Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom Review

Very impressed by the politeness and maturity of the staff.

Kentucky Kingdom is such a great park. it's a must go for any roller coaster enthusiast. the staff is great the food is good and the rides are very fun. Storm Chaser and Lightning Run are two of my favorite roller coasters of all time and I can't wait for Kentucky flyer.

So much fun. Lockers went up a $1 in the middle of the season tho

Been a couple of times, really fun, free sunscreen, eat before you go so you don't spend alot & grab a map

Horrible customer service. Monday 5 21 my daughter backpack was stolen from storm chaser. Inside was her voucher from Kroger. We still have record of purchase but Kentucky kingdom Mgt. Team refuse to assist or compensate. Great way for middle school honors graduate to start the beginning of summer. Thanks Kentucky kingdom for showing what you all are all about..very dissaponting. Record breaking weather at that. Very sadden by this.. they say the helped but could not offer the child a pass or even at discount. How can such a huge corporation family own treat a fellow kentuckiana like this...horrible .Horrible ppl

Lazy River is worth buying a pass for if your not much into the roller coasters. I love judt floating away....

This is definitely not worth the price you pay. Pathetic amusement park . The water park was okay, but wayyy to crowded. Staff was very rude all around. The attractions are very out dated. Take the extra hour drive to go to the neighboring amusement park.

Season passes are well worth the money. Nice park and close to home.

All but one ride was open during our visit last week, which is impressive for any park. Lines moved well and we didn't have to wait more than 20-30 minutes for any single attraction despite the expected hot Saturday crowd. We didn't experience any customer service issues, though I agree with the sentiment that some employees clearly enjoy their job more than others. Food is expensive but it's not cheap operating a theme park - people forget all the behind the scenes work that goes on to keep the place safe and presentable. I do question what the long term (3-5 years?) plan is for KK, as there does not appear to be much real estate to expand the park with. It's a fun day out if you can get discounted admission or consider a 2-day pass. Perhaps KK can consider alternate entrances in the future, such as for Hurricane Bay fans.

Great family environment without the excessive crowds

I have never been to this park yet but from the pictures and friends that have been there I'm going to give this park a try. I can't wait till spring. I'm a coaster nut so I will be checking you all out. See you next year.

This place was so much fun! Got our tickets at discounted price because we were traveling for bball. Paid for 5 tickets, 2 yr old was free, total was around $130 and were good for 7 days because of the tournament. Lots of stuff for lil kids and big kids. Nice water park.

Renovations and customer service are AWESOME! SO HAPPY the KINGDOM is back!

Mobile website is clunky and unforgiving. Customer service was unfriendly and actively screened a phone call from me. Why would I rate this so high then? I got a hold of a supervisor who actively tried to get in contact with me again to fix the problem I had and tried to offer me more than what I actually needed. Also, try the original Hurricane if you're old enough to drink. Super tasty.

Some things were good and some things were ok. We live by the six flags in Arlington Tx and they don't have the shade trees there that they doi here. Overall we had a blast and would live to go again

It was fun!! The roller coasters were freakin awesome!!! I don't like the fact that there is alcohol sold in places like this. There could've been more smoking areas. The food wasn't the greatest. Needs paved parking lot. I rode rides I said I wouldn't. It was a great gift to share with my family of sisters! I love them all! This is probably the last major event with the group, it was bitter sweet. You all be sweet to each other....Love Heals

Kentucky Kingdom is a great place to take the kids to have fun. Not as costly as some parks, and a whole lot less time in lines.

The place is very cozy and the best to relax there is a lot of discipline and perfect attention from the workers

Best place I've been to since Opryland! My son and I loved it and had the best time. Great family place and pricing is not bad. Already planning another trip!

Fun, reasonably clean. Good rides (from the perspective of two 13-year-old boys). However, the facilities are really showing their age.

Its really fun and entertaining especially with friends.

