So me and my family visited Kentucky Kingdom today, we didn t mind wearing our masks to stand in line but or doing any of there other policy s they had in place, but yet no works were wearing gloves to do food and drinks. You couldn t fill your own cup up a worker had to do it, but no gloves at all. Not one drink station in the park had gloves for there employees, but yet we were told to wear a mask and stand 6 ft apart but you can touch my glass after you took my money and touched your face to get my drink while never washing your hands.

What is most important to me is my young daughter loves this place! The joy and excitement that she has every time we visit is priceless to me. We are season pass holders for 3 years now. The staff has always been friendly and helpful every time we need their services, food is pretty standard but good, and the park is clean. Kid ride area is wonderful, Hurricane Bay is always the favorite spot. We have a great time as a family every time we visit.

Every lawn chair was extremely dirty. We are talking caked on crust here. The tubes for the lazy river was even caked on dirty. The slime going in and out of the sloped grading for the lazy river was dirty. You wouldn t believe how many folks they can fit in a wave pool. I was actually shocked at the amount of rides they have so that was good but man it was dirty. The bathrooms were nasty. My daughter came down with walking pneumonia after going there so I m not certain if the pools were appropriately and adequately chlorinated. That many people, I would wager not. Very disappointed to say the least.

I live nearby so it's a nice mini vaca. Something to do outside with friends. I don't think some of the younger employees take their job very seriously. I was getting on thunder run coaster and a guy didn't check anyone's seat belt on the left, just the lap bar. The girl checking people on the right side of the train however checked both belt and bar. Also, when getting on rides outside of water park workers seem to just go through the motions. Kinda felt unsafe at times not double checking to make sure ride and riders were properly secure. I want to feel like the ride and rider is safe and secure and for some reason I felt differently mostly due to a few ride attendants looking like they just wanted to be off work and not engaging with me and making me feel safe and aware of the rules or regulations for each ride. Just something to consider. I know it's an everyday job for these teens and they see the rides go over and over but for the guest it's more of a one time thrilling experience and we all want to feel safe.

Definitely ended up getting the season pass, I recommend you get on the drop down slide thingy, the orange one. Lots of options for food, drinks, and sweets. Even better selection of rides for the water park and regular amusement.

If you haven't been here in a few years and remember this place as being dirty or a rip off, give it another chance. It's under new management and is better in every way. While not on par with Holiday World yet, it's a good alternative if you live in Louisville don't want to make the drive.

No shade and not allowed to put up any of the 100 umbrellas they have on premises due to "wind"!!!! A water park with no shade makes perfect sense! Here's an idea, buy some umbrella bases with the thousands of dollars you make a day you junky carnival in a mall parking lot dump!

I did lifeguarding here last summer and it was terrible. They make you stand for hours and your breaks are short. I remember when I was getting assigned my locker and I took my phone out to write my code down then for some reason I got pulled out of training to get yelled for WRITING DOWN MY COMBONATION. It was ignorant. I remember I had to use the bathroom so bad but I was on post... I told my lead and they took almost 3 hrs to relieve me so I could use the restroom. Apperently a couple life guards walked out on the job and we weren t rotating. I even remember standing in the cold rain a couple times until the park came to their senses to close the whole park down. They don t really show any appreciation for their guards. It s sad. But I did made a lot of friends & the guest were usually nice to us.

First time here. Fun place but not many signs and have to use the map most of the time. Some staff were nice but others seemed to care less about our questions. Hurricane Bay was fun but the wave pool had so much chlorine in it that my face burned. I get why it's needed but wow. Finally the fact that my 7 year old was tall enough to ride the fastest roller coaster that flipped upside down but wasn't tall enough for the old Himilaya? That didn't make sense. Need to probably look into that. Still enjoyed Holiday World more but we are willing to come back to KK and try it again

We all had a blast, 8 kids and 12 adults, travel from Ohio. We all plan on going back, with more family and friends.
I had heard some negative things about the park, but untill you go for yourself and see very clean and friendly staff.
I can't say enough good things about Kentucky Kingdom Go and check out for yourself you won't be disappointed

We took out 13, 5, and almost 2 year old. They each had a great time. Lines were short during the week. There were plenty of rides for each the child and lots of swimming fun. Half of us are vegan. My only complaint is it was hard to find anything to eat. We resorted to French fries as a snack and went out to dinner elsewhere immediately after our visit.

Prices for food is high(big surprise) eat before you go. Can't bring anything and I mean anything to eat or drink in not even a bottle of water. You can bring a bottle to fill. Besides that if you plan to coming more than three times get a season pass

Ever since I was a wee little boy I loved to come here. The roller-coasters are thrilling (Lightning Run is my personal favorite), the water park is refreshing on a hot summer day (Deluge is my favorite water ride), their food is scrumptious (I've had the pizza, fries, and funnel cake), and last but not least the employees I've come across have been enthusiastic about their jobs. Come with family, friends, or even by yourself and you should have a good time. My rating: 5/5 stars.

Get your a $$ to K kingdom on the double. The price can't be beat, the rides are plentiful and great. Huge spot for the kiddos. When they include the water park it really goes above and beyond. Tn folks, screw Disney. Save a grand and go here.

Best amusement park in Louisville but not much to compare it to. Great water park with a wave pool. Awesome roller coasters. Excellent places to eat inside the park. Craft beer garden with a great selection. Mixed drinks poolside. This place is amazing and for 69$ season pass you can't beat it.

Always have fun at KK. Wish the food prices weren't so outrageous, and the cups were bigger. Paid $8.99 for a souvenir cup and it doesn't hold very much beverage. Wish there was more shaded areas to sit at, but still had a great time with the grandkids in the waterpark. Got a season pass so will most definitely be going again!

Terrible! Drove 3.5 hrs. to be told we could not enter the park. There was a "buy out" and they wouldn't let us buy tickets.
Normally we would buy tickets online and I actually even added it to my cart without any issues. But we were looking for a "Fastpass" and wanted to wait until we got to the gate to purchase if they had those available.
We were told that it was listed on their calendar but again it was not. As I said before it should not have let me add the tickets to the cart online if they were closed for a buyout.
#goodtimes

As for your response... again no it was not! My husband went back and showed your employee that it wasn't listed and she said "it needs to be revised".
Let's just speak hypothetically. If it "was" on the schedule, we should not have been able to add tickets to the cart for that day and it should be listed on the home page of the website!
You're wasting my time!

Never again!

I'm local to Kentucky Kingdom and have loved this place for years, everytime I come and ride I have an absolute blast with friends and family of any age. Season passes run a good deal when they're offered and even better getting an early bird special price. I also like how they do events as a holiday special too. They have a craft beer garden and beach bar but the prices are high, so is food and drink. Overall I meet good people and have a blast each time I go (still have to ride all the rides)
