The haunted houses were GREAT, but even though it closes at 12am they don't tell you that the rides closes at 10pm and not all the rides were open. The few rides that you could ride, they didn't let you ride as long. You went around twice and that was it. Also if you have a season pass you still had to pay $10 for each haunted house per person. I would go again and I think they should add more haunted houses.

Kentucky Kingdom isn't as good as Kings Island in Cincinnati, which is only about an hour and a half away. But there are still enough rides for any thrill seeker to get their fix, and the water park is huge with many slides and two wave pools and two lazy rivers!

My family's first time there and I must say it exceeded our every expectation. The park is easy to get around and the wait lines were not bad. All the staff we had interactions with were super friendly. We will definitely be going again in the future.

We came on the same day as the KY State Fair and had to pay an extra $10 per person plus $10 for parking, which is uncalled for. That probably could have been sectioned off and better organized. Beyond that, this was my second visit since it re-opened. The parks were fun. Hurricane bay is better. The food is a bit over-priced, but good.

My family and I traveled 6 hours to come here because we wanted to go to an amusement park that was not cedar point. During this time we found many flaws. First things first although they dismiss by each row on rides they dont wipe the seats or anything in between rides. so if someone has covid they are gonna give it to every single person that sits in the seat and then transfer it to all the other rides so at that point it's pointless to even dismiss by different rows. The food was the worst. The pizza was $10 and it was burnt to a crisp, the burger tasted terrible, and the chicken tenders where super hard. Next, when I first entered the park they didnt say anything about my shirt (it said new york freaking city) and when we had to leave the park because one of my kids shoes broke we came back into the park and then all of a sudden it was a problem because it said freaking???? I told the lady that I was allowed in the first time around and that I have even been on rides and everything and nobody else said anything to me the whole time (it was about 430 at this point). I ended up having to turn my shirt inside out to be able to come in. Next, when we first parked we paid $10 to park no big deal when we left to go get other shoes we had asked the gentleman directing traffic if we would have to pay for parking again he said no just show them the receipt. When we came back we did but still had to pay and the lady said that the man didn't work for them?!?! But yet when we passed this man he had the same shirt on that the rest of the workers had on and he was helping guests cross the road and helping guest leave the park. That's kind of doing a lot for someone that doesn't work for the park. Other than these couple things the park overall was nice. There were lots of rides to go on the lines weren't super long most of the time it was a get on get off type of line. Most of the staff was nice.

In other amusement parks, the lines are always very long. However, in Kentucky kingdom, I have never seen a line longer than half an hour. My personal favorite attraction was the surfing simulator.

Great amusment. I started when I was young and it's still great after all this time I I've gotten season pass for the last 3 years and I expect to buy them for the years to come. They plan on making even more rides to amaze and entertain me. Everything about this park is great. Strongly recommend anyone here.

This park is great attraction wise... but there s one thing that can ruin you re whole experience there. Workers tend to seem bored, sad, and not the kindest. Now this doesn t go for all of them... but it goes for a lot. The Public Safety Officers are even worse. Every single one WANTS to get you in trouble for the most innocent mistake. I got in a horrific amount of trouble for lifting a restraint TOO EARLY! I didn t even know that it was wrong and they acted like I knew what I was doing!! Horrible safety officers that would be better off working at Dick s Last Resort. There they could be paid for being nothing but jerks!!!!!

I get season passes every year for my daughter and I. It's a good family fun place and the passes pay for themselves because we go at LEAST 10 times a year. Each trip I easily spend 40.00 for food, drinks, (funnel cake which is a must) and games. We also get our KK cup so we can have our drinks in a bigger cup. Imagine my astonishment when the website had Hurricane Bay opening an hour earlier on Memorial Day( @ 10 am). This This was an error schedule and we arrived an hour & 10 minutes early to stand outside. The first person KK worker I complained to didn't believe me because by this time the website was changed. However, another KK employee apologized for the mistake and gave me a 10.00 KK card. My point isn't the money, it's the principle of good customer service. Thank you KK.

Our 10, 6, and 4 year old boys love coming here. We try to arrive when it opens, stay for a few hours and leave before its crowded. Employees have all been very friendly and polite. My only complaint is the guests that smoke as they walk around completely ignoring the rules to only smoke in designated areas.

Being a new park, it seems as if it is heading in the right direction. There are some great things about the park and some things that could be improved.

