Good service, food hot when arrives and large portions

forgot a bunch of items. Got stuff we didnt order. And call to tell them and they just said we will get it right next time. Wont be calling them again

I was so upset when I went in to get a pick up they did not cook my chicken chow they microwaved it. I watched them doing it with no mask on and picking in the bowl that was supposed to been cooked fresh. Then I asked also for large wonton and noodle and she did not add the noodle. I said to her I ordered noodles and she told me I didn't. Never going back again.Dont want old rubbery chicken and microwave chow mein.

I used to order in from here about twice a month for the past 4 years because their food was great and prices reasonable. However since the beginning of this year, Silver House has raised their prices 3 times! Their food portions have also decreased and the quality has also gone really downhill. It's just not worth it for me to order from here, which is a shame because it was my go-to for Chinese food

Really quick, clean and they've changed up the decor. The portions are really big. I'd recommend the sweet and sour pork and pork fried rice. Two lunch items are only $7.00!

Food is great, but it's been so busy that you have to order at least 2 hrs in advance

This place used to be good. Then the new owners that took over have turned it into a joke. The food is bland and colourless. The veggies are always raw. The prices are ridiculous for the quality you get. This will be another failed restaurant soon. Can t charge those prices and give that kind of quality. I will never be back.

Horrible service, junkie delivery driver, cant understand how to provide good customer service and trust me I've been working hospitality buisness for about a decade and I've never been so upset/angry/disappointed with how Silver House has gone completely downhill!!! I was ordering off and on for 5-10yrs from this restaurant and its it's never been so bad then it is now!

Excellent all around. Prompt delivery at the requested delivery time, very accommodating for our son's peanut allergy. Everything was piping hot and ready to rock. $50 (including delivery and tip) got us 2-3 day's worth of dinner.

Ordered here through skip the dishes and unfortunately made a mistake on the time twice in the span of about half an hour. But canceled both orders within 30 seconds of placing the order. After the second order, someone who works there called to give me hell. When I explained it was an honest mistake, she yelled at me for wasting her time. Don t recommend!

They went for silver to gold! Amazing food. Must have if you come to Maple Ridge.

If I could give this restaurant no stars, I would. We called for delivery and it took them 2 hours to deliver our food. We would have understood if they are having a busy night and a courtesy call is the appropriate thing to do because delivery customers are just as important as dine-in customers. And we would have totally understood if they gave us a courtesy call to let us know that it would take awhile but instead, when we called, the lady treated us inconsiderately and talked to me like she could care less. She spoke as if 2 and half hour wait is nothing and made no apologies for their poor service. Other than that, the food was mediocre. My family and I are very disappointed.

After ordering from another place in law Ridge we found this place. Good is always really good and the portions are huge. Always very pleasant people on the phone.

The absolute worst experience I've ever had!!! Never order anything from them! The staff is extremely rude, the driver can not find your house. The business has gone to zero since Eva sold it! I wouldn't order from them for a million dollars!!! Zero stars!!!

Very polite staff, delivered piping hot in less than 40 minutes. For many years this is our favorite place to order from. Highly recomended.

I ordered bbq rice for delivery and they bring normal rice then I called and they denied it and told me how do you know that the order was wrong? . We ve ordered the bbq rice before so obviously we know the difference, but they still denied it. Terrible customer service.

I drive from Mission to get Chinese food from here. The price & taste is the best.

Bad food, terrible service. Food was extremely overdone and the server was basically deaf with no clue about the menu.

I have very low expectations when I entered the establishment. Took them 5 minutes to notice we were waiting at the door despite few customers in the restaurant.
After we ordered we had a very long wait for the food to come (approximately 20 minutes), only to find it had no flavour at all.

Menu does not give must a proper description of what to expect.
e.g. I did not expect chicken chow mein would come with corn, and no other vegetables.

We have been coming here for eight yrs the owner and waitresses are friendly the food is always fresh hot the two item combos to much food for me so I take it for lunch next day

food was ok , but there a rip off place as the menu states one price and when they bring it to you they up the price by $3 per item. Called in as was told it;s a new menu and it was changed a year ago. They said this but I know people I have spoken to that say it happened to them a couple of years ago and they were told the same story. Was a customer for years but they have now lost my business as they don't want to be honest about their pricing

Worst service in Maple Ridge, ended up leaving after sitting waiting for service. Staff seen me but I guess decided I could wait.

Such good food! Fresh and tastes homemade. I ve tried a lot of local Chinese Restaurants and this has been the best one so far. Lots of meat and veggies in the chow mein and fried rice, fried chicken balls are amazing, large servings for good prices. Highly recommend!

Always my go to spot but was disappointed last night

If I could give the 0 stars I would. We ordered them on skip the dishes and two hours later the food was still not here. I finally cancelled my order and have not been refunded the charge. This restaurant should not offer delivery if they can t prepare the food and send it out. Can t tell you if the food sucks but the delivery sure did.

they told us our dinner would be coming in an hour. we ve been waiting two hours and it still hasn t showed up. hungry af and disappointed.

Food is pretty good, only one complaint , I ordered over 30.00 and picked up. They gave me a choice of 10% off or 3 egg rolls, I chose egg rolls, son picked up, no egg rolls or 10% off

Portions are good but food has gone downhill since the new owners took over. Plus the young girl on the phone is rude.

