We ordered tickets with a hotel package for a specific day, the day we arrived the park was closed for a private event, we came from out of state for my daughter's birthday, they said they couldn't refund or give tickets for later, it was our fault for not looking on calendar for black out dates, I'm sorry I just checked to see operation hours, didnt think about black out dates! Never again! Bad policy!

Every year I buy passes for my entire family in ad...

Every year I buy passes for my entire family in addition to spending money on food, drinks and games. Recently my teenage son went to Kentucky Kingdom with his basketball team(about 9 kids) and stopped by the drink station . Some kids bought soft drinks and my son and a couple other got water. The public safety guy though he saw my son get lemonade instead of water and Kentucky Kingdom has revoked his season pass. I have talked to my son and several other of the kids and he only got water. I have asked to see a video tape numerous times showing my son getting something other than water and this is something they
can not provide. I was told that the pass would not be returned and they can not provide any information other than what someone thought they saw .My child is always sent with enough money to buy food and several drinks and it's a shame that we will no longer be going to the park.

Update in regards to Kentucky Kingdoms response .. This is a false accusation and it's considered slander.... Thank You for responding in regards to my review considering I have left numerous messages for an "Adult" manager to call me back and no one has. Lets be clear, my son did not steal lemonade and I previously stated in my review. I was only requesting to view a video to show you all he did not get any drink other than water.I would appreciate if an adult could return my call and not a teen to resolve this matter.

WORST PARK EVER FOR YOUNG CHILDREN

WORST PARK EVER FOR YOUNG CHILDREN
This park was terrible...holiday world is SO MUCH BETTER!!!!! I visited this park from Illinois for 1st time on 7-3-18 and was Shocked at how poor the staff acted. I name staff member running the bumper cars said that she didn't have 1/2 the bumper cars working bc she didn't want to assist in getting them untangled when needed and only had 5 cars going (another 5 were parked at the side of the ride making the wait fine RIDICULOUS)...HOW IS THAT BUMPER CARS, YOUR SUPPOSED TO BUMP OTHER PPL! 2ND, A man at another Waterpark attraction acted as if he was intoxicated..a lifeguard running a water slide!!! I don't know if he was so tired from heat?!? He was also picking a zit off of his back which was bleeding and proceeded to keep wiping it off in the water. We went down and found the nearest security guard to report that this man obviously needed some help and they said they would get someone on it but we saw no one going up to relieve this lifeguard. Third my daughter was lost in the park for over 40 minutes!!!! When we tried to report it they said that they would look and we come to find out that no one reported it to internal personnel even though I told 3 security officers at the time. When I got to the third officer after 15 minutes of looking for my daughter they said "oh you have to go to the front of the park to report that so we can get it in our COMPUTER system. we don't ever send out public alerts over walkie-talkies". What?!?!? He then proceeded to tell me..."If we see a child lost in our station we will report them but we don't help people look for children" and therefore was not looking for my daughter. Thank God God was looking out for her because the park was of no help to my four-year-old daughter!!!! I will never ever go back. When I tried to call Public Safety about this issue "Aubrey in public safety department" just said "Kentucky Kingdom doesn't lose children, parents lose children and our policies are fine and don't need updating!!! We don't broadcast it bc it's the parents responsibility...your complaint is not a complaint, you cannot talk to a manager, and hung up the phone in me TWICE!!! IT's not our fault she kept saying when all I wanted to do was to talk with someone about updating their lost child security measures bc SOMEONE WILL BE STOLEN THERE! Even Walmart has a code Adam meaning they search for missing children. This was a terrible experience, I have had terrible customer service with no resolution of this issue, and I have subsequently turned them into the Better Business Bureau in which the Better Business Bureau has sent my complaint on to the Kentucky attorney general because of the lack of security regarding children's safety at this park. If you have young children do not attend this park. Six Flags in St Louis and Holiday World will both help you look for your children and report that they're missing. I checked with their policies. SHAME ON YOU KENTUCKY KINGDOM AND AUBREY IN PUBLIC SECURITY OFFICE NEEDS A NEW JOB!!!

