It's great if it's not crowded but the minute the people in masses arrive all the supposed Covid protections go out the window. They have all this signage and zero enforcement once you are in the park. No distancing in line, people allowed to walk around without masks and half the rides are closed. The level of control at the entrance was impressive but that's where it ends. Save your money. Don't put your family at risk.

Lines were too long and moved too slow compared to other parks I've been to. They dont fill up the rides, which makes the wait longer. People were cutting and the staff didn't care. Was not impressed.

I love going when it's not busy. Weekends can be too crowded. I won't even attempt Holidays in the Park anymore because of the crowds. I wish they would cap how many people can go in. I got separated from my 7 year old child while trying to leave the park because of the influx of people entering the park, last year. The rides are always well maintained. The bathrooms are always well kept. The staff is nice. My main complaint is the food. It is sooooo gross. Eat before you go, if you are wanting a meal. The desserts and snacks are good at least. I wish they would bring in a variety of food. I remember it being better when I was a kid.

Six flags over Texas is fun for the whole family, it really has rides for all aged groups. Although usually the lines are long during the weekends and mostly during holidays. I also enjoy the different types of themes they have. Even though the price is high, it's worth it, if you go the whole day or half the day. They also have restaurants and shows.

I took my children to Fright Fest and apparently chose the wrong weekend. I was disappointed in the daytime effects, I was really Disappointed in the night time situation by 7:00 pm you wanted to leave as quickly as possible! It was super packed the entertainment had issues trying to scare or interact with anyone due to how full the amusement park was! You could not even get into the simple rides without a 39-45 minute wait. Six flags is fun but Fright Fest was a huge disappointment!

I love coming here! I just wish season passes weren't so expensive. I wanted to get one for this year like I did last year, but they increased the price. That being said, I will always enjoy coming here when I can afford it. My favorite thing about coming here are the big rollercoasters and the funnel cakes.

This park is still one of my favorites. It s the first six flags that opened and is still able to stay relevant. The rides are fun, and there s rides for all ages. My 5 year old son loves this place too. They ve done a good job opening during the pandemic, and the reduced capacity makes it possible to get on many more rides than before since lines are 30 minutes at the most.

We come back because it is close, but it's become a constant upsale and the quality of the look and feel of the place go down hill. Rides half full because workers don't count off people correctly, just helps add to the waiting frustration.

Six Flags Over Texas is a great place for friends and family to go have fun, and ride roller coasters. It's best to get the season pass or Gold/Platinum member pass if you plan on coming on a regular basis.

Rides were fun and the staff was friendly and helpful! The park could use a but better signposting to help find what you're looking for. The food and parking prices are quite high considering what it already costs just to get in, but overall it's a worthwhile trip!

Quite a few rides were closed down. And some or most of their restrooms were just plain nasty. Come on... build a new restroom once in a while. Kids still had fun. They had sprinklers set up all over the park to keep people cool during the summer heat.

No refunds for rainy days. We have no control over the weather and they don't give refunds for anything. I've never been to six flags and have been excited to go but couldn't because it was raining and they don't provide refunds. So freaking stupid .

This would be the best time had IF they would CLEAN IT UP!! OLD WATER BOTTLES WHERE THE FISH AND TURTLES WERE!! Bathrooms were so nasty. The whole place needs a power washing!!! For as much money as things cost you should be able to clean it up!!!

Fun theme park close to home. Rides are enjoyable. Only 4 stars for two reasons: 1) many locations in the park are in a little disrepair. It isn't dangerous, just fading paint, etc. 2) less organized than a major park like Disney World, but they are in different classes and Six Flags is significantly less expensive.

Loved the park. It was cold and windy but it didn t matter. They sold coats and sweaters and t shirts that helped. Some were on sale. The kids didn t complain one time. They loved the rides and the Saloon show and dance. The food and ice cream were great! Popcorn refillable buckets were wonderful. The popcorn was hot and fresh. Bought a drink refill package and enjoyed drinking all day. The rides were fun for all our variety of ages. The park was clean and none of us ever felt anxious over any type of safety. The other visitors in the park were friendly and talkative. Just really had a great time and are all looking forward to going back this weekend!!

It was a fun experience for being in Arlington Texas. The lines moved pretty fast and the staff was friendly as well. As a Truck Driver I brought my Rig with no trailer and they were so helpful, so a shout to all the hardworking Staff of Six Flags Over Texas for a job well done !

Fun! Rollercoasters, great food, games, and more. What a great place to spend an afternoon. You would have to go for a few days in a row to be able to take in everything. Season passes are a great deal and they keep on giving extra stuff with it throughout the year.

