Great theme park focused around family! Not crowded at all. Lines for rides were very quick for a weekend, maybe 10 minutes max. Food was reasonably priced and yummy with immaculate restrooms located everywhere throughout the park. Staff was friendly and rides were fun. We did not go to waterpark, only theme park. Campground looked amazing too!

On a 5 star scale rating based on cleanliness, value, rides, service, and food.

Cleanliness (1 star) - The park is very clean, there is no trash lying around, and the bins were being emptied regularly. The bathrooms are very clean for a theme park.

Value (0.5 star) - With a fairly middle of the road park fee of around $50 you get a good selection of rides both on the Silverwood side and the Boulder Beach side.

Rides (0.5 stars) - There is a large selection of rides, however many are what I would consider "medium" intensity. The parks self proclaimed "marquee" ride Timber Terror is decent, but I think that the other wooden coaster Tremor is actually a better ride all around. Outside of those two rides, the only other medium to high intensity ride is the ported Deja Vu, now called Aftershock. The rest of the Silverwood side is mostly pretty tame family rides. The Boulder Beach side is very similar. Containing the flagship 6 wide racing slides, and the 3 side by side "drop slides." Outside of those, the water park seems to be a bit lacking. Many of the tube based slides are fairly mundane and don't do much to draw many park goers. Overall there is a lot to do, it's just not always the most memorable.

Service (1 star) - From the ticket counter, to the ride operators the staff here at the park are top notch. Very respectful and willing to answer any questions you may have.

Food (0 stars) - Didn't eat much at the park but from what I had, I am glad I saved my money. I would've been way more interested in the bar attached to the lazy river had the line not always been 20 people deep. There didn't seem to be near enough staff there to meet the demand. I did elect to eat at the Mexican restaurant not too far away though. This was an unfortunate mistake on my part. The "Mexican nuggets" were frozen tater tots that had been stripped of all flavor and barely cooked. The burritos consisted of shredded cheese, Darma initiative refried beans, and rice that seem to have been cooked and then sat out for days as it was more dry than the Sahara desert.

They say they are not enforcing precautions because they are limiting the number of people coming into the park. There's no way that is true. If you go here plan on doing a 2 week quarantine after. We drove 5 hours to come here and could only get on 3 rides, each line took 2 hours to wait in. Finally, we decided to try the water park instead....nope, way too crowded. And by the way their "precautions" include their employees quickly using a towel to touch surfaces. They are not doing it effective enough to actually kill any virus. I only gave more than one star because the rides are actually really fun.

I Bought 4 rollover tickets for 2020-2021 seasons and used two tickets in the 2020 season and when I went to use my other tickets this week (2021) silver woods website said that my tickets are cancelled or have been used which has not happened. Very disappointed in their customer service constantly hanging up and running me around in circles so they don t have to give me a refund. THANKS SILVERWOOD!

I'm an adult, and I've never had so much fun at a theme park. The roller coasters definitely give you an adrenaline rush, but don't leave you nauseated like many do. And the water park was incredible! Two amazing wave pools, reasonably priced food and drinks (including cocktails), family rafting rides, and many waterslides. The lines were a bit long, but i wouldn't expect anything less at such a fun place. Young or old, Silverwood appeals to all! Can't wait to return.

It was fun even in the odd world we live in nowadays. They say they are limiting the number of guests daily. I couldn't tell to be honest. It was a perfect day we were able to enjoy both parks fully.

I was going to bring my family of 8 to Silverwood but I m very disappointed with their customer service and how I was treated over the phone. I played phone tag with them all day. I originally left a message and then received a message back that they would help me out with my request if I called back. But when I finally talked to an actual person she was flat out rude and wouldn t help. It was a frustrating experience.

I go here with my family almost every year since i was not even a year old. Its worth going there in the summer. My favorite place is the water park where the water slides are long and fun to do with a family. I recommend this for a family trip. PS, The elephant ears are heaven!!! (Not a actual elephants ears)

A great little family friendly theme park! Nice landscaping and decent collection of rides, maybe not the of class you d find in the east or California, but still a good variety. I spent most of my time on the larger rides and coasters, so that is what this review will focus on.
The biggest complaint I have and one of the main reasons for withholding a star is the simple fact that none of the coasters have multiple trains, and the throughput suffers for it. Obviously Aftershock can only run one, but it has larger capacity. Corkscrew can get away with it being since it s fairly short and more of a novelty, but I cannot fathom why the two woodies only have one train each. Both are great coasters you ll want to ride multiple times, and two trains would speed things up exponentially as one could be loaded while the other runs. Anyway, just try and time your visit for a less than busy day. I was there on a Saturday in fall, it seemed fairly busy and I spent a decent amount of time waiting, but got several rides on everything. On to the specifics...