The worst experience that I've ever had at a "family fun" park... We attened the park on August 8, 2014. We came in from out of state and the weather was not good. We initially asked for a refund, but was told that we would not be given a refund. Most of the park events were closed due to the weather, but we were not allowed to have our money returned...The park closed 3 hours early due to the weather, but we were not allowed to have our money returned...THE WORST TIME EVER....WE WILL NOT RETURN AND WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PARK TO ANYONE

One of the few theme parks that actually have all their equipment and rides operational. It was clean, and in the water park there is even two bars with great food. Also has the tallest water slide in the country.

Entry tickets are too expensive!! We ONLY get the chance to go when Amazon gives employees and their families free tickets!! It would be nice if a "Typical" Working family could afford to spend a day here and afford ALL that KY Kingdom has to offer!!

My boys - 6, 4, and 15 months - all loved Kentucky Kingdom. Lots to do and mostly reasonable waits. The young kid sections of both the park and Hurricane Bay are right on. It seems like it would be great for all ages, really, but they've hit a home run for the littles.

The fair was good as usual. Lots of food, just pick the right vendor. Don't get the meatball sub. It's just 3 meatballs in a soggy hot dog bun. Definitely not worth $9. Lots of rides for the kids. All kinds of cool things to see and do.

The rides were very exciting and very fun. My family had a awesome time riding all the rides. (Including Lighting Run)

The thing i hated was that the food was overpriced and the height limit was unacceptable. For exampled if i could go on thunder run, why couldn't my children ride the Himalaya's?

It's a fun place but there glasses policy is bogus for people that are legally blind and need their glasses to see I understand their policy that you can't ride the rides with them and that they are being safe but it's not safe when the legally blind can't see on a ride either they have straps that cost money but don't know how much but they should make the straps free for those that have to wear prescription classes it would make more sense and charge those that wear sunglasses for straps and that wanna wear their sunglasses on the rides please fix this policy and I will change my rating and will give you more stars it's just not right. No more free drinks either they are a $1.00 now smh so try not to faint or pass out from the heat.

Ok time. Everything's a little dinged up but seems safe and functional. Food is super expensive but the chicken tenders were about as good as they come. Big chunks of salt on the fries. Lazy river was nice.

Went to Kentucky Kingdom for the first time. For the price of a ticket - and the food cost - this park is outdated and more like a dismal fair setting with a water park attached. the water rides are ok, which is where most people were found, so long, long wait times for water rides. Employees are apathetic and untrained. First restaurant we went to a Casa Mia Pizza, the girt at the register could not tell me what items came in the salads, then after about 15 minutes waiting on someone else to come out and tell her - told me they were out of salads and it was only 12:00 in the day. Second restaurant Taco Tequila - after waiting in line for about 30 minutes, a new employee, first day, had no idea how to make the food I ordered. Another staff pointed at the food, this, this, and this, yet there was NO training at all, and he ended up making the worst plate of tacos I have ever seen. I've had better customer service and seen more events at a traveling fair vs an outdated, dismal looking amusement park. Will never go back.

Friendly staff, HENRY! We loved Henry, the maintenance man who helped get my sons phone back, it fell out of his pocket on a ride, yes, smh, but it fell in a place we spotted right away, that in itself was a miracle. The only issue I have is the hours of operation, we had the two day pass and it happened that our first day had been bought out, and we lost like 3 hours! Small park, nice for young families, super expensive lackluster food.

Met family halfway in Louisville, KY for the first time and wanted to go somewhere to entertain for a couple of days. We live out of state and we took advantage of the discount and free drinks. If you purchase tickets on phone they will scan them on the phone. No need to print them out. I saw jugs of sunscreen that anyone could use for free. It was very clean and some lines were long, but not as long as ones at Cedar Point where I live closer to. It was a clean park and a fun experience! Adding this to next summer's fun!

Overall park and pricing is excellent. Around $30 per person for 2 days plus FREE SOFT DRINKS. You have to be out-of-state to buy this package. Rides are suitable for people of any age. River Rapids line was short but, we had to wait 40 minutes just to get a boat. You don't get soaked but a poncho will really help. I poncho and didn't get wet...AT ALL!! And I still enjoyed the fun. Kentucky Kingdom is really fun and close. You should really go there.