GOOD:
The entire park was very clean and new, the drinks for $1 was great, and the $30 admission for Tennessee residents made the experience better.

A Lot of law enforcement... Makes it great for safety.

On the coasters there were elevators for patrons that have disabilities, so they don't have to walk up steps. I think that is great so that all people can have fun at the park.

There were also a lot of fair rides which made it very fun... Sometimes I felt as if I were at a county fair, and then I look across the street and see the new Storm Chaser which reminded me I was at and Amusement park.

Hurricane Bay looked like it was great! I was lots of people having fun, and it appeared to be pretty clean. Unfortunately I didn't go to the water park, but I'm sure it would have been a blast... Especially the Mile High Falls.

My favorite thing about this park was the Sea Lion show. They were very well trained, and kept me thoroughly entertained. I could tell that their trainers were also very educated with the animals, and that they enjoyed what they were doing.

BAD:
While the tickets are a good value, the park had a few things that just made the experience not the best.

1- The food was overpriced, I payed $13 dollars for a basket of chicken and fries that weren't the best.

2- The coaster are VERY far apart. If your planing on coming here, be ready to walk a bunch!

3- The time it takes to board the ride a a little long.

4- The T3 ride is unpleasant. The ride itself is good...But it would be much better if the entire thing didn't shake you a lot. The lap bars are another problem with that ride. The lap bars only lock to where they can't be opened, but they don't lock to where they can't fall further on your thighs. While riding, the lap bars went down very tightly on our thighs and I felt like my circulation was being cut short.

5- A little too expensive if your paying normal price, I inderstand that they offer the best value for season passes in the area, but the single day tickets are a bit expensive.

Over all this park was great, I would recommend coming if you just so happen to be in the area, be sure to ride the Lightning Rod and the Storm Chaser because they are AWESOME!

It's definitely no Cedar Point, but it's still a fun place to visit during the summer, especially the water park.
The wrist things for the lockers was a bit confusing to figure out, but besides that we had a great time.

First time and it was overwhelming but so much fun! A little larger (spread out) than I'm used to. I mostly stayed on the water park side. TWO wave pools, TWO lazy rivers, I tried a few water slides. Locker rentals are super easy to get into as they are wristband activated (no keys or codes to keep up with). Only thing I didn't like was if you get a locker in the waterpark, you will be far away from the theme park when you are ready to leave you'll need to either buy another locker rental closer or leave your things behind and come back to waterpark area before you leave.

The roller coasters aren't good enough for people who like roller coasters and there aren't very many rides for people who don't like roller coasters. The water park is much better than it used to be and the fact that they have free sunscreen is incredible.

Back in Cincinnati we have Coney Island and Kings Island, Kentucky Kingdom is like if they both got together had a baby. I loved the mix of adult and kid fun truly felt like it doesn't matter how old you are and I know it can be difficult to find that but they nailed it.

First tine going to Kentucky Kingdom and it was fun but that wooden roller coaster jacked my neck up, I swear I got whiplash. Lmao and also the best looking rides were closed. The roller skate roller coaster was sketch. A manager was looking at the ride like something was wrong with it, and apparently still let parents and kids ride on it. Skip that!! Lol so we got outta line and rode something else! We wasnt about that Final Destination Life. Lol Other than that, the lines were short, no long waits, free drinks all day bc of the special out of state visitors offer. Really good bc it was hot as all damn outside. THANKS GUYS!

Had a great 2 day visit with the out of state $30 special. Grounds clean and well kept. Has a water park feel but has 4 good coasters and several other classic rides. Great for the whole family. Giant waves in wave pool every 2 hours was awesome.

Me and my wife were kicked out of the park today. Because I was wearing a wrist strap mount with my GoPro 4 session. Before I went to the ride I asked one of the employees if it was ok to have this and he said yeah it's fine. After that security came and kicked us out. We didn't get any warning or anything.

Went there for first time. I couldn't enjoy much with a baby. what I really disappointed is I was very excited with ride 5D cinema but since I had a baby I had to sit on chair where it doesn't move at all...
Oh and I don't see any changing room for pool... so I had to change in bathroom which was nasty... locker was $11 or something like that. Ridiculously high price. Over all I do like it but I don't think I will come back.

