We had a one day stay there recently, the room was very clean, the room appeared well maintained and updated, had everything we needed, decor was very nice and had a comfy feel with the fireplace on, the front desk staff was nice and friendly, offered us a shuttle to get around. We would definitely recommend.

Room was really clean for being out in the wild. We also went on a helicopter ride that was amazing.

Sedona shuts down at sunset so if you want water or something make sure you grab it early.

If you stay anywhere in Sedona, stay here. Super friendly staff, beautiful views, and a very cozy property. Very close to hiking trails and a quick 5 min drive to any downtown area for shopping and bars. They even had strategy games to play! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

It is a nice place to stay and we really enjoyed it. The rooms and the property are clean and well maintained. An improvement could be a BBQ in the property or cooktop in the room.

Overpriced really just a photo destination for wedding pictures

Attended a wedding here. It was a perfect setting for this!

I booked straight through the website for a wedding and did not do a google search beforehand and was shocked when we pulled up and realized it was a motel. Nice pool and the events area had a gorgeous backdrop for the wedding, but the room we had was in serious need of updating. It had a bad nursing home type smell and we paid more for the "stand alone cottage" with "kitchen" thinking we would save some money by prepping our own meals, but the kitchen was no kitchen at all, only 2 burners, tiny sink, and a dorm room fridge smaller than the standard hotel fridges in our rooms at Embassy and Hampton on the same trip, so it was useless for groceries and cooking meals. Bedroom area was open to living area as well, not separated space. Other than the bad smell, the room was generally clean, so a carpet replacement may be all that is needed, but I will never pay that much again for so little in accommodation.

Great customer service, amazing views, and comfortable rooms. Cannot wait to return.

Overall, a great hotel. The outside is beautifully maintained which consists of various flowers/plants and great garden areas. The staff are super friendly, especially the ones who are outside all day maintaining the property. There are great views, even if you can't see them from your window, you only have to take a short walk to see Sedonas wonderful rock formations. The only down side I would say is that the beds are very loud and creeky and the bathroom is very tiny and the shower isn't the greatest. Other than that, the location and cleanliness of the hotel is superb.

Attended a wedding there and the staff was truly amazing. I broke my shoe and one of the staff went and retrieved another pair of shoes so I wouldn't have to walk to my car in the dirt in bare feet.

A great place to stay! Perched atop the Mesa that the Sedona Airport is on. Comfortable, clean rooms, friendly staff, nice grounds and great views from their Rim View rooms! They also have a lovely outdoor area for weddings and events! We have been coming here for years and always enjoyed it!!

I GIVE THIS HOTEL A MINUS 10 FOR VERY RUDE STAFF. MY FAMILY OF 6 STAYED AT SKY RANCH LODGE IN NOVEMBER AND WE HAD A HARD TIME IN THE BEGINNING. FRONT DESK MANAGEMNET MELISSA WAS VERY RUDE AND GAVE US THE WRONG ROOMS THEN ARGUED WITH US AND OVER CHARGED US AND WOULD NOT REFUND THE DIFFERENCE. HOUSEKEEPING WAS EVEN WORSE AND RUDER THAN ANYONE I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. OUR ROOMS WERE NOT READY UNTIL 6 PM AND THE HOUSEKEEPER WE HAD KEPT ROLLING HER EYES AT MY CHILDREN WHEN THEY ASKED HOW MUCH LONGER. WHEN I HAD ASKED FOR HER NAME, SHE REFUSED TO TELL ANYONE THEN OVER A WALKIE TALKIE I HEARD HER NAME CALLED, IT WAS JESSICA. THIS PERSON WAS EXTEREMLY RUDE NOT ONLY TO ME BUT MY WHOLE FAMILY, CHILDREN INCLUDED. WHEN I CONFRUNTED HER ABOUT HER RUDENESS SHE REPLIED THAT I WAS THE RUDE ONE AND MY CHILDREN ARE BRATS THAT SHOULD BE KEPT ON A LEASH AND WHEN SHE WALKED AWAY SHE CALLED MY 15 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER A BIT*H UNDER HER BREATH. THIS PERSON NEEDS TO BE FIRED IMEADEATELY. DO NOT STAY AT SKY RANCH, THESE PEOPLE ARE NOT NICE...

