who served me was.pleasent and couldn't do enough for me and even bagged the item credit to Slatterys and look forward to purchasing again

Slattery recently provided our wedding cake and favours - nothing was too much trouble for them. The service and attention to detail were fabulous and we had so many compliments about the cake - thank you so much - just brilliant! Debra & Rob Sims

Had lovely afternoon tea with my daughter and young granddaughters who loved it.service was top notch and was a lovely experience.

My children love going to slatterys to look at all the cakes and have an icecream.

Lovely food and the patisserie was also amazing. The piano was a feature we enjoyed. Free parking outside. Giving 4 stars due to the foul smell lingering in the waiting area, and the flooring gives it a care home feel to the place.

Everything is lovely from here. The chocolate is delicious as are the cakes. Looking forward to the masons re opening.

I had the Lancashire afternoon tea. The cakes were ok, a little bit 'party pack' type style - i was expecting more of a home made feel to the cakes, so marked down for that. The pot of tea came out a lot sooner than the food, which was slightly frustrating... Overall experience was ok! And i am a cake lover, but i wouldnt rush back!

Went to Slattery s to use a gift given for mother s day. Highly disappointed!!. Slatterys has become complaisant in the extreme,trading on it s reputation as a great chocolatier and patissiere. We booked on line in advance and had to wait for an available table; the table for two was crammed in between others in a row, so that private conversation was impossible . We waited 20 minutes before our order was even taken and 30minutes before a drink appeared, 40minutes until our food appeared! It was impossible to attract the waitress s attention. She even served the couple next to us and turned around so I couldn t speak to her. I had a Greek salad which tasted entirely of vinaigrette dressing,over-powering garlic in the humus, so much so that I couldn t eat it. The Chef has lost his/her way in that these dishes are neither tasty nor imaginative,yet cost premium prices. My mother s day treat was ruined by the poor service , crammed and uncomfortable seating,and poor quality food. The parking is also a nightmare. I will not be visiting Slatterys for a meal again and would urge others with any discerning taste to do likewise!

Been visiting Slatterys for many years in its current location and it's previous one across the street. Always friendly. Yummy cakes. I always feel like I've stepped into some chocolate wonderland. This time we took two individual banoffee tarts on a take out. Delicious. Very Morris. Truly recommended!

Do like this place but a little on the pricey side on the cafe.

Plenty atmosphere, Very helpful staff and a very wide range of products for all occasions. Down side not alot of parking, spent 15 minutes to find somewhere to park then a 5 minute walk.

Just bought a peice of cake very expensive for small slice

Just been on a cake decorating course which was excellent .The instructor Mark was so good and made everything looks easy and achievable.

Always enjoy going to slatterys food excellent and all the staff are very polite .

I didn't meet her, but Karen made us a cake out of this world. Much appreciated oh not forgetting Elaine, the amount of effort she made, we are truly grateful, we will be back for more x

Lovely breakfast (big portions that I really shouldn't have added extras to ) and drinks (what's not to love about proper loose tea leaves in a pot) with a friend, made all the more lovely by the friendly staff and being allowed to stay and natter for quite a while.

Lovely food definitely can recommend the chocolate banana split!!!! Yummy!!!!

I've been to Slattery's once before this time and I found it better then. It's a nice place - it always will be I'm sure. However I wasn't impressed with the food or dessert this time. It wasn't anything that wowed me. The service is good. All the staff are very polite and helpful.

We all love this place. My son started getting birthday cakes from here ,the day his princess was born, its been 10 years, now my friends and family they get birthday cakes from here, it's been 10 years since we've been getting cakes from here, love their cakes, they've got a place in their where you can have tea, very posh, their cakes are unique and beautiful, very tasty, no one can bake like them,
I say, get your cakes from here, I'll give them the score

Been here lots of times and loved it. However, ordered the chocolate challenge one time and it was brought to the table in separate items half and half so starting the challenge didn't enable me to have a good look as to what I should eat first. Also I wanted a cake box to take my cream cake home and they didn't have o e the correct size. Subsequently the cake squashed on the way home.

Early birthday treat for husband. Busy but had pre booked! Expensive but lovely for a treat. Ask for a birthday plate and get a sparkler fountain with message written in chocolate!

Lovely little tea room, I have only ever been for afternoon tea but it's been great every time and they cater for Cealiac disease by offering gluten free

Simply an amazing place, belgium waffles were simply sublime. Then came the Chocolate Sundae. This is a must visit place for anyone with a sweet tooth. Staff were very helpful with my bad leg, got me an extra chair to rest my leg on.

Staff were very friendly and the food and drinks are amazing. The only improvement that's needed is a bigger car park