Be careful for food pop up tents. They don't show their business name and are "popped up" adjacent to Six Flags restaurants; however, they DO NOT accept the dining pass. Other than that, Six Flags parks are always GREAT!

FALSE ADVERTISING!!! DON'T EVER BUY TICKETS ONLINE for this place because they will NOT HONOR THEM! My daughter and her boyfriend were just turned away because they were trying to use tickets that we purchased online less than a year ago with an expiration date of 09-23-2018. My daughter was sent to talk to a supervisor when the tickets wouldn't scan. The supervisor said that their system updates and changes the expiration date even though they showed her the original email and if we log into our Six Flags account it shows them still valid! They told her that she'd have to buy new tickets for $78 dollars each. What A SCAM! So she left in tears after paying $35 in parking and driving an hour for what was supposed to be a day of fun before she heads back to college! Don't even try to call because guest services is just a recording! All I can say is FALSE ADVERTISING IS ILLEGAL SIX FLAGS!!!

This place is a joke. Didn t even get to go in. After waiting in traffic for 2.5 hours, we get to the parking lot and realize an idiot designed it. Finally found a spot, proceed to get our season passes, and the attendants couldn t figure it out. Left, and will never return.

The rides are great, and we had a fantastic time overall. My only complaint and the reason for a lack of 5 stars is the extraordinarily high prices for all food and drink. Also, the flash pass is a little expensive, but quite worth it in the overall scheme of things.

Waited at the least 1:45 in line for a ride. Only able to ride one thing. Lines waaay to long $5-5.50 for a bottle of water Had to park 1mile from park and walk after paying 30.00 for parking . This was the worst amusement park experience I have ever had. Will never go again Prices ridiculously high for what you get out of it... was hoping for better for 1st time visit and was greatly disappointed.

I loved this place! It was kind of dirty, and usually it would be crowded, but if you go on a summer weekday, it is SO empty. Make sure you go right as it opens, though. The later you wait, the longer the lines get. There are lots of different rides, each varying in how extreme it is. This is definitely somewhere to go with the family. The Shockwave is a really good ride that never has much of a line, though on crowded days it can be packed everywhere. The Texas Skyscreamer is not fast, and I felt it was more about the view than anything.

We drove from Houston, ( 4hours) and got here and park closed for the day (12:31pm) We had family with us so it made it bad. We weren't planning on staying on town so that's what made it bad. Should have had a better announcement for people who are driving in. I understand safety, but this was an horrible situation.

The park is always in full force and all the employees seem to be ready for anything you need. If you need information and they can t answer they will guide you to someone who will. I ve enjoyed this park throughout my childhood and now into adulthood.

If you get there at 10 when the open, the lines are totally manageable. If you get there after 2PM, forget it. The day we were there the Riddler, Flashback, Judge Roy and Joker were all having "maintenance issues" at the same time. That made the lines on HarleyQuinn and Batman super long.

My Family really enjoys our trips here we have Season Passes. We like going year round more so in the Fall in Spring as it's less busy and not as hot. We also have Dining Passes what a deal. We get our passes as early as possible so we really get a Sweet Deal. Lines can get long, but if you are with family and friends time passes quickly. We usually stay overnight too so we can go early next morning and ride our favorite Thrill Rides.

Love the rides!! The lines are terrible of course just like any major theme park but ride operators are usually helpful in assisting for a smooth experience. The one thing that could use major attention is that the staff in the restaurants & concessions are almost always rude, uncaring & as slow as Christmas. They don't care about their job & it shows. That being said, I always expect it, prepare myself for it & keep smiling because it's been this way for so long I know that nothing is going to change..It really makes you appreciate the nice ones that you come across. If not for the terrible attitude of the staff they would have 5 stars from me. I mean we are Texans, We should be showing the visitors of this great state the hospitality that we are so proud

Must have changed management over the last few years. When I went several years ago we saw so many employees walking around sweeping and wiping down things. This time it was dirty and unkempt. I was shocked.

Well it was fun. Though like all amusement parks the lines were the killer. But, it was fun. There was a parade, there but it's certainly not Disney, but it good and quite nice However it gets 4 stars, because on one of the new rides It was called the Riddler. Anyway, while on the ride, my feet skid the top of the fence. I had to bring my feet up close to me in order for that not to happen again. You'd think they say something like that before you get on the ride l. Guess not. But, no injuries so I'm not going to do anything about it.

Was pretty disappointed yesterday. We had secured preferred parking only to get there and be told there was none available. I decided to cancel the visit because I was definitely not walking from a remote parking lot or the excess parking that is insanely far away. Overall, we've had good experiences and have enjoyed our passes. I'm sure we'll return after a few weeks after the craziness of Frightfest and before the holiday program goes into full swing.