A magical little place, in a magical town. With the best views of Sedona

Very nice place. Beds are comfy, oh yea... just don't let the ghost activity bother you, they're harmless..

Very friendly staff, rooms are very clean and great location to downtown shopping, hiking trails and vortex near by. Dog friendly.

I love everything about this place. The view, interior and the staff. I felt very welcomed and I know if I were to go back, I would come to this place. I also want to thank two employees for going out of their way to make sure our needs where taken care of. Shawndae and Nate. Thank you both so much for helping us get my boyfriend watch back. This is the kind of customer service everything needs to get when traveling. And thanks to them, I will be staying here out next visit!

The location was amazing!! The view from the courtyard was breathtaking and there is a beautiful hiking trail right off the property that was so fun during the morning sunrise to get up and hike. Our kids loved the clean and warm pool they spent hours swimming. The room was updated and beautiful and clean... the beds were very comfortable too. We loved the free coffee and there was a nice refrigerator in the room too. We will definitely return to Sky Ranch Lodge!

Beautiful place with nice rooms. Smaller than looks in pics. But was clean nice with awesome views. Beautiful Night sky views too. But when we reserved the room we were told it was the last and only room that they had it is dog friendly which we thought was cool. But they put our room directly in the middle of a huge wedding reception two doors away from the wedding reception party. Our dogs are going crazy in the whole time couldn't even leave the room to enjoy anything because people were walking back and forth in front of the window making the dogs go crazy. They kept telling us no refund... now I know why. they were aware of the wedding party and knew we had the dogs and should have gave us a heads up on that situation because we would not have got that room. Knowing we were in middle of a huge wedding party. Which was loud all night too...So we spent a lot of money like almost 400 bucks for one night. Just to pretty much sleep. And on top of all that My son ended up having a seizure and getting rushed to the hospital which made the evening even worse. ( that was out of there control but bumping music didnt help) I would say it's a very beautiful place to have a wedding but if you're just wanting a room for the night or weekend make sure you get heads up on where your room is at and if there's a wedding party... Just sayin

We did not get the king bed garden deluxe room we reserved, instead we got a double queen rim view room. We heard every reason under the sun: that wasn't the room i reserved, that room type doesn't exist, it is being renovated, we upgraded you at no charge, we can put you in a different room tomorrow night but that's all we have available tonight. I asked to speak with the supervisor/manager the next morning, she wouldn't come out of the back room and talk to us. Add on top of that, there was something wrong with our shower. We had to complain multiple times and after 2 days a night repair guy finally came and fixed it. He was the only one in the whole bunch with any customer service abilities. When we checked out we got the standard, "how was your stay?". Upon rehashing our dissatisfaction, we were told a manager would call us to discuss a discount. Guess what, no call.

This was our third trip. Excellent again. Great place to stay.

I had lost $120.00 in the room. I received a call that the maid had found it, was at the front desk. Shows real integrity from management to employees. They now have a customer for life on top of the facility being clean and comfortable!

Pet friendly!
To start off, the views from this lodge are phenomenal! There is a reason that they hold weddings here. The grounds are very well kept, with numerous paths to walk through and a wine bar as well.
I don't typically go places twice, but if I'm ever in Sedona again I will stay here.

Nice size room size, very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The Sky Ranch Lodge allows pets, which was a big plus for me.

First time and night here. So far it is fantastic. People are super kool and friendly. Very helpful when we asked about places to see and where to eat. They have shuttle service for free... rooms are nice size. And when they say they have the best view...they are not kidding. Sunset was amazing

Fabulous views from your deck. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable.

We chose this place because they allow you to cancel without penalty within 48 hours or so, which seemed like necessary risk management in the pandemic. The hotel location and cleanliness of the room were good, but that was about the extent of it. We would not stay here again. There is a sign in an area of the property with views that says private property, presumably because random people wander in to use it as a viewpoint. However, apparently they also don t allow other hotel guests to stand there because of privacy of the guests who stay in the those rooms. Instead of telling us there is another lookout point, they just told us to leave. It is a nonsensical rule when the other lookout point is also in front of rooms. A simple fix to this is to tell people at check in and then make it clear on the sign that says private property that there IS a lookout point that is allowed.