Pay for kids ride in advance and they don't qualify for kids price to tall but can't ride half the rides too short. So had to pay adult price and not be able to ride the rides

My Daughter Nevaeh got a lifeguard job this year, so proud of her!

I used to visit this place when it was Kentucky Kingdom originally before it was renamed to Six Flags and then renamed again to Kentucky Kingdom. I am glad that Six Flags is no longer a part of this. There's so much to do here and so many rides. My family absolutely loves coming here and so do I. I would absolutely suggest buying the season pass if you plan on visiting more than two times.

Very interesting and cozy with a good variety of offers and services

It's been 21 years sense I was here last. And besides a few ride name changes. It's just as much fun as it was then.

Not too much to do for adults and barely anything to do if you're plus size. 300lbs is about the limit for rides, after that you cant fit into the seats. Most of the rides are for children, and the side shows are a rip off. Water park was great though

It was ok but they want kids to pay full price but they get rejected a lot on some of the rides

Spent most of last Saturday in Hurricane Bay, and I cannot say enough about Jefferson, who was manning Adventure River most of the day! He was so enthusiastic, so cheerful! He really made our day there so much brighter! Thanks Jefferson for being so awesome!!

Their was hair in the pool and was people cussing in the pool

We enjoyed the Hurricane Bay area today.... going back tomorrow for more....

Best amusement park for the money! Free drinks, free sunscreen, 2 parks, 2 days, 1 price! Can't beat it!

Enjoyed our visit several years ago for the Toby Mac concert and plenty of great rides.

Favorite place to play! Bring your swimsuit, the waterpark is the best part.

Excellent family fun. Very affordable. Drinks $1.00, meals very affordable for a theme park. Lots of rides, lines no more than. 20 minutes long which is usually 5 to 10 minutes.

I love it even tho we have a pool it is so worth getting a pass

It's a mess. I rode 3 rides within 5-6 hours...waste of time. Lines were too long, no tarps to shade you while standing in line along with no fans/water misters. Women's bathrooms were so crowded you couldn't use the bathroom, almost had to pee in the grass because I couldn't hold it much longer until I found a restroom with an open stall...

Smaller than I expected but good place to have a fun day

The staff can be slow at times, but otherwise this is a great park at an affordable price.

Great place for me to take the kids during summer break. Lines not to long and park was clean. Love the water park and rides. Food is a bit pricey, but expected. The first time we went some of the ride operators weren't checking the height of some children who needed to be checked. I actually had to ask for my child to be checked. He just barely made the mark. This happened on Thunder Run the wooden one no one was checking the height requirement. Just letting all come on in and sit down. Other than that we had a great day.

Great water park. Could spend many days there without getting bored.

I can ride a skateboard down a hill and it be better than most the coasters there not gonna lie. But it s a ight place to chill with friends

This place does not even deserve 1 star. By far the worst place to spend your money! Strongly recommend going else where. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE!!!!

The rides are small, but it's fun enough for the family. The water park is better.

Had a great time. We bought a season pass to save money for the next trips. Great fun for the price.

Plenty of rides for the big and little kids. Loved the Sea Lion show! Plenty of benches to sit and rest. Food choices were good.

Hurricane Bay is the most fun water parks that I have been too, and look forward to my next trip!

Not as big as some other theme parks like Cedar Point, but for the price it's a much better value. Especially if you're from out of state. If so they have a current special of 2 days at the park to include the waterpark with unlimited free soft drinks for $40. There may not be as many rides as some of the bigger parks but there is still a good amount and they are good quality.

Not good for amputees 90% of the roller coasters you cannot ride if you're an amputee

So awesome because the new 5 rides the t3.

It is a very nice family park. There may not be as many rides and attractions as some if the competition but what they have is a lot of fun for the whole family. They have a dedicated section for toddler rides. Adult rides are a bit aged but still give the thrills. My only concern is the food selection. All they have is fried food and pizza type of carnival food. Not much alternatives. It is well maintained and clean.