The prices are insane. My kids rode 2 rides in 5 hours. The park wad only open fir a half day and we'r still spent well over $150 for them to freeze in line. The park will try to get you to spend another ungodly amount of money to ferry VIP status. These things are out of control. It's not even fun.

We have the platinum membership and go to the park often. We always have fun (though the weather doesn't always cooperate) and memberships pay for themselves quickly. We basically feel like it's a free park at this point.

I go for the thrill of the rides, it's very fun! Not gonna lie for food it can be pricey so I usually go eat at Subway across the street from the entrance of Six Flags. It is more fun with a group of friends of 3-6 otherwise having too many people in a group makes riding difficult. Overall it's a great place to spend time with friends! :D

Fun place with great coasters but we spent like 15$ on a really crummy funnel cake. The girl cooking it had to make it like four times before she was satisfied enough to serve it to us but it was still a soggy, uncooked mess.

Six Flags is great, and is at a perfect location. Fun for everyone in the family, with lots of rides, food options and entertainment for toddlers, kids and adults alike. We enjoy Fright Fest and Holiday in the Park, and we take advantage of the Season Pass option, as it is such a great deal.

Ohhhhh..... the love I have for this place. I m a thrill ride lover so I had an amazing time. It cost about 70 USD for an adult pass.. although it is cheaper to buy a seasons pass if you plan to go in on more than one day (and you should because there is no way you can go through all the rides in one day) Be sure to pick up a map and start with the rides that you love first. They have different levels of thrill intensity so you can get rides that would appeal to different individual tastes. You cannot go in with food and drinks but you can go outside to have the food you may have packed in the eating areas provided (food inside is expensive as you can imagine)

Great rides, small lines, at least when I was there. Got stolen from by the riders, but the security were amazing and attentive and helped me return most of my things they could. Piece of advice: don't carry anything you DON'T need at the park (ex. wallet with a lot of money, take just little). Try to wear a jacket with zip pockets and carry what can fit in them, so that you don't have to put your belongings in the bin before you get on the rides. If you Need a bag, try carrying a VERY large bag with you, which will be hard to put under the clothes without a noticeable unusually large "belly".

Really nice amusement park that has good deals on yearly passes. The lines weren't very long when I went in August and the people there were pretty nice that work there. It was clean and the rides were fun. They have DC themed rides that are cool.

If you hate Texas heat like myself, this is a perfect place to burn miserably amongst crowds of other hot&sweaty humans. The park has not changed much in 20 years and it has gotten very sunbleached & ran down. I will not return again during the blistering summer & will wait for fall when it cools off. If my kids become thrill seekers as they grow, we may get season passes but as of now they are too young & afraid of the larger rides.

Very enjoyable park, much less packed than Great America, really goes all out for Fright Fest! Plus they're open most of the year except the dead of winter, so it's much easier to find a good time to go.

Their weather policy and employees are abysmal. It rained the entire day and we ended up going on two rides and then heading home halfway through the day. Their employees wouldn t stamp our hands so we could come back later if the weather improved. They also wouldn t give us any refunds or change the dates of our tickets in advance.

Always a great time! The workers are very kind and helpful and the rides are always amazing. Finally got to ride the Joker and Riddler rides--though, sadly, not the Harley Quinn ride--and both were AMAZING. Jsyk, a season pass pays for itself in two trips, *wink*. Totally worth it.

Six Flags Over Texas is an awesome theme park. My first ever park and for being the original Six Flags park, Its still amazing. I honestly have no problems with this park. The convenience is good as to where there are bins on the ride platforms rather than buying a locker! I hope to come to all the Thrills that have missed me during these times. Anyway, there's a solid number of family rides which is great, there's something for everyone. Do I recommend you visit this park? Absolutely! You're guaranteed to have a fun time.

The rides were fun. Spent over 400.00 for 5. Almost as high as Disney. They haven't kept the park up. The rides are old with paint coming off. Some of the ride operators are rude. They talk to u almost " "robotic ". 5.00 for a bottle of water! The only good thing was we didn't have long lines for the rides.

Holiday in the Park is awesome at Six flags over Texas! We came on Friday after the kids got put of school at 12:30. The park opened at 2 pm and I am so happy we did. The crowds are low, but most of all happy and courteous. I love that during Holiday in the Park they serve S'mores over open camp fires throughout the park. We also rode the train for the first time!!! Bravo Six Flags!!!

Very clean park. It was a super hot day so we were very thankful for the numerous misters and shades. Workers were generally polite. Considering the heat I think they did awesome. I was very impressed with the safety checks on each ride. No slacking in that department. Go Six Flags! Very thankful for the fresh food market! It was tasty and clean food at a reasonable price. From the street entertainment, upbeat music, and themed areas Six Flags puts on a brilliant show.
