My daughter invited me to an overnight stay at Skodsborg Badehotel. We got an excellent service. Luxury spa / bath. Nice area with lots of options. Luxurious surroundings. Options for evening menu. And a nice roof-even breakfast table. Definitely a treat. Thanks.

We arrived as two couples and stayed over the day. We bought the Luxury day spa package and especially the massage together with the two course lunch were absolutely amazing! Great selection of baths, hot tubs and different saunas. Recommend as a gift to someone you love

I think, something described as luxurious could be this hotel. I was there for the Spa and beauty treatments. I loved it all, staff, ambience and all the services. It's a must try, if you want to enjoy relaxation.

Had brunch there, given the place and time, I wasn't impressed by the service of the waitress, but the food and drinks were good.

Lovely place, with a great view. The spa area was not terribly overwhelming, but my wife and I enjoyed it.

Worn down everywhere .. Poor service at the hotel and spa for there was no ... not by phone call at time of booking. Calling food ... Paying for something you don't get.

The place is nice but the kitchen disappoints Big time, both for evening and breakfast.
Evening.
We had ordered the 3 course menu and the wine menu. The kitchen has put crown tartar on which in my opinion is something of a rate on a closed menu that the guest does not know in advance. It was now tasty and I got 2 as my wife would not touch it. The main course was some chicken which was also ok but the kitchen forgot our potatoes so we had to eat them for ourselves afterwards. The dessert was a disappointment. Cheesecake that had no taste and a soft bottom. A chocolate ice cream that was gritty and a red porridge that drowned everything out on the plate.
The breakfast was at first glance okay delicious but when you got close you could see early on that the cucumbers and peppers had been cut a long time ago and dried completely. The sia porridge had also been left overnight in the fridge with all the toppings on so it was soft and dull.
All in all, a disappointing experience when you pay so much money for it.

Was only in the spa area which is super cool, remember to bring your own towel when you have been in the bath

Once here it was delicious, but the service and cleaning level is too low. My room lacked hair dryer, spatula, ironing board, soap filling and lotion buckets, and there was an empty cardboard box on the bed? Why? In addition, the cleaning was missing: there was garbage in the room and in the trash from previous guests. Low.

Utter disappointment!

Unfortunately, for me and my family this hotel will always be associated with a bad service. Some time ago we ordered 3 birthday giftcards on message in this hotel. So we came to the hotel 1 week in advance and purchased three giftcards which included massages and spa. The receptionist named Frederik Gabriel said that everything was arranged and 3 masseurs were booked on a specific day and specific time. But one week later when the happy giftcard holders came to enjoy there massage and a day in SPA, the receptionist said that they're no masseurs. Apparentely, noone booked anything. So it turned up that we ordered and paid for massages but the staff did not order the people who make massages... So the birthday people had to just go away with nothing.
The saddest thing is that the staff didn't even try to improve the situation with a small compliment.

Very poor service.

We had a wonderful experience at the hotel, this was undoubtedly possible because of the charming, helpful and professional treatment we received from the head of the front desk.

Fantastic place. Great location, spectacular spa and excellent service

Overall a mediocre experience. The good thing was the spa which had many different amenities.
But besides the spa, there is not much to look for. No printed program about what's happening in the spa. The lobby restaurant did not work at all. Poor service, no surplus to eye contact and several guests, including us, waited a long time to be allowed to order (we waited 45 minutes to be allowed to order dessert, and it was only because we eventually shouted loudly at the waiter who buzzed past our table all the time). In addition, the menu is boring - and the food equally - at really high prices. The salads for DKK 145 consisted mostly of heart salad in detached leaves. Breakfast was ok, but not so delicious that there was no handshake at the buffet. Room cleaning needs a lift. The spa hotel delivers what they need to an absolute minimum, but nothing extra. They do not exceed one's expectations at one point. Mediocre experience.

Nice place to be for a few days. Small beauty flaws, which, however, wonder a little. The staff, parts of it, do not know the difference between vegan versus vegetarian lifestyle. A little strange at a health resort.

Unfortunately for fluctuating service and quality. From sublime to miserable. From brilliant staff to those who don't care. For example: you ask for twice the scrambled eggs - you get one. Two guests are waiting for seating, to "give a more exclusive experience". When the waiter finally pops up, she strokes the room number with a stroke pen and says "yes?" The food is fine, but would get bitch as a standalone in inner Copenhagen. Last day there was a rising odor from the sink. When we mentioned it, you knew about the problem ... When you look at the price, value for money is just too low and the fluctuations are annoying.

Lovely spa hotel with many options. The food and accompanying wine menu are fantastic ogndoa the facilities are good. Some were unfortunately out of service during our visit.