Anyway, additional problems included:
-our room wasn t ready until 4:45 instead of 4pm for check in
-There was a loud wedding going on both nights... the rooms aren t well insulated from noise
-the bathroom light fixtures rattled a lot and we had to move them around to get them to stop

Excellent lodge and facilities. Near-by access to a scenic Sedona views and trails.

Beautiful site on top of a mesa with full view of sedona below. BUT the customer service at the front desk was super poor and downright rude. They couldn't figure out how their shuttle system works with each person giving a different answer. And they advertise that you can do late check-out but when I asked I was told flat out no and that they would charge a 1/2 day rate. The rooms are also very small for the cost.

Me and my family were on a roadtrip from Southern California all the way to Pheonix, Arizona. We first went to Las Vegas and our second stop was the Hoover Dam. Our third stop was here is Sadona. We booked a stay at the Sky Ranch Lodge and I got to say, it was the best hotel I can ever stay in. The hotel is walking distance away from the airport and a nearby restaurant that had great food. They had a cheap gift shop and had a bar for my parents to enjoy. They have a very good pool and hot tub and the scene of the hotel itself looks so traditional. It actually goes well with the scenery that is OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! The rooms were soooo good. The beds are comfy and the rooms itself are a very cozy size to stay at. The bathrooms also looked like my bathrooms at home, which I love! It was also convinient to have the microwave too. Our stay at the Sky Ranch Lodge was soooo cool. I would really like to come back to here if we have another opportunity to come here!!!

Absolutely gorgeous place, quaint and friendly. Amazing views in walking distance of your room. Air conditioner was hard to figure out - it's not the usual simple air conditioner like you usually see in hotels. There's a wine bar if you're inclined. Also a salt water pool and a hot tub. Staff was friendly and cool. No complimentary breakfast but Sedona has plenty of good places to get breakfast.

The newly renovated garden rooms are very nice with a comfortable bed and extra plump pillows. The VIEWS are phenomenal. However, if you think you are getting a fireplace in your room just because the web lists it that way, think again- you must specifically request it, we were told.

Highly recommend this hotel. It's a little dated but the main event are the views around. You can spot the cathedral rocks which is amazing. Keep in mind the check in hours are from 4pm-10pm. I arrived a little past 11:30pm and thankfully they had my room keys in an envelope taped outside the lobby. Check out was fast and staff were friendly.

This place is amazing. The view is worth every penny. Stayed only one night. We upgraded to the Mountain View room and loved it. The room was great, large with plenty of space. They also have a mini kitchen which is prefect. The grounds are very nice and they also have a bar on site. Highly recommend them if you re in Sedona.

Awesome grounds, pool, hot tub, wine bar. Honestly don't know how anywhere else in Sedona could beat it unless you pay a grand a night. Victoria the GM was understanding about an issue we encountered and I appreciate her understanding and being cool!

Cute little cabin rooms. Our room smelled like dog though. The pond is nice. There is a pokestop near the pond area and a gym close by. Also close to a lookout point down the street. Beautiful views from there. *thumbs up*

Beautiful views and great atmosphere. The coffee was delicious and the outside seating area is well maintained. The employees are very welcoming and helpful for finding hiking trails and the vortexs. Would definitely come back here again!

DONT STAY HERE, rooms filthy and small, view they talk about is a tiny area that fits only a few tables, the pool small and dirty. The staff is ridiculous rude and lies about everything. Tried to collect personal credit card information on paper, easy way to get identity and your money stolen.Stay at Sedona summit resort way better accommodations.

The experience at this hotel was simply EXCELLENT. All the staff is awesome, specially the front desk agent Consuelo, she is the most professional and kind person I've met in a hotel. I did the reservation through Hotels.com and from the beginning it was a smooth process and very clear, I reserved a room with garden view due to the high rates for the ones with the city's views, but during the checking in process, they did an upgraded to the room with the sedonas's views for no extra charge, also although the check in is scheduled for 4 pm they let me check in earlier which was awesome. Thanks to all the front desk department, all of them are AMAZING. The views from the patio of my room were spectacular, nothing could beat such a beautiful landscape. Anyway, in case your room doesn't have patio you can always go to the airport lookout point which is located right next to the hotel, just a few steps away and the views from there are awesome and you can enjoy the sunrise and sunsets which are beautiful from this point. The wedding patio at the hotel has a beautiful view as well and you can take a seat and enjoy the beautiful afternoon with a glass of wine. The room itself was updated, extremely clean and beautifully decorated. If you have the opportunity to go to sedona at least once in your life, DO NOT stay at any other hotel. This one is, from the personnel, the costumer services to the views, the BEST so far. Thanks for such a beautiful and nice stay to all the personnel. I'm in love with this place and I can't wait to stay here again soon.

