On behalf of this family: My 8 year old son was assaulted while attending UPS day at Kentucky Kingdom today! While standing in line waiting for the ride Lightening Run, him and his step mother were attacked after she asked a woman not to cut in front of them in line. My 8 year old was punched in the side of his head and his step mom was hit from behind and knocked to the grown where she continued to be hit. When security arrived, all they did was escort the group out of line and let them walk away. They did not do any documentation or get the names of the people to attacked my family. When police showed up, they informed us that there was nothing they could do as far as filing charges or a report because Kentucky Kingdom did not do what they were suppose to do by getting the names of the individuals! So now my family has no way of pressing charges for the assault on my child by an adult. I would like to think that a park that is suppose to provide a fun and safe environment for families should be able to do just that! I am beyond let down by this park! I am contacting you in hopes that you can help spread the word about this incident and make sure it doesn't happen to another child or family! Thanks

Very over priced. Ok I understand that you don't allow any outside food or beverages. But the prices should be more reasonable for just that reason. You want people to stay in the park but in order not to go broke you have to leave the park to eat. An kids eat all the time.

So so so fun! I love all the rollercoasters. Blue Beards Bounty broke down before we could ride but it was up and running in about 5 minutes. Very enjoyable for my entire family! Also the staff was helpful and had a sense of humor, which you have to appreciate. Thank you, Kentucky Kingdom!!!

Had a great time at Kentucky Kingdom only 39.99 and get 2nd day free. There was no long lines and the weather was perfect. Not everything was open as far as food places and few extra attractions but otherwise was great time. Loved the Storm Chaser roller coaster, not the biggest or fastest bit one the funniest I ever rode. Plan to go back at least one time before season is over. Park offers free sun screen and drinks too.

We went for veterans weekend and the price a big surprise, we got there as soon as they opened and there was no line on the rides, we rode every rollercoaster twice and then went to the water park. We had so much fun and were able to visit every ride and had time to relax and eat with plenty time to spare. The rides are pretty cool and some will catch you by surprise!!! A great getaway spot..

Unfortunately, it rained both days we were there, certainly no fault of KK's. The little one got to ride, so at least she had ride fun.
The park is well run and the "kids" who work there are all very friendly and appear to be good workers(the adults are great too!!!).
Maybe the weather will cooperate the next time!

Amusement park is fun. However with having such young staff they don't seem to be very knowledable when it comes to issues. Some of the employees are rude. Not all but a few. Staff needs way more training. Had an issue where the young lady charged me for wrong items and said she couldn't refund it that management would have to at the end of the day. Then had me repurchase my items she was suppose to have charged me for in the first place. Long story short I thought she knew what she was doing and now kk refuses to give me my refund nor did I get those items. Poor service if you ask me. Especially when we are loyal memebers. Train your staff kk properly.
Well 6 days later after continuously calling and reviews I finally spoke to an extremely nice individual in management who refunded my money. And said she will make sure her staff is aware of proper procedures. (Which was my only complaint)

Need to update out of state ticket information. I brought two grandchildren to park, like I do every year for summer visit.
The little girl at front ticket sales on Monday, 7/2, told us we needed proof of out of state residence. We had drove over one hour to get there, didn't have proof of residency on children.

Thank you for response, but if you will read I said that they are grandchildren. Showing my i.d. would not prove they live out of state. They visit from PA & Va.
Parents do not come for weeks of summer fun. Therefore could not show parents i.d.

I purchased a season pass when the park reopened last year. I was very pleased to see it reopen. The water park expansion is very nice, especially the tall water slide, which is very intense! Last year there were a few places where you could tell they had just reopened. That's an observation, not a criticism. This year, everything looks really nice. The Storm Chaser addition is great - a fun ride and that end of the park really looks nice now. I purchased a season pass again this year and it is a really great deal with free parking. The $1 drinks and discount on merchandise is a good deal as well. I think the park is great, and there are many of us who are very happy to see it open again. A great water park, great roller coasters, and it's not so big that you spend all day walking around. The lines aren't too long, which is nice (certainly better than what you encounter in larger parks). All in all, I'm very impressed.

We took our grandkids to the park and I put my phone and money in a waterproof lanyard around my neck. Went on a couple rollercoaster rides and they had security come and say it was a loose item on a ride and they ejected me from the park!! No refund. I mean I get it but just tell me to put it away!! Ruined a beautiful day with the family!

What a great amusement park. The rides were fin the shoes cute and the staff friendly.
Mid September cooler temps made it more pleasant.
I rode several rides and totally enjoyed them all.
Even with social distancing the lines moved quickly. Masks were expected and worn in all shops.
The prices for souvineers was reasonable.
All in all it was great.
Be sure and bring swim wear to enjoy hurricane bay. The water park section. It was all a blast.

I have been here 3 times so far and I really wish I loved it, but every time I go it seems like two things hold it back completely. The first is a headache and that is the layout. Many paths lead nowhere except to a dead end and the main paths are often hard to see. The layout and design are simply atrocious. The second problem can be so easily remedied and that is the food shops are always closed. We went on a Saturday afternoon and every food shop we found was closed except 3. A funnel cake stand, a pretzel stand and some place to go in that served chicken strips for one at a cost of $10.99 not including fries or drink. The only thing I can think of is that they intentionally close cheaper options so the only option you have left is ridiculously overpriced food. Of course at a theme park the food will be high, but not like that. Pay the extra gas and just go to King's Island. Much better rides, layout, design and food options.

The park was okay. Didn't really see the need for a two day pass. Me and my family were able to enjoy the entire park within hours of being there. Again I feel spoiled being from TX and living in Cali.

If this would let me leave no stars I would. We did not come across one friendly staff member. When we got there we witness staff arguing with some people that didn't look to be handled very professionally but whatever not my business. We later went to eat at one of the little food stands to get food and stood in line for about 20 mins waiting to order which was fine and understandable. After ordering I watched the fry cook place raw chicken on the grill out of a bag where he dipped it in a pan of water im assuming and
Did Not change his gloves after doing so. He them continued to do what he was doing. He pulled the frys out of the fryer that he would then be serving with the same gloves on. He then stood there talking to the cashier waiving his hand over the fryer with the wet chicken gloves on then causing the fryer to over flow on the floor. I asked him to change his gloves and he told me no he couldn't do that. I said you have not changed them since handling the raw chicken and he began to argue with me and wouldn't stop! So then the cashier then tells me I'm wrong for saying something to him and arguing with him as if I did something wrong. All I asked was for him to change his gloves. I then said I just want my money back which took another 20 mins. Stood there for almost an hour total for some fries. Only good thing I could say was rides were decent. Most likely won't be back!

Park is horrible on SO many levels. From under age children being left alone to literally do whatever to Park employees using foul language and taunting folks in the parking lot for pulling up a little far on a cross walk while trying to park. You can t get a phone call back from Park Management nor can you get a refund for Season passes that were purchased but not used. To many bad experiences has lead to my family never returning to this place.
We will happily be making the hour drive to Holiday World. Such a nice, clean, professionally ran facility.

Hopefully this place either shuts down again or taken over by different Management. This isn t the place it once was

What a great park! If you eat at the park, make sure you eat at the beer garden. Even if you don t drink!!!!!! The food is a similar price to the parks, but not similar in quality. The park food is McDonalds compared to the food in the beer garden which is like a steak house. The burger and fish and chips were unbelievable.

Alex at the beer garden was very knowledgeable about the menu, park and Louisville in general. He is an asset to the park.

Rides are amazing, park is clean and thrill rides will scare you.