June 28th 2019, I could ve died on your Kentucky Flyer. It was the worst roller coaster I ve ever been on. The 5D theater was better than KF and not to mention longer! Onto how I could ve died.. I went on with my brother - I was definitely within the weight limit but I do have thick thighs and the restraint barely fit. It was down and didn t budge but it didn t make me feel safe. When the teen girl, yes TEEN GIRL, came to check she got worried which made me worried but she got worried enough to check the handbook. I told her I could get off but she said it was fine and came over to push down one more time. That s not all! She started talking to the other TEEN GIRL working with her and wanted her to check the handbook, which she did. I really then wanted to get off but they reassured me it was fine but I didn t feel fine. They started the ride and I held on to my seat for dear life and I wasn t able to enjoy the ride :( . If I knew I was too big for it I wouldnt have got on it and if I was to die my blood would be on KK&HB and on those girls hands for bad safety measures. Which goes onto saying CORRECT THE WEIGHT LIMIT and tell the employees to not convince a customer theyre okay to ride especially if they second guess themselves. If I was safe why d she check me 5 times and have her and her coworker look at the safety rules. The ride wasn t just bad because of that... it was too short. It felt less than a minute long. I ve been here now twice and it s fine but the safety regulations could be better and you could hire someone who knows what they re doing.

Not kid friendly!!!!!!!! If you have a young child...

Not kid friendly!!!!!!!! If you have a young child just don't bother buying a season pass and spend a family day somewhere else........Went there today to get me and boyfriends season passes made which we bought before the price went to $100 at Kroger we asked the age limit that our daughter was 3 and very short and small for her age I asked what's the age limit they said 3. So I didn't get on for her one because she is 3 and u can clearly see she is too small to ride anything so June 7th 2016 we get up as a family me my boyfriend my son my daughter who is 3 get there excited to go and after waiting in the line for 45 min we finally get to part where we get our passes made. So we are excited my daughter my son my boyfriend then the person at the counter very rude says you know it's 2 and under that is free so you will either have to buy a day pass or a season pass for her. I said baffled what is she gonna ride I've already bought ours? Can I get a refund then on ours we can't come without her they said no so I said She is very short for her age she is small the only thing she would have been doing in the park is swimming with me. I said this laughing like she can't even ride any rides since we couldn't get a refund on our tickets we had to go ahead and buy another season pass for my 3 year old who won't ever even get 100 worth of fun out of it. She can't ride rides so I just to paid $100 for her to swim I guess I am just upset by how rude the guy was and that if I was told this by their sponsors that it was 2 and under I could have saved me money and never bought any passes. It was like I was forced into buying the pass for my daughter because I couldn't get a refund and my son already had his me and my boyfriend already had ours and we couldn't get a refund and I can't get a sitter everytime I want to plan a family day with my family to go to Kentucky kingdom there was just no other way then to just buy the $100 ticket which i could of got the day before for $60 if someone told me the right detail rude staff and the fact I just paid $100 for a 3 year old to enter a park she will prob never get any use out of. Not all 3 year olds are tall enough and I tried today she needed me to ride since I'm thicker then the seats and she is too short to ride by herself we just went swimming seen a lot of young kids throwing up gang signs and wearing rip t shirts cussing and acting a fool. I knew the food was gonna be crazy expensive so I liked the fact the drinks was $1 and free sun screen I just hope the staff gets friendly and they get rid of the rude teenagers that seem to be everywhere destroying the park. But everything else was great for my boyfriend and my son who rode rides and was able to do everything so just make sure your kid is the right height at 3 and that they like sitting and swimming all day and being away from other family members as they ride rides and seeing little kids ride rides you can't. It sucks. It's not very young kid friendly.

RESPONDING TO YOUR POST: I was at guest services they was rude very rude I couldn't get a refund I trusted that Kroger who is connected to you guys would give me the right info.so I did something I never do and didn't check facts first wish I would have because I would have saved me 240 bucks all together and not got 3 passes.my daughter is very small for her age so please tell me when we tried to ride every ride there how we are getting a value out of her season pass when she can't ride any of them?? I felt like I had to buy hers since you would not give me a refund for the one I got because I can't go without her so there was nothing we could do. And I'm sorry it's not very kid friendly. To me they focus on teenagers and 20 something adults. Look I'm just saying just because you have a very small kids area and I mean very small. You can't say your kid friendly. My daughter just turned 3 June 5th she is small.I will be back but I have to hire a sitter now when I do come thanks again for another problem.
