Really nice area with room for pleasure and good food.

Prettig hotel met goede service, alle kamers zijn netjes ingericht en zien er goed uit. Het restaurant heeft heerlijk eten maar de kaart is wat beperkt met slechts 4 hoofdgerechten.

We stayed at Skodsborg one night. The overall impression of the hotel was mediocre at best. Good SPA and fitness facilities, however in need of some improved cleaning routines and maintainance. Definently not top 7 in the world as they advertise all over the hotel. Ok breakfast, but comparable to a 2/3 star hotel. The room was alright, but lacked toiletries and run-down. Currently alot of outside renovations being done on the hotel, so I would really recommend avoiding staying at Skodsborg until they have been completed. The staff working at the "Lounge Resturant" at the reception were great, and the food served there was good. What really made our stay unsatisfactory, and the reason why we will not come back, was the overall service by the staff at the hotel reception. Both email reservation, checkin and checkout was unprofessionally done. For example, as we had spa(2x 1200DKK)-treatments that ran 30min pass the ordinary check-out time at 12:00 the staff had no interest in being helpful in that regard.

In conclusion, I would recommend staying away from the hotel, and rather make it into a day-trip to enjoy the spa and fitness facilities if going to Skodsborg.

Very nice hotel, with good rooms and great food. The spa department does not live up to my expectations in relation to the price. Very much is broken and teams are too quickly oversubscribed and supply of eg. saunagus are few.

On the Breakfast buffet IS NO MORE: caffe latte, warm chocolade, cappuccino, smoked salmon, avocado, sunny side up eggs, omelette, pan fried sausages, fruit smoothie, american pancakes, YOU HAVE TO PAY EXTRA a la carte now !!

For 2 years the buffet lost >50% of the selection..

Remote location. Bad sound proofing. Sounds wake you up at night.

The room with a view was small but good. Super friendly staff.

Very nice surroundings. Have a good massage and a delicious lunch. Well recommended. They also have a really nice spa area, with many different saunas.

Wonderful and very calm place, close to beautiful Copenhagen, but far enough to take some deep breaths, enjoy an amazing (spa) atmosphere and just to spend some quality time in an unique environment.

The service was top notch! Smiling and friendly staff. Beautiful surroundings and super nice hotel with delicious rooms and super beautiful spa area. The food was also super delicious. Definitely worth a visit!

Good place for a weekend wellness stay. There is not much to do in the city, but the hotel offers everything in spa and fitness.

Prices are also on the high end for most. But it's a luxury you should treat yourself to once in a while or wish for a new "sweaters for Christmas;). It was so incredibly relaxing .. I was so lucky to be able to see beyond the water, once in a while. It's all the details together..that creates the extra good experience for the soul.

I was not thrilled with their food selection in general. - a little too sparse. But that is part of the concept. And therefore it is not part of my assessment either.

SUPER DELICIOUS AND COZY LOUNGE AREA Definitely worth a visit for lunch, a light dinner, a glass of wine or coffee and cake.
I have heard that they also have a wonderful Sunday brunch but I have not tried it - yet I will soon

Great with full moon and Christmas lights and decorations and a natural daughter serving some of your goodies in the flea

The newly renovated room was fantastic. Super service all around. The spa has many wonderful offers. Unfortunately, the outdoor jacuzzi is a little too cold.
Would definitely like to visit Skodsborg another time. However, a little longer next time :)

I didn t try the Spa, both restaurant, lounge area and hotel rooms are really nice and on par with the quality you would expect. Good for business events.

I did not stay at the hotel, only uses their spa as a day guest. the spa facilities were absolutely incredible. people were friendly. I participated in a sauna gus followed by a jump in the sea (free, just a group of people standing around the entrance to a sauna saying hey we re doing this thing in 5min if you want to join? ) which was really awesome. the number of saunas, pools, tubs, steam baths etc. made it an incredible day of peace for me. it was mostly quiet although things were crowded in the morning. downside: the complete lack of towels. perhaps it is a european environ friendly thing, but i m used to there being stacks of fresh towels around for guests to swap out from sitting in sauna to drying off after shower. this was not the case here. there were small washcloths available for sitting on in the sauna but nary a bath towel to be found (save the one given with the robe and slippers).

