first time to use it. Visiting Chicago has changed for the first time in about 30 years, and the impression of the city has changed slightly. Well, aside from this, this hotel is in the heart of downtown and a very good location. I arrived at the hotel after 9am, but if I paid 25 $ at the early check-in, I could enter the room. Because there was jet lag and wanted to take a nap, it was saved.
We are thankful that we can take a bath because the room is quite large and has a bathtub. It feels very good because it is like a designer hotel.
You can spend a long time here without getting bored.
Everyone at the front desk and the staff are also kind. Let's talk about anything you have trouble.

However, when I checked out, I noticed by looking at the details, and a destination fee of $ 20 per night was added. It seems like a resort fee, but this is a little expensive. If you think you could have stayed cheaper, it would have been added without knowing.

A very nice hotel right in the center of Chicago. The sights can be reached from there very well on foot. The rooms are big with coffeemaker etc. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Come again

Nice room and extremely helpful and professional staff. I like the silver motif. The shower tiles are slippery and there is nothing to grab in case someone were to slide. It's not the easiest shower to shave in, because there's nothing to rest your foot on. No room service. The restaurant serves breakfast and dinner. The breakfast was good, but there are many places around here to eat. Great location.

Spent five nights here while attending a conference. The property was very nice, with a modern, but slightly art deco vibe. Staff was friendly and helpful. AC and plumbing were new and worked great. There are no views from room windows. EL train runs above Wabash Street in front of the hotel, but once inside the hotel you would not know it. This is Chicago.!! Good food just down the street in either direction.

This is a nice hotel. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean. The restaurant's menu is restrictive for somebody who does not eat all types of food. It is also a bit expensive however there are so many restaurants nearby it does not matter. The hotel is extremely accessible from the train and within walking distance from almost everything in the loop

My partner and I stayed at your hotel a week ago. The receptionist was super friendly and helpful. I also observed that the rooms were very spacious with large comfortable beds. It was nice staying at your hotel! I didn't encounter any problem during our stay. I will highly recommend your hotel to all of my friends here in our area!

OUTSTANDING service and experience from 3-19 through 3-22, 2017.

I was in Chicago on business, and it was my first time visiting. Great corner room, clean, and spacious enough for one traveler. The wifi was reliable and easy to access a big plus that I really appreciated. The front desk and guest services staff were consistently attentive, helpful, and professional, despite the fact that I was a bit frazzled from other stressful travel issues. I will stay at this hotel again, and would recommend it to others in a heartbeat. The cleaning staff did an impeccable job each day, and everyone was courteous and warm. They seemed genuinely concerned not only with doing their job, but with doing it flawlessly.

Seriously: All hotels hoping to compete with a establishment like The Silversmith need to understand that a professional, competent staff is what will set your business apart every time. And no, no one asked me to write this. I'm not really a review-writing person in general. But when a business is truly one of a kind, a little public praise is the least I can do.

Silversmith is a nice hotel that's pretty close to all the tourist attractions in downtown Chicago. About a 5 minute walk to river front and 10 minute walk to lake front. The room was very clean but had a faint musty smell. Also, I got pink eye during my stay. Although I can't say for sure it was from silversmith, since I had traveled alot recently. For the price we got it at, silversmith is a good and comfortable stay. Our premium two bedroom was very large.
