I usually called Jack Astros and placed my order then go and pick it up due to the COVID pandemic. On August 29, 2001 I work an early shift ,so I decided to call and place an order for pick up. I ordered two meals both shrimp with bowtie pasta and cream sauce. The employee
Who answers the phone was not familiar with the menus , then another person came on the line and identify herself as the supervisor for the new employee. The supervisor took my order at 3:05 PM which was two bowtie pasta, and shrimp with cream sauce ,she told me my order would be ready in 30 minutes . When I placed my order I was roughly 30 minutes away from the store. I got to the store at 3:45PM and identify myself they couldn t find my order them they saw one of their co worker coming towards them at the desk with a brown bag then I was told by (one of the staff at the front desk pick up area) that it s my order when I open the bag to check it I saw two bowtie ,pasta shrimps, chicken with cream sauce. I told them that I did not ask for chicken. A big lady identified herself as the manager and she wear blonde braids came and she was very rude telling me that I would have to wait another 20 minutes for them to make the food for me again so I left. I believe this was poor customer service. This is my first bad experience there in all year's.

I went to your location in Burlington on South service road on Dec 31 for lunch I ordered a burger with a soup. Much to my surprise while eating my soup I found a French fry in my mushroom soup when the manager came to our table he first apologized and that provided to tell me that fries are close to the soup and that just happened to be honest appology would have been just anough I didn't eat after that I was just turned off by the situation after that he offered a dessert and I said to him that I don't feel like eating anything and ordered a coffee that at the end was charged over 3 bucks for its not about the money but the fact of the matter is that I left hungry and angry on the last day of the year. Poor customer service.

Sorry to say this because Jack Astor's is generally my go to for chain restaurants, but we had dinner tonight at the Stoney Creek location and it was terrible....Not the location...the food. Which is why I'm messaging the location and corporate the same review... The locations obviously have to order the food the corporate approves. The chicken in my Parmesan was still Jack Astor's quality, but the sauce tasted sweet and cheap like ketchup, the pasta was the same with very little flavor, the Buddha salad was ice burg, and our 7 year old didn't even like his cheese pizza. Everything felt like we were in a Chucky Cheese or East Side Mario's. Really disappointed in the overall quality. My boyfriend used to work at a the Dundas Square location 5 years ago - most of the menu items are still the same - and even he was blown away at the lesser quality. Maybe it's pandemic related, and if that's the case I feel terrible.... But unless the menu actually changes, people still have the same expectation we did before the pandemic. It's unfortunate.
Canyon Creek Sherway is closing...not only did they not give the staff ample notice, they are firing staff left right and centre to save themselves from having to pay out severance and so they don't have to place them in other locations. They are telling staff, "we don't owe you anything!" Sad thing is, many of the employees have been with Canyon and Sir Corp for many years, putting everything they had into their jobs only to be told that they were never valuable and they are just as replaceable as the next person. I love Canyon Creek and Jack Astors but as a regular who loves the staff who serves them 3-6 days a week...I will never come back.
I was called for a job interview. It went relatively well and I was told I would be informed no matter what the decision was for me as a candidate. It's been 6 weeks and I think it's safe to say I've been ghosted.