Coasters-

Aftershock- The clear king of extreme at Silverwood, Aftershock is impossible to miss with its twin towers painted in screaming green and blue. This is a Vekoma giant inverted boomerang, a larger and comparatively uncommon variety of the ubiquitous boomerang coaster model. As such, it doesn t score much for originality, but fits nicely in a remote family park like this. The ride experience is good, somewhat rough as these are known to be, but not unbearable, I rode at least five times or more. Go for the front if you can. I like the staggered seating arrangement, and the backwards vertical lift is definitely suspenseful! Aftershock also has the shortest queues, likely thanks to its high capacity train.

Tremors- Definitely my favorite coaster here, Tremors is just deliciously good. Not as imposing as timber terror, but don t underestimate it. This CCI twister-style woodie is well themed and action packed from start to finish, with lots of airtime and fast, sweeping turns. Try different seats if you can- again the front is great, but the back will fling you over the first drop more. My favorite parts of this coaster? The 4 (!) tunnels; the first low, flying airtime hill after the drop, and the great head-chopper effect midway through. Also kudos for the super cool gift shop built over the first tunnel with a viewing window to watch the train roar through.

Timber Terror- I can t really review TT definitively because the train was running backwards on my visit in preparation for Halloween. (I understand tremors also does this during October). So I want to ride again normally, but backwards was a lot of fun too, with a great first drop and nice series of airtime hills. Both these woodies are smoother than a much newer wooden coaster I d ridden shortly before, keep it up Silverwood.

Corkscrew- This one is cool just for its history. Corkscrew was originally built in California and was the first coaster with modern inversions, meaning the first time riders could go upside-down without risking whiplash (or even death). It and its creator, Arrow Dynamics, significantly advanced roller coaster design. Today, it s not a particularly breathtaking ride, but again fits nicely in the park as an introductory steel coaster for younger riders who can t quite commit to Aftershock. (And if you re a younger rider reading this and going upside down really freaks you out, go ahead and try it. Most times it s nowhere near as scary as our brains think it will be :-).

Other Rides-

Spin Cycle- an impressively tall frisbee-style flat ride, and yes it inverts. The swinging action felt a bit too controlled though.

There is also a drop tower; a nice flume and raft ride, and many other smaller kids rides. If you re still reading this, way to go! Now go ride Tremors for me.

Absolutely love this place , great staff , low prices for a major theme park . We would rather come here then the over crowded over priced other guys . We would give 10 stars if possible. Only drawback is winter lol

There are tons of rides. And not just for adults and teens. There were at least a dozen rides my two and a half year old twins could go on. They loved it.
A highlight was the guided train ride around the perimeter of the park, filled with tour guides and bad guys trying to rob the train!
There were lots of food options plus various alcoholic beverage options.

Crazy expensive and lines for days on the good rides. Water park is amazing overall. Recommend getting there early and staying all day if you want to experience the whole park. Highly recommend the train ride thru the park, awesome little show they put on!!! The crew decided my son was Justin Beibers twin and razed him up on front of the whole train full of people. One of the greatest moments of this papas life!!! Priceless.

This a great park. Prices are reasonable. There are rides for all ages in a family plus a really nice water park. And not like some theme parks they don't empty your wallet for food. A 3 piece chicken basket with fries was only $6.00. They only drawback is if there is a long line it takes a long time to get your food. The also have a buffet that is good and only $12.99

Great fun at a fair price. We have visited 2 years in a row and are yet to be disappointed. The staff are courteous. The facilities are clean. The rides are great and the bbq is excellent. See you next year.

It's weird, I want to give 4 stars for the fun but unfortunately the last 3 times weve gone the customer service has gotten worse. Not in all areas and people are still kind most of the time but it's been sad to see the customer service go downhill and the lack of care and smiles given by employees. We love the Train ride, they still give a good show and we love Lindys Restaurant for sit down meals. Lots of delicious options here and the staff are always sweet. It's mostly the rides and game area where we experience the rude staff.

I m so so so happy that they serve the beyond burger here! I had one and it was delicious! Yay for vegetarian options! Also I m very impressed with the stunning flowers and landscaping throughout the park. My only mild complaint is that actual children were running the Aftershock roller coaster when I went. The staff were literally running, shouting, and joking crudely at a bit more than what would be appropriate around a supervisor perhaps. I know it s an amusement park but I d expect some level of professionalism I guess. Other than that what a great day at the theme park!