Went on a Friday and the lines weren't bad at all. Expect ~10m wait for most coasters and 20-30m for water slides. One-time admission is almost pointless; go for the season pass (unlimited admission, free parking and discounts on everything)

My daughter went with a group of friends. They started at the water park, then headed to the rides. On the first coaster, her friend's secured phone was spotted by the ride camera. On exiting the ride her friend was told she was being ejected from the park. The lady (I use that word loosely) asked to see her season pass. Once she had it in hand, she informed her that she couldn't have it back and couldn't have her money back. Nowhere in their policy does it warn of these consequences. All of the girls left because they didn't feel right going on with their fun with their friend. My daughter had only bought a day pass and they refused to refund her money because "she didn't have to leave". Clearly KK doesn't value loyalty to friends.

Took advantage of out of state 2 day deal with free soft drinks. Park was really clean. The staff and ride operators were great. Good selection of rides for a 5 and 6 yr old. Food was pricy. Family of 4 would cost about $44 for a meal and that's with free soft drinks.

I was excited about it reopening. Last year was alright and i kept in mind that it was the first year and they were still working on it. Went back this year (twice) and although there were some new rides, some rides were not operating and others didn't open til later. I tried to get my dollar refill on the cup i bought just to get said refill and was refused due to the fact i am not a season pass holder. I stopped by another snack place and the drinks were down. Also, we were trying to eat around 4 o'clock and the place was out of everything. VERY slim pickings. We ended up with 3 chicken tenders and maybe 10 french fries for almost $10! Staff is less than friendly in about 80% of encounters. If they manage to get staff and such to a better place, maybe then the park will be more appealing. We do love the waterpark upgrades though. And the park is always clean.

Not Safe for Kids. One person handle two water slides. This is not a Kid friendly park also very Poor customer service and Health assistance if any accident happens.

I am not sure who replied to my comment. No one was offered any service,
UNSAFE FOR KIDS BCOZ:
WATER SLIDES AREA LIFEGUARD IS CARRYING A IRON MEASURING SCALE, WHICH IS HEAVY.
ONE LIFEGUARD TAKING CARE OF TWO WATER SLIDES.
NO MEDICAL FACILITY, NOT EVEN A PAIN MEDICATION.

Incident Happened to me was:
The lifeguard at water slides, drop the Iron scale on my leg bcoz he is trying to hold the kid who is about to slide and he left the scale. It is not an intention but it was an accident, it badly hearten me. So, I went to Health assistant area and there was a Assist Manager and other person my name ANKUR was there. He offered me only ICE, bcoz they are not authorized to dispose any medication. It was happened around 3PM. I asked assistant manager If I can see manager on duty as it is really paining. She said manager will come and see me. No one turned to me.

Around 6 PM again I complaint to Waterpark people who are at rides and they called a manager by name DEBBIE, she saw my leg swallow and she called other medical facility person he also said the same thing as we cannot dispense any medication after that he left.

In the meantime Debbie spoke to Ankur and she got all the information but she never offered any accident incident report. She took me to Customer service at the main entrance and she offered me some passes to compensate the problem. I refused them as I purchased seasoned pass. The she said customer care will take care. Customer care person she gave me a form which show :CUSTOMER COMMENTS FORM" .I said this is not a comment, it is an accident I want to complain.
Then customer care lady said you have to go back complain at Health Services facility, that time it is around 8.00PM. NO ONE WAS THERE.

So, again I took the comment form and I wrote on that this is not a comment and complain and I asked someone to call me and I want to return the passes as it is not a safe park.

After 4 days one medical facility person JENNIE called me to check the status and she felt sorry about what was happened.

After two more days one more person from customer service Jessie she called me to let me know that Season passes are non refundable but no action or concerned on my incident. Also she said she is not able to understand the report which I submitted to them.

IF STILL YOU GUYS ARE NOT ABLE TO UNDERSTAND THE REPORT PLEASE ALLOW ME TO SUBMIT THE FORM ONLINE.
