Affordable family vacation in a great area. There's a lot to do between the amusement park and the water park. Kids of all ages should stay entertained. We booked our tickets as part of a package that included a hotel as well (Crowne Plaza across the road).

Just went for the first time this year with my babies, The line to get your pass made before entering was long but went really quick and I'm assuming the reason for asking me for my recipet and reimbursing me the $10 I paid for parking was just because I was getting my pass made? Not sure but it helped once we was inside! Went to cool off at hurricane bay before leaving and overall we had a bunch of fun even with it being as hot as it was when we went. Only thing I had a issue with was my 3yr old barely not being tall enough and then when I asked if he could slide with me was still told no.

FYI: If you get on a ride at Kentucky Kingdom and are holding your phone in your hand to secure it, not to take pictures, but to secure it, the workers won t say a word, but instead call the police and have you escorted from the park.

No one ever checked to see if my 3yr old met the height limit, but they sure had many security officers and police escort us over holding a phone because it s a safety violation . My 3yr old was right barely at the line, but never mind checking to see if he met there 40in height requirement for their new Flyer ride. Never mind saying would you please put your phone away and let that be that.

Way to Ruin a family get together to celebrate a 6yr & 8yr olds Birthday at Kentucky Kingdom!!!

This is NOT a safe place for small children! Don't take your children here! We even paid for 2 day passes and didn't use the second day due to our experience with almost drowning and having not one but two lifeguards refuse to help me and my toddler. I am a Google guide and give great reviews for businesses, this is the first bad one I have left so that should give you some indication of how dangerous this place is.

We had a great day, went on a Mon, wasn't too crowded and got to ride everything over and over. My son loved the wave pool, spent a lot of time in there. The staff was great, area was clean and everyone maintained a safe distance. Great family fun!!

It was ok was here for a company picnic to me it was a lil scary because someone or ppl always get hurt here. In the wave pool I saw a kid get hit in the nose and blood was falling down his face. A girl got a black eye and later that week I heard on the radio some ppl got hurt in a boat incident. Over all its a big risk .... The food is extremely high and they check your bags at the gate one person threw away my cigarettes and they have smoking benches in the park...they just are doing to much if you ask me. I believe they pay more on security walking the park than fixing the rides so ppl actually don't get hurt.. Probably why they got sued so long ago. I'm sure they will again just my opinion.

Had a blast with my family for 2 days. Very good price! Few things I would change...Wish they were open later during the week. we weren't ready to leave at 7pm.

Also, I didn't like that some of the rides didn't open when the park did. I got in line for a roller coaster right as it opened and then realized that right didn't open until noon. Disappointed!

Overall, had a great time though!!

Clean environment. With the virus that's going around, I was a bit nervous to go at first but everything seemed to be clean and precautions were in place. It was during the week and there was very little lines. I hadn't rode rides in over 15 years due to my weight, I was concerned about fitting on some of the rides but the operators were kind and helpful.

well , I had so much fun but I did not like the fact that kids run's all the rides , it did not feel safe , they should have adult or mature people for our and their safety , and also most of people were not wearing masks

Kentucky Kingdom has been a local favorite for over 30 years, and after just one visit you'll see why! They have really put the focus on families to ensure kids of all ages (1-99) can find something they will enjoy.

The park was clean and the staff was nice. They have free water and sunscreen stations throughout the park. There were a few rides closed but I guess that is to be expected. My only negative about the park is there are only like 3 or 4 rollercoasters.. it's basically a huge water park.

Before entering, you were required to get your temperature tested, but this can't really display if you have COVID because you could be asymptomatic or your symptoms haven't appeared yet. The admission price was fair for us ($30 p/person, out of state, with free drinks). The rides were so fun; although, some of the lines were not going efficiently mainly due to the social distancing they're performing on the rides. The drink stations had a system where you couldnt touch the drink dispensers, which was good for preventing contamination and transversing COVID. One downside that I noticed (besides the long lines) was that there were quite a few young kids smoking in the smoking areas, and there was nobody monitoring those areas; although, that's none of my business. Fun park, decent customer service, okay waiting times, good response to COVID. 8/10

This place has one of the best service there is. They take the best procedures when evacuating because while the airport beside it had alarms going off for a tornado warning, all of the visitors and employees had to go. Those with without a ride had to go to another buildings to keep them safe. I had took my bike slippers (because I went swimming that day) and booked it to my car while another visitor told her friend to come on before she gets swooped.

This park makes you take off your glasses for every roller coaster. It's extremely annoying and tedious. I wouldn't recommend this park to anyone who wears glasses and I will not return because of this policy.

I can't enjoy the roller coasters if I can't see anything.

Amazing food, you get a lot more then most other parks at the food stations, drinks are cheep, and if you got your pass last year, drinks are free! Little to no wait for rides and all the staff are friendly, they even have dedicated quiet rooms for newborns. They accommodate all guest and I haven't seen one issue left in the open

What a disappointment. This place is ran down extremely bad. Nothing has been updated ever. I figured after re opening a few years ago they would have updated and cleaned up. Looks like they just opened right up. Everything is faded, wooden board rotten etc. We went to the water park it was ran down too. To look at the rest of the park I m sure they skimmed on chlorine too. Never any smell of it. Which scared me, this is one place that needs a lot of it. And the amount of filthy people was unreal. I was concerned to even let my kids in the water. They went to change in the changing area and it smelled like weed something horrible. So we had to find else where to go. People walking around with adult drinks. This place is out of control and not family oriented at all! We left without riding one ride. I don t trust this park at all. Save your self time and money and go else where

We had a blast here. Make sure you get there early so you can reserve a spot under an umbrella if you so desire. It was awesome to have free refills and sunscreen! This place was busy but not so busy that you had long waits for anything. We did the 2 day pass with the 2nd day free so we stayed in a hotel and enjoyed it again the next day.

Strong potential for Covid spread. Masks required ...

Strong potential for Covid spread. Masks required ONLY at the entrance of the park. Masks can be discarded inside the park, except in stores and food stops. Social distancing is recommended but anti-maskers don't pay attention to that request. Little to no distancing in ride lines. Some park employees and ride operators had masks down under their chins. Yes, rules are in place to help combat the virus spread, but I saw no enforcement. Yes, public safety announcements are made throughout the park but again, people pay no attention. I made such a bad decision in coming here, and purchasing a season ticket. I will not be returning EVER. Anyone with a healthy respect for Covid-19 should stay away. It's all about money, not saving lives. They claim they enforce the rules.....they do not! Distance markers are missing in numerous areas and there is certainly NO distancing in ride lines. As you as approach the end of the ride lines, where employees are located, there is more attempt to make people social distance. Overall, still a hotbed for Covid spread.

I gave this rating because of the waterpark. It is one of the best and my family gets season passes every year just for that. The rollercoasters are another story. I am used to "real" amusement parks like Cedar Point and King's Island. There are like 4 coasters here and they are not the best. But the park is fun and the kids love kiddie land even though it isn't huge, but it does the job. The food is actually pretty good and with season passes you get $1 drinks which is great. Out of state guests can get a two day pass that is cheaper than a 1 day ticket for residents, so check that out if you don't live in Kentucky!