Nice and clean with ok room. Breakfast a little scraped without real breakfast bread. No rolls, but chino rolls. Maybe ok for a spa hotel.

Lovely stay in beautiful surroundings. Good conditions, possibility to rent sup board. Lovely large spa area, delicious dinner and breakfast. Good service and delicious drinks.

Was visiting for conference, food was ok and rooms fine. However, nothing special extraordinary.

Lovely location, sea and forest right outside the door. Good parking, fitness center, hairdresser, physiotherapist, swimming pool, restaurant, good service.

The place you go when you have time to enjoy life, good food and a fantastic spa. Skilled instructors on fitness and a combination of members not found elsewhere.

Super place and the top floor restaurant has really nice food with a great view over the ocean. The spa is okay some of the facilities seams a bit old or lagging maintenance that's my reason for only four stars.

We had to book outside of Copenhagen during the Corona period because the government did not allow a hotel booking in Copenhagen until June 15th, 20. The facility has a retro charm. We were initially very disappointed with our small room on the busy street with no direct lake view. We decided to upgrade and didn't regret it. The fitness facility is in the new building, it has everything you need. The food in the Carl restaurant is expensive, because there is no other far and wide it quickly becomes expensive. Overall, the food is quite good.

The restaurant served delicious and tasty food. Very friendly and competent service.

The spa is great but it's probably not worth staying in the hotel as the rooms are dated and don't look like the photos at all.

Skodsborg is a class for itself in Copenhagen. It is close and yet far away. Completely perfect.

They are very bad at answering the phone / you have to wait very very long to get a call answered

Friendly and helpful reception and bar staff. The Carl restaurant was a total disaster the food was served raw and was subsequently dealt with unprofessionally. The quality of this restaurant is not 4 Star.

Great place to stay during business trip. Train station is 5-10 minutes on the foot from the hotel. You can make your daily workout, then relax on SPA included in the price. Modern, clean with beautifull sea sight.

Definitely one of the best spa hotels in DK which can only be recommended if you are looking for a quick getaway from the daily rush :)

Great hotel, but the spa didn't live up to the price.

Sambon and I and two of our friends have just enjoyed an overnight stay at the spa hotel. My overall score for the experience is 8.5 on a 10-degree scale. You are taken care of from the moment you put your feet inside the doors of the hotel, a concierge offers a glass of water while you wait for your turn at the reception, the receptionist suggests that you put your luggage in the room directly to later enjoy afternoon tea in the relax area. The Relax department is a nicely furnished lounge with fireplace, sofas and chairs in all kinds of furniture. Tea, coffee, cookies both useful and useless are served. After this, it is time for spa, a well-sized area with many surprises. The dinner in the evening is also senselessly good. The chef and his staff are doing a fantastic job of giving you that feeling of luxury that is gaining ground. What does not give 10 out of 10 possible on the grade are children in the pool and the sound level in the spa area. In a spa it should be silent for the total pleasure, it should be 16+ at the age limit. Also liked that the breakfast was of the smallest team. Do not misinterpret, because what was ahead was delicious and the staff was fantastic. The sound level lowers the rating by 0.5 and the amount of the breakfast offer by 1.0. This was one of the best span we have been to and can really be recommended both summer & winter.

Cozy Cafe area with plenty of space which means you can bring your children. Restaurant has a fantastic view and great acoustics which makes it easy to talk around a big table.

Super good experience.
We were given a room with a balcony next to the car park, but went downstairs and asked at the reception if they had another Double Superior with a balcony next to the parking lot. We got an incredibly beautiful and large room with both a bath and extra large balcony.
Really good service, great spa and lovely breakfast too.

Great surroundings and live music. Cozy place, however, the selection of dishes is not great and prices are expensive. $ 200, - for a burger law is too much

Facilities clean, breakfast exquisite, personnel very professional and willing to help. Recomendable.