The best view i would stay here again i highly recommend !!!!

this place is a good value. On the other hand we were there at a period of low occupancy C. There are rooms with great views. It is a beautiful spot. Unfortunately we were placed in a room across from the office. There was lots of traffic and we had no views. We inquired about being moved to another room to no avail. Also when we entered our room the carpet was soaking wet and stayed that way the night. Apparently when a pet is in a room they wash the carpeting thereafter. They don't I guess let the carpeting dry before they put guests in. This is one of those places that you get what you pay for and you're not going to get the best service from the front desk.

I stayed here for two nights back in January and would highly recommend this place simply for the view. Stunning mountain views 100 feet from our room. The room itself was average, and comfortably fitted 4 adults. We drove into town for meals but it was only 10 minutes away. Good value for the rate we received and would definitely stay here again!

Well-kept, clean lodge in a very quiet area: all in all, like many others, but I give 1 more star just for the wonderful terrace with a view. To tell the truth, a few meters away, next to the Lodge, there is a viewpoint with the same view, but if you stay at the Lodge you can access the terrace whenever you want. Considering that the view is really top .... Recommended

Spectacular vistas. Pool is smaller than expected but beautiful and very well maintained..no irritated eyes. Wake up early to catch the sunrise if you can. I'm planning my next trip..skip Grand Canyon and stay here for the whole week.

Very nice location with an amazing view, especially from the event lawn. However, they locked the event parking area before I left and my car was stuck, which was quite annoying.

Nice hotel! Good view over the canyon. Possibility to wash is super. Rooms are spacious with air conditioning, fireplace and large beds. Had a very nice stay.

I stayed in a full Ridge View room it was very clean newly remodeled I was very pleased with my stay. The view is from room 231

I booked the hotel for one night and when we arrived I found everything beautiful. The views were beautiful and the staff very friendly. It was a decent room. But unfortunately mice started coming out. At the beginning we thought one maybe came through the door when we arrived and we killed him, but then another came out and then another. the office was already closed. we slept and my son got up screaming he had a mouse in his arm. We went crazy and got up and got ready and tried to find an explanation. The maintenance man went to the room, he even caught a mouse. They kept coming out. In total they were 8. incredible but very true. In the end, they were super understandable and kind, they gave us our money back and apologized. I do not go back to that hotel. room 408

The nicest view of Sedona during sunrise and sunset. The lodge is located above the town and has its own viewing areas only available for guests. Staff are very welcoming and are quick to make sure you get the most out of your vacation, recommending restaurants, best areas to shop and even ways to avoid traffic. Rooms were very affordable especially considering the view you receive. Rooms were nicely sized and came with fridge and microwave. Will definitely come here next time I'm in sedona

Had some incredibly noisy neighbors from Los Angeles that were congregating outside our room. Complained once to the staff and they earned their repeated 5 star ratings. They followed the tried and true "Ask, Tell, Make" and they got it silent for us. Beautiful grounds, and wonderful views.

The best sunset I've seen so far. The landscaping is stunning with so much life. Unfortunately because of the helicopter tours you can smell fuel heavily at times.

The place was ok, not exactly what I expected when I booked it. I'd probably rate it as a 3 star hotel. The views are nice, but unless you pay extra, you won't get any views at all. The rooms were clean but seemed a little dated (pictures look much better than actual rooms). No breakfast, no movies available to rent on the tv service (even though they put a hold on your card for movie rentals). The airport is right next door so it's a little noisy when helicopters take off and land.

Too much money for what we got. horrible nasty stain on carpet, bed hard as rock, cricket's in room.

We loved Sky Ranch Lodge, the first night we enjoyed the view with friends and it was very epic. We also enjoyed being just out side the city in the mountains. Easy to get to and great over all place, accommodations where light compared to your resorts or modern hotel amenities of today. Very comfortable. Besides great wedding and I'd recommend to stay here to any one.