Cheap food, huge portions. Overall the food is good, however some of the dishes are flavorless. The chow mein was notably so. However the pineapple pork was delicious and the service was decent. If you're looking for cheap prices and lots of food, this is your place.

Can I give a half star? I wouldn't know how the food is but I can tell I you the service sucks.
At approx. 7 pm I ordered 4 dishes gave my address for delivery. 45-60 minutes later I called and was reassured that my order was gone and would be arriving any minute. 20 minutes later I'm still waiting but have to go a pick up a family member. Upon arriving home at 10:15 I find that the food still had not arrived. Well the restaurant is closed.
My son attempted to call the restaurant to inform them our food still hadn't arrived and was told there was no order made!!!
How ridiculous! I'll never call again. China Kitchen will get my money from now on!

Always slow. The estimated time of pick up and delivery is rediculous and never correct. If its and 1.5 hours for pick up add 20 to another 39 mins to that. Obviously can't keep up with the demand. Your very popular, it's time to expand.

Called one number on the website - no answer after 20 rings. Called the other number on the website - gave all my info (address, phone number, etc.) and was then told that they aren't taking any more orders (made the call at 745pm on a Friday). I will never call again. I will never go in this restaurant. I will always tell people to order at the other restaurants in MR.

Placed an order for delivery at 4:50. At 6:00 I called and I was told it was sitting there waiting for a driver and would be leaving shortly. 6:30 I called again and it hadn't left yet. Cancelled the order and was told to have a good night. They couldn't care less. They have now lost my business.

Good food and good service but plastic cups don't work for me

The food was delicious, it took time to cook but it was well worth the wait especially with the affordable price.

We just moved to Maple Ridge last fall. Maybe it is because we were so spoiled with TONS of great Chinese food options in Burnaby, but this was far from meeting our standards. The noodles in the chow mein tasted like instant Mr. Noodles, the fried rice was the most edible out of our order but that isn't saying much, and the sweet and sour pork tasted processed and was extremely chewy. Won't be ordering from here again.

The food is alright, I honestly only ever go for the wonton soup and egg rolls.. but after my most recent experience I m not the biggest fan of this place. We walked in the restaurant is empty besides two people waiting for pick ups. We sit down and neither of the girls at the counter acknowledge our existence. We wait, they continue to answer phone calls and hand out pick up orders but have yet to even look towards us. I m a pretty patient person, I could of stomped up there and asked for a menu or told them we were already ready to order (we get the same thing everytime and we ve gone here for nearing 10 years now.) but I didn t, I remained seated watching people pick up food, the two Asian females answer the phones but still no acknowledgement. Two men come in and take a seat, wait about 10 minutes where at this point we have been waiting upwards of 20 minutes and have got no menu or cutlery. The guy goes up to the lady and with the most attitude she says you can wait. The two men leave, and shortly after we finally decide to leave wasting a total of 30 minutes. I m incredibly disappointed and this experience has really discouraged me from ever returning and giving them my business.

So this has been my place to order from for 18 years since I first moved to Maple Ridge. Unfortunately I think it's time to find a new place. The last 4 times I've tried to order for delivery I've been told it will at least be an hour and forty-five minutes. Three times I just said don't bother and they missed out on my business. Once I made the error of saying okay. It took 2hrs and one of my items wasn't even in the bag. Definitely a drop in quality and service seems to be happening here.

Wow, the world's surliest woman works here. Not sure how the food is yet and I haven't been told how long my wait will be for my pick up order but if I hadn't paid already, I'd be walking out. Oh, and not that it's stated anywhere but you must choose, 10% off or two free egg rolls on orders over $30....Not both as the menu would lead one to believe.

Disappointed; ordered something got something else instead.

Called to complain and they gave me attitude, did not want to admit a mistake was made.

Ended up having to eat the incorrect order as they wouldn t do anything for us.

If you order from this place, beware of this terrible customer service.

Was not happy with the meal that i order for my family. The food was not great and the taste was awful . A long time ago the food was great but now the food has gone down hill and it s overpriced too for the Quality you get. Time to find a new place to order and eat.

It claims to be the best Chinese restaurant in Maple Ridge. Had been waiting for a client for two hours and felt embarrassed to say "sorry. we are still waiting" to the smiling waitress who turned out to be the owner. Finally we made the order, I tried lemon chicken and varied vegetables. It is a very good lunch at $7.

If you want Customer service with an attitude I highly recommend this place.
You get what they want.
Not a pleasant experience

Make me really miss Eva she knew how to run Silver House!!
Waited for 2 hours for our meal when the driver said 1 hour. Then the driver phoned us to ask where the house was and ended up hanging up on us in mid sentence. Then he walked 2 blocks in the rain with my food so now it's ice cold. We declined the food and told him to take it back. Then someone called from the restaurant and told us we need to return the food if we're not going to pay for it. We let them know we didnt accept the food and the guy called us a liar.
I'm a so disappointed with how Jenny is running this business. As someone who worked Eva's for 8 years this would of never of happened. When we talked to Jenny she was not helpful at all!! She seemed lost and had no idea what was going on! Even admitting she doesn't know what shes doing

Nothing special. Not a place to go out of your way to eat, but nothing wrong with it either. Typical menu of Westerized Cantonese cuisine.

I heard the service can be bad at times. I can't speak about that, but I think they have the best take out in Maple Ridge.