Very nice hotel in a "posh" area, but also a price is high. Breakfast was very nice, we didnt take the organic menu for 250DKK, bud ordered omelette, this was 3times cheaper and very good. Rooms were also nice and comfortable. Mine had a king size bed, spacious living part and really nice bathroom with separate shower and bath. I liked also a terrace facing the see with Sweedesh coast in a distance. Spa was also nice, one hot 90degrees sauna though, several other "rooms" like sauna 50degree, steam room, some salty room and few corners to relax. Also there is outside part with Jacuzzi, cold bath and a big sauna barrel... so I would say that only one thing I can say against is to find a way to spa, somehow the signs were not clear to lead us there and find the right entrance (and I was not only one who had this impression). But staff was very helpfull so no problem at the end ;)

The environment gives nothing! No shops or restaurants except the very expensive hotel restaurant. Road on one side, railway on the other. The room is very small, the walls narrow the double bed on both sides so that you can only get up carefully. The charm of the hotel looks faded.

Ate at Brasserie Carl and got delicious food and wine as well as a really good service and attention from the staff!

Great place with quiet and nice surroundings. Very nice place to be if you have been in a stressful period or if you need to get away from it all. Can only be clearly recommended.

Enjoyed the yoga, spa, gym and By Krohn restaurant. A+ experience. Was there from 08:30 - 24:00.

In my opinion quality/price is 3 stars. The hotel is still trying to show itself as luxurious fancy but although the price is still very high, the place is old and many facilities need to be renovated. Many saunas and facilities in the SPA were broken or not functioning. The staff at the reception is often stiff, not experienced and service minded as a 4 stars should be. Check in is at 3 PM and I bounced at 2:30 although some rooms were already ready? Ok whatever .Let's walk on the promenade...

Beautiful exterior of the hotel on large green grounds. Friendly front desk staff and nice, clean rooms for our overnight stay with balcony. The spa has a wide variety of different types of steam room and saunas. We spent 4 hours. There is a water station in the spa area with tea options. Also, the bar's restaurant is very good, try the burger or pasta.

Nice spa hotel with a rooftop, re-energizing and soothing. They rent bikes to ride the coast, go to visit Louisana Museum among many places. Breakfast was tasty but please add french bread.

Wonderful old surroundings, location and building. Stayed here several times. Have unfortunately had to lower my rating as the service is going downhill recently, had dinner with family in the hotel lobby and whilst the food was excellent the service was terrible despite we being the only guests. 4 members of staff, dishes not cleared and no attention at all but lots of loud conversations amongst themselves. Sad to see one of the places I love fall short of thier usually excellent standards

One of my favorite spa hotels. Aesthetic decor. Delicious skin care products in the rooms and in the spa. Cozy and super nicely decorated lounge area with open fireplace. Have spent many hours here.

Fantastic experience I went with my mother and my 3 siblings, and we had a wonderful trip with an overnight stay from Monday-Tuesday.

We were at Brasserie Carl. Lovely place and in the beginning present waiter. I chose a scallop salad with salmon. It tasted great, but the salmon was forgotten! When a waiter was called in, that serving was corrected. Then we would like coffee and apple pie. The coffee came quickly, but it obviously should not be enjoyed for the apple pie. We waited a long time, then it came, ie. ice cold apple puree in a thin layer on the plate with currants, crumble and a blob of whipped cream. The apple puree was very unevenly distributed between the 6 of us in the company, so I gave part of mine to the sideman - but honestly, the dessert is dumped !!

Fantastic lovely place. Have eaten here sometimes and overnight with my wife once. The spa is fine, the food is good, the place is beautiful and maintained, the room large and neat, the view and the surroundings are amazing. Highly recommended.

No value for money !! Had expected SO much more !! Poor service, small room and lukewarm water in the bathroom!
The stars are solely for location and their spa, it is in turn delicious!

We recently attended our friend's wedding. They had booked a table in the restaurant on the roof for 3 pm. We arrived at 2:45 and I was surprised to see that they didn't let us in to the restaurant until it was precisely 3:00. So the bride and groom decided to take pictures downstairs. As they were doing that, a staff came over and told them they can't take pictures. When we went up to the restaurant, there were problems with the service or what was agreed about the service and the bride and groom were clearly getting frustrated and nervous. That made their mothers nervous. Towards the end of the lunch, the waitress began sort of pushing us out and asking for payment from the bride and groom in front of all the guests (despite the restaurant being empty). They had set our tea and a small plate of deserts outside for us and when the elderly mothers asked whether we could have tea inside the waiter refused. Overall, I'd say that very poor hospitality was shown, especially since this was for a very special occasion. They made it clear that they don't care that people are getting married. Thus, I'd say its a mediocre place. The view of course is nice.

Lovely surroundings. Handicap friendly. Really nice staff everywhere we came. Good menu to choose from. Nice breakfast table. The spa is an experience in itself. Versatile steam bath saunas and pools with various massage jets. Nicely decorated.

Small hotel with (for) penetrating recreational facilities. It is my assessment that too little dirt and impurities are made in the rooms. The windows have been deeply criticized. In addition, signs are missing from the spa area from the changing rooms. Furthermore, the pools are very small. The restaurant pulls up the place.

We didn't get a single shot up there as it was total relaxation. The service was top notch (got cold water served in the queue at check out and could go to the spa before check in when we arrived a little before). The spa area was packed with amenities. Never have I experienced so many different things and teams. The fitness area was also huge with everything one needed. The restaurant on top was nice.

The hotel's lounge is Copenhagen's nicest place to relax with a small drink / coffee. The decor and the many art books make every effort to relax in style.
